Awful Customer Service

On 2 separate holidays the revolut card has let me down. The contactless hasn't worked but revolut has said there is no problem with my card as they can see payments on their screen. This is because I've had to use chip and pin. Customer service are a total waste of time. They are not helpful in the slightest and your complaint gets taken over by various people. Even when you make an official complaint, they don't want to know. I have closed my account and hond elsewhere

I am so sorry I ever got this app

I am so sorry I ever got this app. It has no helpline and no email where you caqn get in touch with them. Any tranaction I tried to make either did'nt go through or I was charged for it. Even the withdrawels that did not come through I was charged. E2;95 for withdrawing e100 AND .12 iRISH STAMP DUTY. I can not wasit to delete this app and never hear from them again

Terrible terrible terrible

Terrible terrible terrible. I received a card registered to my address by someone using my address fraudulently. It’s been impossible to get Revolut to cancel the card and the account registered to my address.
Given the FSA regulations in place It is unfathomable that:
1. Someone can set up an account with my details - KYC is a worry
2. No one can handle my query. Live chat has bounced to 4 different people. What a joke

I have now transferred all the money from my own Revolut account as a result.

Scam scam scam company

Scam scam scam company went with this company after seeing Elon musk going on about crypto so hubby invested £160 the least amount you can invest then on the 18th december gets a phone call asking us to take out a loan for 15,000 for 10 days and to transfer the money to them and they would send it back into my account within 5 days of course I said I was not prepared to do that so they sent me a long text saying I needed to transfer £9,800 so as to prove we are not money laundering I said absolute no way then they reduced it to £5000 I said to hubby we need to go to the bank something is not right and I am so glad we did they knew all about Revolut and said it’s a scam and they phoned the fraud squad right away and the also agreed they are refunding my £160 to our account cancelled my cards and they are sending me new ones my bank is Nationwide and they have been brilliant

While paying with my Revolut card in a store, somebody else paied in another city twice with the same card (in my hand) I immediately asked to stop the payment and they told me tha it wasn't possible as everything was done in the proper way using a valid card.
How is it possible to be in two different place?

They don’t do anything to help me from a scam

I was tricked and without looking carefully I pressed the approval button. Immediately, after that I contacted support, saw that the status was Pending, told them everything, instead of canceling the request and refunding my money, they told me that they were very sorry and it would be better to get a new card.

Totalt crappy experience - avoid.

Some years ago i had a business account. When i changed surname. My account was locked. Trying to reopen it. I submitted the same documents several times. To get them verified. Then i was asked for a new document. Followed by the request to submit the same documents that had passed the review before.
Because of an ad on Facebook i decided to try again.
Still the same absolutely terrible experience.
There are other providers for the same type of bank services out there.

Very poor customer service

Had what was quite clearly several unauthorised transactions, three in all over several hours, all to same user name taking same amount of money.
On third attempt, Revolut blocked my card.
I did not have access to my account until third withdrawal attempt.
There followed a string of back and forward messages with website, none of which were with a live customer supporter.
After 24 hours of nonsense, I received 2 annonymised updates saying I had no grounds to claim repayment.
What an utterly terrible service.
Now trying to retrieve any remaining funds, as I have no intention of continuing my account

Do not use their stocks trading team

Do not use their stocks trading team. They decided to close my account and have held my money hostage for 3 weeks now. No updates from customer service for 3 weeks. To this day I’m not even sure I’ll get my money back and what value my stocks will have if I ever do. Go elsewhere, you cannot speak with anyone, it’s just a random chat which is surely offshored that don’t know anything about what’s going on.

Worst Investment I ever made

They can improve by admitting to their mistakes. Someone managed to get into my account and attempt to withdraw 4 times £5,487. They more or less accused me of giving the person my details yet I received no 6 digit code to my phone. Also, because they don't have a fraud department it took them 3 days to get back to me. The money was long gone. I went to the Financial Ombudsman and they are as bad. Speak about total Biased. Use this bank at your peril

Totally dishonest thieves

Totally dishonest thieves. Had £25,200.25 stolen from my Revolut account and transferred to some totally unknown account. Customer Service can only be contacted by ‘chat’. Cannot speak to a person. I would welcome contact from anyone who has authority from Resolute.
Appalling service. Court action is the only thought I consider as appropriate.

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service! Transferred to 3 different advisors on live chat as badly trained and they couldn’t care less. The original offer I took up was a reward for a friend who recommended me. I needed to make 3 separate purchase of £5 within a specific time period. I ordered a physical card as ordering online or having my phone scanned in store isn’t an option for me. When I hadn’t received it they said it was stuck in their system and wouldn’t extend the reward period. Not helpful at all. The card would be great to have but bad customer service has well took the shine off it

Worse bank ever!!!! DO NOT TRUST

I am writing a review here because I am aware of thr company being able to edit what reviews appear on TrustPilot through their business account, but I NEED TO SAY THIS THEY ARE THE WORSE YOU VAN EVER DEAL WITH. I have been unfortunate with some series of incidents qhere they have shown nothing but carelessness. First incident was in July 2023 where I been a victim of scam and revolut has decided they wont help me through their customer service team. Secondly on 24th of August 2023 my phone got stolen and the thief managed to hack in and transfer my balance to their bank account. After I have got my phone back and reported it to Revolut and police, they have told me that the team has decided to not categorise this as a fraud even after providing them proof of my police report. When I asked on what is exactly that has gone wrong, somebody called Garima said "sorry but as I said my team has made the final decision". So I live now in fear and I am deciding to close my Revolut account forever, because they made it clear they could actually help me but they won't!!!! Worse bank and DO NOT BOTHER, there are same low rates for paying abroad at other banks like Halifax and Barclays!!! And they customer service has been appealing as I had to explain my situation to each of them because you don't get a designated customer support agent. Appealing talk and they are very rude through chat and they are refusing to give me proof of their final decision, on why the team decided to not cayegorise my case as fraud even with my police report sent to them as proof. I wouldn't recommend anybody use it for the simplest reason they don't stick out to you as a normal corporate bank would!!!!

My 13 yr old son ordered a burger online and the branch then called to say we cant deliver get a refund online, which of course did not happen. Revolut refuse to do a charge back as they say you have to wait 7 days, as deliveries can be delayed, really, for a burger? Looking to open an account at a bank where they actually care.

I was referred to Revolut by an overseas family member, I work in £, she works in $ great we thought, and we both get £60 referal bonus fab. Expect we didn’t, I got the referral link and signed up but had no guidance on what I needed to do. Put some money in the account and used the card a few times to try it out thinking I had better use it incase it doesn’t count as an active account. Still no info about the referral. Then my family member finds a section on her account saying I haven’t made all the steps and the referral is rejected WHAT STEPS? Turns out there are t and c but they don’t issue them to the person signing up, I had to pay £4.99 for a physical card and spent £5 3 times, and there I was spending &
£3.80 on coffees. Asked for help from me and they just refer me to t and c that they never provided me with. Since I’ve signed up all they have done is spam me with emails about benefits and offices. It’s a data mining load of absolute S*******. Don’t bother

So I sighned up with this company

So I sighned up with this company, let me make a deposit of £30 then hit me with you can't use your account unless you have a passport or driving licence, I don't drive and iv never been abroad andd don't plan too I have a citezens ship card which is legal ID in the UK, I didn't need these documents to deposit but now I want my money back I'm not allowed it back with out a driving licence or passport luckily it was £30 and not more, still don't havee my money back so they have conned me out of £30 quick to take money good luck getting it back. the worst expirience ive ever had with an online bank

the worst expirience ive ever had with any bank, my phone broke and i wanted to use revolut on my computer since my temporary phone was to old to use revolut app. and i cant verify it no where ,when i reached revolut via mail, chat in the app there is 0 response mail support sending me to chat,chat is sending me to help center and help center sends me to chat or mail circle of madness. ive never been soo frustrated by interacting with customer support in my life.

Account closed without any explanation

I tried to open a business account but the process is stopped without any explanation even I command and I pay for the credit card. I m an it consultant living in UK. So nothing wrong and I opened bank account in other banks without any troubles. Revolut behaviour is not correct
