Jag is very polite and helpful, answered all the questions I had and gave me information I had not considered before. Showed the vehicle to me, allowed test drive which was straightforward. After this I proceeded with the purchase without hesitation and we arranged a prompt collection date.

Turned up at MG Richmond Southampton to buy an MG HS Phev, and found the garage clean/tidy as you would expect from a main MG dealer.
The staff were helpful and then there was what I perceived as a bit of a game where the salesman went back and forth to the boss and on the third time he returned to the agreed trade in price for my immaculate 2016 Jaguar XE and the eventual sale price for the MG.
As part of the sale I was promised a new set of cherished plates to replace the original ones it was born with, (otherwise my old cherished plates had Hendy on the bottom) and as I admit I am somewhat fussy to have a clean car so requested a valet as it was not clean enough.
About a week later I dropped off the Jaguar and picked up the MG.
On getting home I found no new Cherished plates were made up (was told they were unable to provide cherished plates unless already on the car at time of collection), and although the car was clean (ish), the valet had not been done. Fluff, dust in the nooks and cranny's, bits on the carpet, and finally some beige hard to get rid of goo below the steering wheel.
It took me 1-2 hours to polish, clean off the goo and get it to my kind of finish.
I had to return to the garage a few days later and was dealt with by the lady boss who instantly made me a set of Cherished plates and heard my lack of Valet concerns.
So only minor concerns, but it is the little things that make the deal and sale experience sweeter.

Fast, effortless service from Jag and the team
I came in last week after writing my previous car off and was quite anxious to find something quick as I a) needed to get to work and b) had a family trip abroad at the end of the month that we weee driving too.
Jag was absolutely brilliant, I called up and said I could come straight down to test drive one of there used MGs. He made the whole admin process effortless and once I had decided was able to ensure I had the vehicle within 3 days!

Nice young lady salesperson without being pushy. However I found the selling of other products ie Gardx and others to be a bit targeted after a long time spent in the show room. I did feel after I got home that the waiting around for paperwork and printing of documents was all part of the sales strategy.

our previous car was a skoda
our previous car was a skoda, so it just felt right to get another skoda. we went to richmonds in Botley and met Tomaz Polak, he was very helpful. He helped us to find the right car for us. we did have some teething problems, (the car is over 4 years old , so we wanted to make sure that scratches, etc were fixed) and they were. we have been driving it for about a week now and so far so good. we love our karoq. thank you Tomaz, for helping us to find our dream car.
