Dealt with this company for over 10 years on fitting 4 properties with both solar and heat pumps including one factory with 45 ova solar array. Always a pleasure , have good engineers and unlike most in the Trade , always still there and not gone bust to sort out any minor warranty or other problems ( promptly ) when we ask. Worthy of a 5 star

Our air source heat pump was installed by Rural and Country a year ago and we're very pleased with it - it works well and keeps us warm.The installing team were very efficient and also pleasant.

I have had an air source heat pump installed by Rural and Country since late 2022. The fitting team were fantastic, especially Cemlyn the plumber. We also had a battery installed in early 2023, again Craig the electrician was very good. All the staff at Rural and Country and have been helpful, professional and responsive throughout this time including more recently assisting us with aftercare requirements. The Mitsubishi heat pump is an excellent product and has been a very reliable system so far meaning we are warm 24/7 whilst reducing our carbon footprint compared to a gas system.

Very pleased with the service. We have had our Ground Source Heating for 6 years and had an issue on Christmas Eve Morning. A quick Response via face time with Lee and our local electrician meant we got our heating back on and we a very warm and cosy Christmas.

We chose Rural and Country by chance through a flyer that was delivered.
The team that did the installation did a fantastic job and all the pipework was incredible. They have their own plumbing and electrician departments too so all the work is inhouse. We had a couple of early glitches but sorted out immediately. The system has also recently been serviced by their service engineer, again faultless and lots of advice. The house is a lot warmer now than it was before we had this system.

We have today had our air source heat pump service by Rural and Country. We wish to show our appreciation of the work carried out by Craig.
What an asset he is to the company. The meticulous way he went about the service was exemplary.
And all in a polite and friendly way including patiently answering our many questions. A true ambassador to the company.

Despite me contacting them several times about a bill discrepancy, they have failed to correspond with me! Instead, they have continued to send me threatening letters. No one will call me back or answer my e-mails as to why I have been overcharged.
Unfortunately I have been left with no choice but to pay the inflated bill under the threat of debt-collectors and fear of a ccj. Still no explanation.

This company has been first rate from the original quotation process, right through installation, system set up and after sales service.
We purchased from Rural and Country an air source heat pump,an iboost and two storage batteries, linked to solar panels which had been previously installed by a different company. The whole integrated system is now working extremely well.
All the staff have always been efficient, responsive and friendly to deal with, whether on the phone in the office or the engineers on site.
We cannot praise Rural and Country too highly and strongly recommend them to others.

Rural and Country have been such a good company to work with as we have had a heat pump and batteries (with some new radiators) fitted. We already had solar panels. They have been responsive, helpful, informative and supportive throughout this transition from oil fired central heating. Over the last 24 hours I cannot fault Tia who has held my hand as I have struggled with understanding how to use the App to track usage, how to set and change battery charging times and getting the App on my phone in the first instance. She has gone above and beyond what I expected. What excellent friendly service helping technologically challenged elders! Thank you Tia

This company have installed an Air Source heat pump for us and they were fantastic. All the engineers, electricians, plumbers and office staff were first class. Polite, clean, careful, considerate, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely appalling… never return calls. Disaster of an instal. They cut off pipes to my hot and cold water and left them uncapped in a ceiling with no feed back to my kitchen! Never even told me what they done. Asked numerous times for updates.

Put their claim in for the £7500 rebate without having finished the work!

In addition to this, when challenged and I complained, the owner ( check him out on companies house ) was rude and threatened to attack me and 'come deal with me'. A thoroughly obnoxious individual. I see he has also replied with a complete pack of lies to try and justify his position.

I advise anyone to read other reviews as you will see that others who have complained have also received threats and abuse from the 'owner' of the business. I would imagine if any of his staff are upset its because they work for such an idiotic company run by a bunch of fools who steal peoples money and dont deliver!

I have contacted OFGEM and have been advised that they will be looking into their status as a supplier in this scheme as they have fraudulently claimed to OFGEM that they have already commissioned the system!

First and foremost it was the most competitive and comprehensive quote out of four solar PV businesses I investigated. Throughout the process I felt fully informed and I got simple and straightforward answers to all my questions. I was slightly nervous about using a business based 100 miles away but then found the directly employed electrician who wired up the installation lived in the next village!
There was a bit of a glitch over the scaffolding set up dates, but the admin team sorted it out promptly and efficiently. It's easy to '5 Star' a business when it all goes to plan. How an organisation deals with problems is the mark of a good business.

Thank you to the Rural & Country team for working with me to get the right ASHP and Solar System installed at our house. It took a while to get all the permissions in place for the Grade II Listed Property from my end, but the result is fantastic. R&C were very responsive and adaptive to changes to scheduling.
I recommend that the team provide more detailed guidance to the user on how to use the weather compensation mode (flow temperature) for the ASHP, as a culture change for us away from the room thermostat mode was needed to get the efficiency benefits.

We had our heat pump fitted over a year ago and since completion of the works we have been very happy with the system and its ability to comfortably heat our house. It is a quiet, efficient system.
The team who installed the system were fantastic, especially Sam and Harry. They communicated extremely well and were friendly throughout, nothing was too much trouble and we couldn't fault their workmanship. We were also very happy to have one of the Company Directors, Richard, as a point of contact throughout. He was always very helpful if we had any queries or issues and always responded very quickly to sort things out for us.
Overall we would certainly recommend the company for carrying out the installation to a high standard.

Rural & Country have gone over and above for us with their customer service and attentiveness.
We are extremely lucky to have them on board as our ground source engineers.

Chris is our regular engineer, his knowledge and the way he conducts himself is exemplary.

Air Source Heat Pump and Thermal Store were fitted by a friendly, trustworthy and capable crew who made light of some tricky house logistics, while the office staff replied to all queries promptly. Price was good, no new rads were needed, the old oil boiler was removed and the system was delivered as expected. Would recommend.

Rural and Country installed a replacement for our aging Ground Source Heat Pump as well as upgrades to the heating and domestic hot water system and ongoing servicing.
The company has been excellent throughout led by Mike Lowe supported by Alan Hughes; Martin; Dan; Craig Lowe and the ever obliging office staff. The employees involved were always polite throughout the project. Works were completed on time and within budget all to a high standard.
Their post installation support has been second to none; we can thoroughly recommend Rural and Country.

Had an Air Source Heat Pump installed July 2022. Discovered in December 2022 during the cold weather that the heat pump could only get the house (new build) to 15 degrees inside when running at maximum. After investigating with third parties we discovered that their heat calculations were hugely incorrect (which we weren’t even shown prior to the install) and that our radiators are undersized enormously even though their advice was “not to change the radiators” when we ordered from them. Had to go to NAPIT and HIES for two or three months in order to get them to replace some radiators. Eventually got it corrected but the service received from Lee was absolutely appalling. The rest of the team are fantastic and a credit to their terrible boss. Originally would have given them one star but due to great team of installers they have and how helpful they are, I’ve given them two. Please ensure you check every calculation they have before confirming to place an order. Save yourself the pain! (I also expect a rude response from Mike on this as looking at the other reviews he seems be just as polite as Lee).

I contacted Rural and Country to make a tentative enquiry about solar panels. They did a survey which was very helpful and informative and answered all the questions we had. Crucially though they came up with a combined solution for solar panels and heat pumps which made it much more attractive. They successfully managed the planning permission process for me and once received the installation was mobilised quickly. The team on site were fantastic - it was a complex project and they worked together with myself and support back at the office to find solutions for some of the practical issues that arose. The end result was better than I had hoped for - their flexibility, technical knowledge, commitment on site, and handover process was superb. I am very appreciative that something so complex has gone so smoothly. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
