Large freestanding solar system + batteries for the Meadows household installed without any major problems by Rural &Country. Chose them just from regular flyers / general knowledge that they were local to us. Happy with the system which has been maintenance free and is providing all the power we need + more.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Never reply to emails, never want to call to discuss. Fitted my heatpump wrong and 6 months down the line still not resolved despite numerous chasing attempts by me and visits by them. Lack of knowledge around eg water needs of the house- system is inadequate for the house and family needs due to very low pressure- this was not highlighted before fitting and now need to pay for additonal mains pump to resolve issue. They could improve by being more open and honest with customers and accepting when thigns have gone wrong. When they have idenitified issues it should be their priority to resolve these not leave it to the customer to constantly chase. Avoid at all costs.

Very good initial survey of my detached house and clear answers to my many questions when considering changing to an Air Source Heat Pump (from oil) and upgrading the existing photovoltaic system to include storage batteries.
The engineers who installed the recommended system were all very professional, careful and helpful with answers to my further questions.
As the new system is quite technical I would have appreciated a further visit after, say, a month to help resolve a number of questions rather than resorting to trying to find the answers from multiple YouTube videos.
The system has been running very successfully for a year now.

Rural and Country have recently installed solar panels for my property. My cottage certainly has its quirks, but they worked with them and have done a superb job. The standard of workmanship is excellent. They are a lovely professional company and a pleasure to deal. My property was surveyed, the job was booked in and works carried out to schedule. I recently conducted extensive work to upgrade a rural house from oil to Ground source Heat Pump, along with significant solar panel installation and batteries.
Rural and Country were excellent from design (thank you Mike Lowes) to installation (thank you Alan and team). The work was conducted on schedule to budget and has delivered exactly as promised. My energy savings have been significant against oil, and the systems run cleanly and reliably. A massive improvement

Rural and Country installed our Solar and Battery Storage System in Feb24. I don't like reviewing Companies in the short term as it doesn't take into account reliability. The experience at the time was very professional and they worked around us well. We have had no issues since and are very happy with the efficiency of the System. We've saved a lot of money on energy in the last 12 mths and it's always nice to get a warm and fuzzy about doing our bit for the environment.

Did a professional and tidy job installing solar panels in my new build property, also serviced my heat pump and will have them back when it needs servicing again.

A helpful and knowledgeable technical team. They went the extra mile at our solar panel installation, to make considerate internal and external electrical work for a building over 200 years old.

A neighbour recommended Rural and Country after they did a large solar installation for him. He's very particular, so I figured if they passed his due diligence, they'd be OK. But they were fantastic at every stage. From the first consultation at my home - very helpful and professional. Their quote was marginally more than alternatives. But that was partly because I refused to have Chinese made solar-panels. They sourced alternatives. I made the right decision. Then the guy who came to measure up - so thorough. Very impressed. The installation itself was faultless. Interacting with the office was always helpful. After installation, we had a technical glitch with the new app they were using which required a couple of visits by a technician. Nothing was too much trouble. They really were a pleasure to deal with. This type of attitude is sadly missing among a growing number of companies - Rural and Country took great care of me as a customer. Thank you so much.

We wanted to change from oil heating and after receiving a flyer from Rural and Country we went ahead with their air source heat pumps. They gave us great advice throughout and their team of fitters were prompt, efficient and helpful and used our existing pipework. The system is working really well in conjunction with our existing solar panels and we are delighted with the work and their ongoing support.
