Own a RK19 mower and have been trying to get front lift for my tractor. Left name and number at Mattoon Rural King about what I needed to which I recieved no call back. Called the Mattoon store and could not find anyone knowledgeable enough to answer my concerns or find my part. So I contacted the Vandelia Rural King store since they are tractor store. Not to my surprise they were less help than Mattoon store. If and when I find someone to help with obtaining the needed part, I will no longer shop or purchase from any Rural King store. I now have a RK19 mower tractor that I cannot use. Oh I also contacted corporate office and got zero response. I guess the after purchase assistance is none existant.

They cancelled my order without notification yet what I ordered shows as being in stock. What a joke of a company. Never again.

Purchased a pool kit and the filter was defective out of the box. With my daughter being in and out of the hospital, I thought that they would give me an exception with my claim being 34 days past the date of purchase, but they were very rude and will not make any exceptions to their 30 day policy. Really quite sad that they have bad customer service and bad morals. Guess I know where I will not be going to anything in the future.

Ordered item from corporate with the help of an associate on 4/13, who placed the order for me. Received email showing order number and date. Called last week (5/18) and was told that there was a glitch in the manuf's system, and order NEVER submitted. I called manuf and was told the glitch was in Rural King's system. Called again today and spoke with another useless person (supervisor) who looked and said that she received request by the person on 5/18 to cancel the order!!!! I NEVER requested the order to be cancelled. Supervisor said that I would just have to reorder myself on line again. Tried to tell me that associate probably hit the wrong button when requesting supervisor update. I think it was done on purpose. supervisor said it would not delay shipment from manuf if I just reorder. How could it not delay, as it was supposed yo to arrive last week?? Thoroughly fed up with their BS!!!

The Van Wert Rural King has always had shoddy management at best. Lately the price on the shelf,(if there IS a price), is lower than at the register. Expired sale signs are not removed, and the price is not honored at the register. Service at this store is almost non-existent, and the store overall is a mess

Just bought a Bad Boy Maverick 54" mower. Used it 7 hours and noticed gas was getting in the oil. Took it back today and will wait to see what they say. I really want them to give me another Maverick, but we will have to wait and see. Worried if the engine has this kind of problem, are there other problems with the mower. Absolutely loved this mower. Best I ever mowed with. Now to get something done about the engine.

I bought 6 Buff Brahma chicks Saturday May 6, 2023. 2 died on Sunday May 7, another died on Monday May 8. I have not contacted Rural King today. I'll update my review after I call tomorrow. I have shopped here before & was very pleased, which is why I came back as a repeat customer. This was my first time buying livestock.

This store is a great shopping place except if you're spouse works here don't expect them to stay faithful.
Workers will have a whole family at home and cheat with a co worker while on the work place. If you ask me a work place should be for work not a dating or cheaters club. Even worse it's the hr and managers sleeping together. I think OSHA should be called in it's against RK rules to have couples working the same shift but let's co workers that sleep together on the job. That's how family's breakup. Even worse I feel bad for the ones who has children at home..

If I didn’t have to even give them a star I wouldn’t!! They lost customers today and will loose more for the way they treated us today! We was at the Beckley WV store. We are tax exempt and they can’t honor our tax exempt when we was approved and I have been fighting with them for months now over it. Has cashiers that can’t even do their jobs and loves to get smart with customers and roll eyes and shush us! We had 2 carts full of probably over $500 or more and they got left at the customer service. The manager that we talked to was very rude and not helpful tonight. The customer service lady was really rude and I would fire her the cashier and the manager and get people that can do their job. We was planning on going back in a week and spend alot more money not now!! This is a very big disappointment after us driving a hour to the nearest store!!!

I love the Rural King ! However at the Rural King in lake Wales fl they have a lead that name is Ashley who is disrespectful to seniors and customers !! I watched this with my mother and am not sure if I will ever shop there again !! They have shopped here many times and love this store , however they may not come back with this girls attitude

Love this store! It's where I get cracked corn, bird seed and peanuts for my outdoor animals. Managed to get some great Christmas presents an amazing price.

Waited in line to ask a question about a gun to see if they had any in stock.
A woman/man not sure what it was came over from the other side of the store and told me I would have to sign in a logbook after waiting 10-15 minutes in line already.
Keep in mind there was 10 other people behind me and they all immediately jumped in front of me in the log book as no one knew this was needed.
Had this man/woman whatever it was been doing its job instead of walking around the store and blabbing about God knows what else been behind the counter and doing its job in the first place no confusion would of ever happened. Instead it left 1 man behind the counter to deal with all the customers in the gun section.
Not to mention it didn't assist me in my question I wanted to ask, just told me I needed to sign in a logbook when I was the next person to be seen in line...
Real professional I tell you!
I will not be taking my business back here and suggest you don't either!
You lost my business and I'm sure you'll lose many others.
Shame on you Rural King, should of hired much better QUALIFIED people for this job!

Absolutely terrible customer service. I ordered a Glock from them but accidentally hit an order for two. Saw my mistake immediately and phoned them. They said they couldn't amend the order but would cancel it and i could reorder. Fair enough. Order was canceled almost immediately. I went to reorder, one gun, the price had gone up over $100 in the two minutes it took me to put in my new order. I contacted them and they said they would look into it. Got this response to my first three emails and then they simply stopped replying and ignored all my remaining emails. DO NOT SHOP HERE IS MY ADVICE

The rural king,in Morganton NC.The gun barn,is a joke.One person working,the counter.And has No,idea what is going on.Wasted 2 hours this week,standing and waiting.While this lady,shared stories with another customer.One of the mangers,told me a flat out lie last week.Should have not went back.And Will never go in rural king again.

Ordered drexel herbicide. Received some other brand. Called to tell them they shipped wrong product. Was told it said they may substitute brands. Said I could return it but I would pay shipping. Looked at site and couldn't find that claim anywhere. If it's there, it's well hidden. No customer service at this company. It was obvious they don't care. This was last order they'll ever get from me.

I had ordered a hog feeder. It came with missing parts. I tried for weeks and weeks to contact them, they finally replied a month later. They said they would get me the parts and wanted my phone number to make sure I got exactly what I was missing. After that no more replies to my emails, nor my phone calls. I now have a hog feeder that I payed 200 bucks for that can't be used. I honestly just gave up with them. Very, VERY disappointed in them and will never order from them again.

will never purchase from again, placed order waited 28 days called constantly for updates they blame everyone else, canceled order , ordered same item from Buds, got it in 2 days and for 70$ cheaper, FCK rural king. trash kentucky inbreds

Had to contact support 2x times to get refund for online order !
Could you explain why my refund was only $69.11 ?

Item was $89.41and return shipping was $58.74 paid by me.

Up to 20% restocking fee would have been $71.53, so still short.

So I’ve lost $79.04 total by doing business with Rural King and tire was wrong size. Never again !

Rural King bib overalls should be recalled with full refunds offered. Three paid bought, 3 pairs had fabric rip an inch from the side seam from waist to knee. Fabric is simply rotten. Rips like they are made of paper towels instead of denim.
