With holding my money
Somehow I ended up with duplicate Revolut accounts. I only realised after some time as myself and my work colleagues regularly split bills and I wasn’t receiving the money. I contacted Revolut and immediately they blocked one of the accounts. They asked me for my bank information. I asked them just to transfer within Revolut to my other account, but they told me they couldn’t do that. It had to be an external bank to get this far in itself, took seven days and various online customer service members, having to tirelessly explain myself to each new person that took over shift. I was informed my money would be with me within 10 days. It was allegedly sent on the 16th of June and to date I am on day 26 and still no money. Every day I message counting the days and every day they reply saying they appreciate my patience. Revolut have my money and clearly have not made a transaction or if they have they have done it incorrectly. Otherwise the fast transfer would be in my bank account which is not, as it stands they are keeping £215 of my own money from me what I should’ve done is not bothered with the customer service team deleted my account from my phone and set up another one to try and self transfer the money rather than putting my trust in the actual customer service team. Now I fear I will never see the £215 again. The headache this has created over the last month is not enjoyable and the time I have wasted I will never get back. Not to mention the money and worry.

Dreadful dreadful disaster of a company. I got a card in the post . In a leather card holder inside it was filthy with dust and dirt. I mean FILTHY as if someone was playing a joke . I don’t even know what Revolut is. As you see here I m a major reviewer. So I’m genuine . They now write to me saying I owe them 120 pounds and they are sending the bailiff. Mental . I don’t even have an account number as the card came with zero and no account on it . Just my name .The emails are noreply at Revolut so it must be a scam? It must be .. if not it’s terrifying for them to run a business so so badly

Difficulty transferring money using Revolut
I transferred money from my linked account to Revolut with the aim of sending it on to a family member in France. No problem in Revolut accepting it. However when I tried to move it on to France that's when the dificulty began. Under the guise of protecting me from a scam they made me jump through hoops and wouldn't accept
my instructions to move the money. After about 30 mins going to and fro via a chat bot I finally lost the will to live and cancelled the transaction. But that wasn't the end of it. I asked for the money to be returned from the same account it came from earlier that day. They put me through the same laborious process as before with the indignity of having to submit a "mugshot" with a written notice held in front of me as per their instructions. It took over an hour following delay after delay before they finally agreed to return my money all under the guise of protecting me.
Protecting me from what? I only wanted my money returned from whence it came! Its not rocket science! I finally received my money the next day.
They are quick enough to accept money into the account but slow in sending it out to where you want. All in all a horrible and frustrating experience. What a terrible outfit. Their customer service is non existent with nobody to talk to. I'll stick with the banks in future. Far more professional. Its not worth the bit better exchange rate to use this company. They really need to get their house in order and up their game. Needless to say I will never use them again and will be cancelling my card. Do not use them for large sums.
Better still avoid at all costs.

Think if I could have given no stars I would have. No customer service advisors or very limited., no help, no response or very limited. 12 hours of text messages with 7 different people. was asked the same questions by the 7 people. Security is shocking and can see why scammers/ fraudsters & basically any thief who wants to scam individuals asks you to put money into this bank. There seems to be little or no accountability and blame seems to lie at the feet of the customers. NEVER USE THEM IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO. Worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Money scammed from my account and they blocked my own account. They show little or no empathy and if you expect any real assistance, you'll be sadly disappointed. Asked for information to share with the police.............radio silence. 70+ pages of info, telling me not to use scam sites and one of their operatives directs me to a scam site & it's my fault!!!!! Unbelievable. My own bank has discussed the full case and feel Revolut are partially responsible for the situation but they are having none of it. Asked for an update on the matter.......none. They have now taken to not responding to my messages so I can only assume they've done whatever they said they were doing in terms of an investigation BUT WOULDN'T SHARE & that's that. STEER CLEAR.
Locked out can't chat try this way
Well I today I manged to get through to a chat I downloaded the business app set it up as a new customer then was able to chat and then explain my situation about my personal account and then I was directed to the correct person . I was on a chat for over 2 hours and finally got my app reset with new number and new email and all seems good hope this helps people 👍

Stay fare away from this company. They will close you account without any reasons and they will not tell you why, I know a lot of people who have there accounts banned so this is not the company to chose. What a waste of time and what a joke company :(

The worst service you could possibly imagine, how is possible for a bank not to provide a phone support, app can’t login , “We’re sorry, something went wrong, try again” absolute madness, only way to communicate is via the app and if you can’t login in to the app….you can’t contact them
More hassle than what its worth
Their £50 refer a friend reward is a scam, referred 2 people and didn’t get anything. Took my concerns up with customer service and they were not helpful at all, it was as though I was talking to a bot. DO NOT RECOMMEND, go elsewhere!!! All of my family will be cancelling their cards because of this.

I’m not too sure why there are so many negative reviews. I have been a Revolut user for over 3 years now. There multi currency accounts are super useful, exchange rates are brilliant, fixed deposits pay daily interest and they have low fees for purchasing crypto and stocks. They always post my card to me overseas without any issues too.
The only slight negative is that they run referral programs and promise a cash bonus if your referral signs up - so far 2 referrals and no bonus or referral fee!!
CHANGED MY CARD DETAILS AFTER 2 YEARS WITHOUT CONSENT
Went to use my app last night to transfer money into my Revolut from my main account, it didn’t work and to put an incredibly long story short they basically changed my cards expiry date without my consent and now the app won’t let me delete the prior card or the agents or let me add a new card. I have basically been ignored for the last hour being given no response and what I did get was scripted filler messages. This is absolutely ridiculous that I am locked out of my own bank account essentially and it really does make you wonder what they are actually doing with your details

How to turn a nice holiday into a nightmare.
Me and wife booked a holiday in Dubai. We decided to bring my revolut card with us and use it because it is flexible on exchange, easy to use, you can withdrawal cash... " that is what they offer officialy " In our first day we went for shopping. I had 3000AED on my account. I withdrawal it by a cash machine. We used all the cash in a couple of days. So I went to another cash machine and I was shocked when I realized that I can not get any cash out. I had to appologize to the seller and walk away without the goods. I was fuming. I checked my revolut which says I was suspended. Also showed a message that: You can not do any steps you must wait until we finish our investigation 10 working days. That means 2 weeks. So we stood there without a bank card, no cash on the 2nd day on our holiday. We could not buy a cup of water. Also what a shame you want to buy nice presents and finally you can not pay... shame Shame SHAME... I was lucky because we rent a car so we sat in the car and draw back to the hotel. I do not know what we could do if we did not rent a car because we had no money for a taxi. There is no other way to contact revolut then their usless chat agents who can not say a single word rather than: Sorry.
I asked million times to give me the answer what is the reason to block my account. They answered me while the investigation is on they can not answer. Yesterday the 10 days were gone. They still did not finished the investigation. " SHAME ". This morrning I had a message that they finished the investigation and they decided to close my account. They gave me a target date to withdrawal my money. I contacted them with my major question: WHY DID YOU BLOCK MY ACCOUNT? Belive ot not they showed me their terms and conditions section 24. which has 8 different reasons. I asked the question to named which one I broke. Belive or not they are not able to answer my question. So I asked what legal way can I get this information? So that is where we are now.
The chat support is absolutly incompetent.
And one more additional information. They blocked my account because it was under investigation so I can not reach my money. I am a premium customer so I pay 6.99GBP. They took the 6.99GBP while my account was under investigation. How is it possible? I am the only one who have not access? :) Absolute joke.
Avoid!
They lock you out of your account and leave you stranded with no money. The customer service is useless, and sometimes you get "cheeky" replies in return. Do not recommend this service whatsoever.

Not even worth a star - missing my salary for over ten days - every chat agent the same - no knowledge no desire to help - and every day they read if a cue card saying they understand that your Sahara had gone missing - utter crap bank with crap chat agents mascerading as customer service -

Do not use Revolut, stress all around
Set up an account to give me U18 a card to use abroad. Nothing but hassle. Can’t use AppleWallet until you order a card for them at £4.99, charged me twice for ordering a card. Customer services very unhelpful and slow to respond. Wish I had gone elsewhere!
