AVOID THIS SCAM! Customer service repeatedly told me to get lost!
I recently purchased a pool robot from this retailer and after a few weeks, I received a letter in the post from Parcelforce, explaining that my package was being held at customs and that I would need to pay £121.99 in customs charges to release it.
I made the retailer aware of this straight away, to which they explained that I would have to pay for the customs charges myself, but, promised to refund me as long as I provided them with proof of payment, which I did.
I have since made several attempts to email the retailer, asking them to process a refund for the custom charges, which they originally agreed to do through PayPal. After a week, they have ignored every email since and their telephone customer service has also hung up the phone on several occasions, as soon as I explain what it is I am calling for.
I do not believe this retailer has any intention of fulfilling their promise to refund me for the customs charges, and they are proving extremely difficult to contact. I have had to create a dispute with PayPal in order to receive the additional payment back as a refund.
AVOID THIS CON ARTIST OF A COMPANY!

This is total scam. They tried to charge me extra custom import duties promising to refund! It takes days to reply from what is called customer service. The delivery time is in weeks from the order! i will still need to get my refund back
Roboexpert Husqvarna battery…
I ahave been looking for a Husqvarna battery for a while. The BLi200 is out of stock in most places or is available for over £200.
I found roboexpert Selling them for 157£.
I ordered straight away. Then I looked here. This website scared the pants.
I panicked and called PayPal. They put on record that I had not received the item and that I required a refund.
I received the battery 5 working days after I ordered it. It came from Germany. I think that is impressive. I don't know if the paypal thing made any dif
erence. I don't normally leave reviews but I am more than pleased with robo.
Total Con Avoid this company
Order took 3 months, customer service was non existent and then they tried to charge us extra to get the item. It was rejected and were claiming off our credit card, this company is a total con avoid unless you want to be scammed!
Complete rip off
Complete rip off. Charged me and then said it needed to be shipped from Germany. Waited months only to then find out that it was stuck in customs with £140 to pay. Contacted them finally. The contact link on the website doesn't work and they don't answer the phone. They finally got back saying pay the import duty and we'll give it you back. I then read reviews saying they say this and never give you the money back. What a rip off and how they are allowed to trade I do not know. It says on their site they will pay the customs charges so should honour this or not do business in this country. Nowhere does it say when you order that you have to pay and they will reimburse you either. Horrendous business.

Box damaged, machine upside down
Whilst my mower did arrive in good time, the box was open and damaged. The mower was upside down in the box and one wheel had the cover removed. I don't believe it to be a new mower and if so why would you send a €1,700 plus machine in such an unsafe box!!!

This company is just horrifying and…
This company is just horrifying and shamefully deceitful. My husband ordered a hedge cutter with absolutely no indication from the website that it would be coming from Germany as the delivery time was 3 to 6 days. Needless to say this was not the case. Couldn't cancel it as it was in transit. Would have to return it at our own cost. It was then held hostage at customs at which point we had to pay another £54 to get it released and whilst they promised to refund this money 3 weeks later they have not. They don't answer phones and the emails seem very prescripted rather than actually answering specific questions. Do not purchase from them if you don't want to be ripped off.

Absolutely appalling service
Absolutely appalling service - goods eventually arrived and when they did we had to pay £54 in customs. We had to pay it and Roboexpert said they would reimburse. Had no response to our emails and no one answers the phone - still to date no reimbursement. Paul McGarty

utterly appalling - i ordered on 27th June - i heard nothing - i chased on 7th July and was told there was a stock issue but i would get my order shortly - nothing! - i chased again on 26th July (having been away on holiday) - i was told it would be despatched by the end of the month - so today i gave up and demanded my money back - luckily i had used Paypal. They must be the worst company i have ever dealt with and frankly they don't care less - i am astonished they are still in business
You wanna buy from Roboexpert.. I say No No No!
Yesterday, I made the mistake of ordering from Roboexpert before reading the appalling reviews. I bought some Stihl equipment, taken in by the very low pricing and paid through PayPal...Then I checked the reviews...OMG! So I completed their Withdrawal / Reimbursement form and sent it email. First thing today my money was paid straight back into Paypal! Phew! So - In terms of my experience I have to give 5 stars. I got my money back instantly. But from reading the same negative mantra from so many people, I think that the company should be the subject matter of BBC's Watchdog programme because how they conduct business does smack of 'sharp practice'. For myself - I can only speak as I find though and I've taught myself the old lesson...If something seems too good to be true, then it probably is. I'll check the reviews first next time.
Overseas stock result in huge delays and additional costs - more clarity required
The website is not clear whether stock is within the UK or overseas - if it’s overseas it will take longer and cost you much more than advertised.
My item (lawnmower) came from Germany and as a result was held in customs. After much chasing I finally received it (3 weeks later) having to pay the customs charge myself.
Now, after two months I’m still waiting for the customs charge to be refunded (£60).

Waiting for my money
Order a robotmower that appear to be in stock. After a few days, customer support confirm that it's not. I asked them to cancel my order, and now, I'm waiting for my refund for a month. Customer support doesn't respond to my mails. Don't buy on this Platform! Poor service.

A terrible company to deal with
I ordered a Dolphin E20 from what I thought was a U.K. firm. The money was taken from my credit card immediately and two days later I received an email saying they were out of stock and had cancelled my order and my card would be refunded in 10 - 14 working days . This date has been and gone and still no sign of the money. Like other reviewers when you phone you are told you are number one in the queue but no one ever answers and likewise they are ignoring my emails. Early on I did get one email asking me to be patient as they were very busy, the only problem was it was written in German and I had to spend an hour on my iPad translating it. I have bought another model from an approved dealer in the U.K. and now look like I will have a long wait to get my £1059.00 back. Don’t touch them with a barge pole. I am also going to email Maytronics in USA who make the Dolphin range in the hope that they will stop allowing this bunch of cowboys to sell their products.
Possibly a scam, certainly an awful experience
As others have said, they appear to be a UK company, but after payment you will receive a message saying that the mower could be shipped from their warehouse in EU. Inevitably it will be held up in customs, which will ask you to pay duties. When you refuse to pay these, it’s returned to the company, which will sit on your money for months before making a refund. Three months later you’ll have no mower, no money, and higher blood pressure.

I wish I looked at how bad this company are, I ordered a Dolphin E20 on the 12th of June, they have not responded to 4 emails I have sent them and the 08003762991 just tells you are number 1 in the Que, averaging holding time 30 minuets NO one picks up. OFF to the credit card company to get my money back. My advise keep you money in your pocket.
