Very efficient
No problems from order to installation. I had to postpone the original installation at the last minute because of covid but was given a new date soon afterwards. Installer was quick and efficient and was able to route much of the cabling out of sight.
No car yet though!

Good experience
Good experience with the installer that fitted my charger, no fuss and good communications. There was an issue with the charger during initial installation (due to a fault on the manufacturer side) and it was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Rightcharge were great
Rightcharge themselves were great, it was really easy to compare chargers to pick the one that was right for me and they put me in touch with a reputable charge-point installer. It took a while for the home charging point to be installed but that is on the installer and nothing to do with Rightcharge. In the end I now have a great charger installed for a reasonable price and it's all thanks to Rightcharge. Highly recommended.

Zappi Charger installed by inexperienced electrician
Zappi installed by inexperienced electrician. Didn't work properly / fully. My energy were efficient in sending and arranging fitting of a replacement charger. Unfortunately too has the same issue. We've updated new firmware that was sent but this didn't work either.

We carry out careful checks on all of our installer network and aim to work with only the top 1% of the profession so it’s really disappointing to hear that wasn’t achieved with your install.
Firstly, I will work with MyEnergi, the charge point manufacturer, as well as the installer to ensure the system is set up correctly asap. If necessary, we can draw on the rest our installation network to resolve the issue speedily.
Secondly, I’d like to offer £50 compensation to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. I will reach out to organise this with you directly.

Video survey not infallible
When it came to the installation there were a couple of potentially serious issues that were not picked up on the video call survey. Luckily we found a workaround but could have been a real problem. Other than that I’m very satisfied, the price was great, the installer arrived on time and the charger is exactly where I wanted it. Not tried it yet as (like many) I am still waiting for the car to be delivered

Rightcharge gave me information on ev chargers that was relevant to my particular circumstances. They also provided the contact to a contractor for the charger that I required. A first class service.

Poor rating based on terrible installer experience.
My experience with Rightcharge themselves was very good. They recommended a charger which is I am very pleased with and they promptly put me in touch with their recommended installer. That is where the good part ends.
The installer they recommended was ChargedEV. Their customer service is appalling, they never call back when they say they will. Their workmanship is also appalling. My installation was audited by the government appointed auditor and they identified 14 faults. 10 months on from the initial installation I am still waiting for 13 faults to be fixed.
So, the 2 stars is based on the fact that Rightcharge recommended an installer that is clearly not up to the job.
Update
Following my original review Rightcharge have assisted in getting ChargedEV to correct all of the outstanding issues identified in the Audit report. They have also provided useful information on the most appropriate energy tariff for electric vehicle charging.

Hey Alec, I've been speaking to ChargedEV over the weekend and we'll get this fixed. Based on how responsive ChargedEV have been in the last 48 hours I think it will happen quickly. However, if we fail to get there then Rightcharge will cover any additional cost to remove any potential issues.
It sounds like there's significant disagreement between ChargedEV and the auditor's findings (I've been told this auditor has since been removed from the Government's register) but clearly the most important thing is that you have an installation you feel confident in and we'll make sure that happens.
