Bought Timing Belt kit from them in late 2020
The date on belt is 2015 .On contacting them was told was not used so had not aged
only has a fitted life of 7 years
So I will scrap it and find a more recent one from a decent supplier

I went online and ordered an "Audio Connectivity Kit - C2P16491 - Genuine Jaguar" for my 2007 XK on Monday afternoon from Rimmer. It was about $325 (US) with freight. It is exactly what I ordered. It was shipped from the UK via DHL on Tuesday and in my hand (in the USA) on Wednesday afternoon. I would buy from this company again.

Rubbish, do not use.
ordered stainless steel bumpers, took payment then said on back order, month later email stating delayed due in two days time. two days later checked now due in 1 month time. 1 month later told delayed due in 2 days then suprise suprise order delayed another month.
then found out order not even shipped yet from main supplier so cant give any delivery time.
Dont lie and take money if you dont have items in stock!!!!

Ordered a part (sensor) for my jag. Both available and reasonably priced. Ordered at 1.30pm on Thursday and it was in my hand at 10.03 on Friday morning and I paid for standard delivery! What a service that is!! Thanks so much. Highly recommended:)

Ordered front rubber mats for my Freelander, sent front rubber mats for a Series 2/3. After asking them how to return they gave me a return number. Also asked about return payment and was told that it is not their policy to pay for returns. Rimmerbros expect me to pay for returning and insuring a large heavy box. I have been a long time customer of Rimmerbros but no longer.

Required set of glow plugs within a week, this useless company not only took the full payment but did not bother to inform me that the parts were on back order and would be another 2 weeks.

This is no way to run a sales company if you try to sell items that you don't own.

removed ( actually put a hold on it, might as well of removed as I couldn't touch it, a Pending account!) a very large amount of money from my account, without informing me, for a part that they didn't have in stock, possibly coming available in 4-5 months time, just to see if I had the funds available, took them a week to return it after pointing out the error of their way. Reported them to Visa fraud. Be very careful of your card details.

Ive used this company for years and never had any problems sent me a Defender front wing which was damaged in transit sent them pictures and was replaced within a week to Germany.i also had a set of carpets i puchased which because i was doing a resto i never opened for a year they did not fit once i told them they arranged shipping and i sent them back and they gave me the money back a company that does that does not deserve as bad reviews that are on here in my opinion

Disgusting service. Secondhand parts sent out as new. Waited weeks for this rubbish to arrive

What a shower this company is ordered a filter kit for my range rover same kit as I ordered the year before, it turns up with wrong fuel filter,,rang customer service, guy says "yes wrong filter in kit ,return filter for correct replacement " returned filter at my own expense then I get an email asking for £22 for another fuel filter and refunded me £6 (not quite sure what for ) , this is the second time I've had issues with this rabble I wouldn't buy a part for a toy car from this lot,,,avoid at all costs..

Regarding a faulty part a bad batch of bolts which sheared way under reccomended torque and items described as new which came unboxed with a lot of the power coat chipped off.
I got a very rude answer from the staff at Rimmers after making them aware.

Apparently I was wasting the guys time, and I was making them loose sales calls with my "problem" after explaing there is a parts issue.
In other words they are quite happy to take your money and take other people's money and that is more important than dealing with a customer who has already paid for an item that is either faulty or unsatisfactory, I'm now being passed from pillar to post.

Sent photos and a explanation of the issue as I was asked to do, had no reply about getting a returns number, tried again to be told no records of me calling or any correspondence, absolute tosh!
Over the years they've had plenty of money from me and I didn't really know who else to use for genuine or OE quality bits until recently, but let me tell you - this is the first time I have had an issue with them and I have seen the companies true colours.
More than happy to take your money but if you have a parts issue good luck. I don't know if it's always been this way and I've been lucky or something has happened with them, either way I can't reccomend using them anymore.
I noticed their Google reviews had gone way down and it would seem that recently I am not alone with other people having similar issues.
I can feel they are going to make life hell trying to get these items returned.
If you want rover parts use Dmgrs instead. These guys are cowboys!

I ordered a roof rack from Rimmer bro’s
They all in one unit I have ordered this product twice before over the decades.

I Recieved a parts kits. No roof bars. Days later he’s 36 inch requires arrive. Which are 1 foot too short for any vehicle and they will not refund my $208. This company are criminals and thieves and if you shop with them they will rip you off and not refund your money. My advice is to go elsewhere this company is pathetic and sad and I have to go to the route of getting my bank to refund my money because I shared them the invoice of what I bought pictures of what I bought and what they sent me is two different things and they don’t care this company and all their staff are sad. Run

Do not buy from Rimmer brothers in the UK they are thieves

Made enquiries about parts for my car. The guy who answered the phone seemed very reluctant to see whether they stocked the parts. Basically they do not answer queries concerning car parts over the phone. From what I can see from the other reviews they prefer you to order parts which more often than not are wrong and pay for them. No proper refund system thus feathering their nest!!!

Have been using this company for some time twice recently they have sent wrong parts (fitment) most recently they sent an incorrect fuel pump. when I called back, I was fob of with all sorts of excuses . Eventually they blamed their suppliers and said there was nothing they could do about it .. If you need something urgently seriously go elsewhere.

Wanted help with a gear knob for the R380 gearbox as originally I had put an aftermarket allen key secured knob on and had cut down the gear lever in my kit car but was never happy and ordered the correct 5-speed threaded aluminium knob but needed the thread size. Called Rimmer as they are supposed to be Rover V8 specialists but they were unable to help or even try apart from wanting to sell me a new knob! Then I tried them again because I wanted a V8 sump plug washer, ordered 4 and when they arrived they were too small. Called Rimmer didn’t ask to return but asked for the correct size. They said they needed a VIN number; as my car is a kit car the VIN number is irrelevant - wouldn’t recommend these to anyone!! Found my stuff on muddyboots4x4 straight away

I had been using this company for over 20 years throughout my carrier as a mechanic and now run my own garage. I ordered a fuel pump and it arrived but was incorrect so was unable to even attempt fitment. So phoned up and the person on the agreed they had supplied the wrong pump. Fair enough. So I returned the pump for refund as they were unable to supply correct one. Which I would of been happy to accept. Then I was told upon the return of the item it had been fitted and they were unable to give a refund. The pump was not fitted and returned without removing the blanking plugs. They stated that fuel was in it and it had been fitted. It definitely was not. After looking on companies house this company has charges against them so looks like they are in financial trouble. It pains me to have to leave this bad review but without wasting any more money and time I feel that I have been completely ripped off, and believe all the negative reviewers I read after my experience.

Horrible company, if you value your sanity you will never ever order a single part from this company. They will blame everything they possibly can on their incompetence. Ordered a terafirma 2" suspension kit from them a week goes by cannot for the life of me get any information for when it was going to even ship there website claimed at the time of my order that I would receive my order in a week and it hasn't even shipped in that same amount of time I have requested a refund now since my part has not even been pulled and still just says on status that web order received. I already have my old suspension torn down because I was expecting this part within a week now disco sitting in garage with no suspension and I will have to place order through another company and that will take a week to get to me from other reviews I have read seems like getting my refund will be an uphill battle as well, so will be contacting my bank do they can be involved in this fight as well hopefully this speeds my refund so I am not out 550.00 for to long. Horrible customer service, they only partially answer your concerns half the time cannot get through to them even during their supposed operating hours. My suggestion use Atlantic British or Rovers North for your range rover and land rover parts they are honest contact you as soon as any issues arise are very helpful and kind and responsive. Rimmer Bros just sting people along until they basically have no choice were but continue to deal with their lies and incompetence ad a company. Never ever again would I ever go through them even if they offered all there parts for a 1.00 not worth my time and frustration. Wish I would have read all there bad reviews sooner would have saved me all the pain and frustration.

Rimmer Brothers make the impossible possible. For all of those obsolete Rover parts, (other marques catered for too, MG, Jaguar, Triumph & Land Rover) you can normally find them at Rimmer Brothers. I'd been searching for a headlamp washer jet for my Rover 800, following a bump whilst my car was parked. Rimmer's spotted my cry for help on one of the forum pages and came to the rescue. My order arrived yesterday.......who would have thought a moulded plastic washer jet, could make someone so happy :-)

Orderd to front coils alonge with other stuff,,. Made plans with my mekanic.
They send only one coil and I orderd a pair and payed for a pair

Now my whole plan is fuckd.. I hate rimmerbros
