Called ruralking Sweetwater Tn customer service needing 72 jugs of 24d.Girl in customer service said they had it and I told her it would take an hour to get there and I would take it.When I got to rural king customer service desk to pay for it she said there was a limit of 2 jugs.They wasted my time and fuel.Wish I could rate them lower than one star!

This is the worst store I’ve ever dealt with. It takes an hour to get anyone to help you. It takes 20-30 minutes to get them to answer the phone. They show that they have things online that they never have in store. The employees stockpile ammo and other things for themselves only. They try and sell you things you don’t want or need. Not to mention that they violate constitutional rights like they own the United States government. The make up they’re own rules and policies to follow, which violate federal and local laws. I would not recommend them for anything. There are much better places to shop at, unless you like being lied to.

Horrible place to shop. Ordered tiller online, called to confirm pickup time twice, was told both times all was well.
Got there at time quoted only to find out not only did they NOT have the tiller, customer service girls had lied on the phone - they had never checked availability with their assembly crew! Wasted 3 hours driving to and from store in Huntsville and $30 gas.
Bunch of irresponsible liars, avoid at all costs! They also refused to post my honest review on their website. Said it wasn’t “helpful!”

I went to buy a winter hat and gloves. They had a solid assortment and I made both purchases. My only complaint is that they had 2 places where they had hats and gloves with no sign saying “we have more in isle ___. I deselected the gloves and one hat after finding the second location.

They doubled the price of shipping on me after I put in my creditcard info and hit submit. I contacted them and they agreed this was a mistake but never refunded me the money (it was a heavy package so the shipping was heavy too...so imaging paying double). They also never sent me a confirmation email with my order number or the summary of my purchase.

Love this bunch of blatant hypocrites. Blasting religious music in the store that gives everyone a headache.
But like all greedy "christians" they are OPEN ON SUNDAYS 7am-9pm for your SUNDAY shopping convenience. LOL - GREEDY bigots and hypocrites.

I would of rated no stars if it was an option. I ordered 2 25 lb of raw in shell peanuts. They were terrible, moths and worms were horrendous. I have purchased 25lb bags of peanut for years, this is the first time I have ordered Rural King and the last! Not only worms and moths but so many empty shells and really small. What a waste of money! You should be ashamed of selling junk peanuts.

Royal King in the past has been one of my favorite places to shop the prices seem to be lower then other places the problem is they sell lots of defective stuff and equipment and are not willing to help you out replacing them I have bought defective axle grease that was watered down . I have bought defective fencing I have bought defective tires and trailer wheels which Bend and do not carry the load and also responsible for the wheel bearings burning out. It cost me over $1,300 to put a new axle on my trailer .Just be aware the cheaper price is not always the way to go Tractor Supply Services me if I have a problem with anything in which case only one problem over the past 10 years. Royal king every other thing I bought there I tried to return and they tell me with attitude that they aren't going to help me out. One time that I purchased a culture Vader rototiller they did help me out when I bought a rototiller the pulley came flying off it . was just a key. They had a replaced, but charged me for the key. And I fixed the problem myself rather than return it and not get a full refund that happened the first five minutes I started it up and used it. Royal king needs to take care of their customers a little better lot of things come from overseas and are assembled so quickly that it's all about seals and not having equipment lasting thank you.

Loss prevention is trained to bother customers.
My GF and I went to RK and anytime we got near a store phone, it would ring once. I guess loss prevention does that to alert a "suspicious customer" that we are watching you. We went in to get some lawn fertilizer and look around. This was when it was warm out and my GF had tight shorts on and a tank. She didn't have her purse on her, either, I had shorts on and a t-shirt. I have a disposable income and have no reason to shoplift. I realize the Circleville, OH area has a drug problem, but don't run off your customers trying to shop.

I ordered a gun online that their site claimed was in stock, a day after I ordered the gun they emailed me and told me they need me to have my FFL send his info over to them, so I immediately had my FFL send his info over a couple hours later, the next day they email me and told me they cancelled my order because they no longer have the gun I paid for in stock.

Seriously screw this company, I hope they go out of business. We need better companies than this in America.

During this pandemic one would think a business would be up to speed with online ordering. NOT RURAL KING. You would think they are still living in the “dial up” age of technology. There is a ton of room for improvement in their technology department...if they have one.

don't waste ur time customer service is rude there products suck oh and because you have a 1 ft by 1 ft Calvin Klein purse on you they will treat you as a criminal i asked why I was being followed they told me because of my purse...

Management lied to corporate office, stated that my voicemail was full. My mower under warranty took 3 months to fix!!!!!

Ordered an item that was in stock. After3 weeks not shipped. After many emails telling me covid causing delays got email saying order cancelled with no reason. Emailed again. Told me that item was on backorder. Tried calling and waited on phone for an hour till phone died. Have tried to call and wait time is always long. This company must have more problems than they know about themselves. Don't use covid 19 as a crutch.

Ordered 2 skidder tongs..... came quick... only got one..got pictures to show... filed a claim..... got an email saying they show they sent 2 and would look into it... i sent more email following up.... no answer... filed paypal claim.... no answer to that.... Im done trying to be nice.... Im done trying to be patient... i am about to file suit and waste as much money of yours as i can. just getting you into court will cost you much more than the 30 dollar tongs... i hope you are listening because its obvious that your customer service is not.

Don't shop online for black Friday deals! I ordered two pairs of bib coveralls. I entered my payment information and my shopping cart went blank. I tried it again and same thing happened. I figured that something was wrong with their website and decided to place my order from Dic ks Sporting Goods. I had never received an email confirmation or order number from Rural King . A few days later I checked my credit card and had a pending charge for two orders. I called customer service to cancel the orders. I was told their website had crashed. One order was able to be cancelled. The other one had already shipped. The pending charged disappeared on my charge card. I tried to return the order at a store when I received the package. They could not even find the order in the system so I was unable to return it at that time. I received an email December 31, saying my order had shipped. I had to ask for the order #. (No package was shipped Dec. 31, I had already received the package well before then but was unable to return it because it could not be found in the computer). On January 9 I went to the store to return the items after having received the email Dec. 31 and my charge card being charged Jan. 1. They had to call corporate office because the item was only ringing up $19 each! I paid $90 and change for both items! Since it had been more than 30 days, they had to call the corporate office. Corporate told them to give me the sale price!! Even though I was charged $90! There was no way I would have left the items there for $19 a piece. It was their dam fault because I had tried to return the item as soon as I got it but they couldn't find the order number. The manager of the store did the right thing. Returned the item for $75 and gave me a $10 gift card, but I was still short changed $5 and some change. I will never order online from them again. I will make sure I tell my friends.

I purchased a garage heater that was advertised on line in several places. I tried rural king because it had the best price by far. Shipping was fast and free. It arrived when they said it would.
Great experience!

I bought 2 LED shop lights from Rural King online and 1 was defective. I contacted their return department the same day. 2 weeks later I still have not received my return authorization.Their return department is the worst I have ever seen. When I call all I get is a run around. I will never buy from them again. I will stay with Walmart and Amazon. They honor the warranty on what they sell. Rural king is a RIP-OFF. Their website says easy returns. This is not the case. Lets see. Sell a defective product with no warranty and keep my money.Looks like a RIPOFF to me.

Rural King is a great store. They have some really amazing prices, especially on guns, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly here. Unlike a lot of big box stores the employees at RK actually seem like they enjoy working there and will go out of their way to help you. I am continually impressed with the staff in the Gun Barn because they really seem to care about what they are doing to help support the second amendment & assist people in finding the right gun. Great selection of home & farm stuff here and even a bunch of pet supplies as well.
