Ryanair car park scam

We booked our car park with Ryanair for the lenght of our trip from Stansted airport. On the departure day, looked up which adress to put in the sat-nav for the car park. Could not found any confirmation email neither inbox neither spams. The Ryanair phone app did not respond when pressing the carpark box. So the overall feeling is to have been robbed these £60 paid to Ryanair and the overall advise is do not book your car park with them!

Did not receive confirmation email or…

Did not receive confirmation email or joining details. They have taken the money but will not help to get the information needed to make use of the car park.

I have seen others on here refer to it as a scam… hard to disagree with them.

Scam - avoid

Paid for Stansted airport parking with Ryanair; checked for details of where to park the night before we travel - low and behold, there are no details available and Ryanair have washed their hands of it. We have had to pay for proper airport parking on top of losing our money to Ryanair. I am so upset.

Bristol Airport

Appalling, they were late with both pickup including having us to wait 1h 40min on arrival, not to mention they disconnected my in car camera, the car smelt bad and full of mud in the drivers seating, do not use this service I wish there was a 0 star option.

We called them at the correct time but waited an extra 30min for them to arrive on drop off and 1hr 40min on arrival. What really upset me was the continuous lying. I have a nice car which has a tracker and after them blaming traffic (nothing on google maps) they didn't move my car for over an hour while we waited. Bare in mind you pay a premium for the collection and drop off and we surely didn't expect the car to be returned with such a stench and full of mud with the camera disconnected.

While frustrated we were in no way rude but the man receiving the phone calls was incredibly rude when we asked for an update.

You pay for a premium service but you receive inconvenience rudeness and VERY questionable care of your car.

Hands down the worst service. Avoid!

Hands down the worst service I have ever used. We paid months in advance and still paid as much as onsite parking. What an embarrassment.

This is not custom service. Drop off was appalling and slow. Total chaos in the airport car park. We had to pay car park charges for them before they would take our car to their car park!

This is not the concierge service that operates at Gatwick or Heathrow. We have just been told it could be another 45 mins before our car is dropped to where we have been told to wait despite us notifying the operators as per their own instructions.

Avoid, avoid, avoid, unless you fancy wasting hours at drop up and pick up after paying top rates to have a high quality service.

We stood outside for well over 30 mins, an could see all of their drivers here waiting in people's car, one guy was eating a sandwich and another is sleeping in one of the cars - one has been sat for the now 30 minutes we have been waiting in a car, keeping it on. He is picking his nose and touching their steering wheel!! Unbelievable.

We will never use this service again and I will tell everyone I know about this horrific experience.

Paid Ryan Air, no voucher.

Exactly the same as Anthony. Booked a car space via Ryan Air. Money taken, no car park voucher received. "Third party problem", third party have not received order from Ryan Air. Surely there must be someone to complain to? This is theft.

Ryanair parking - scam.

Complete scam .. booked parking via Ryanair website ... £60 ... no correspondence .. contacted Ryanair .. they state that not their issue due to using 3rd party providers (utter tosh as the still have accountability under consumer law) .. have contacted Parkvie - no response as yet, contacted Looking4parking ... they have not taken bookings for Ryan air since 18th June 2017 according to online chat. Luckily I booked using PayPal so I'll let them get my money back ... Ryanair should be held to account over this fraudulent activity.

Unable to change vehicle details or…

Unable to change vehicle details or cancel parking booked through Ryanair. This is certainly not explained sufficiently at point of booking because if it had been, who would gamble on flights not being cancelled, vehicle problems or any other reason not to travel. Be warned, do not be convinced by the apparent ease of all your bookings in one place with Ryanair. Book your car parking direct with the airport and have the peace of mind of a flexible, professional contract with a decent reputable company.

This company are DIABOLICAL and are a scam!

This is DIABOLICAL! Booked a flight four days ago via Ryanair’s app including parking. Haven’t received any confirmation of which car park I’m allegedly booked in, RyanAir say it’s with the Third Party who conveniently only operate Mon-Fri and their lines are closed, at which point my flight is due in the early hours. Their refund policy is dubious and RyanAir simply say it’s the responsibility of the third party provider to confirm the parking and they’ve “done their bit”.

I wish I’d seen these reviews and realised this is who RyanAir book with. ATROCIOUS! Avoid as you will definitely lose your money, same as all the other reviews. Just go direct and save yourself the hassle.

SCAM - Same as the other reviews

Same as the other reviews. Booked parking via Ryan Air then never received any confirmation. Parking company at airport wont deal with me and Ryan Air wont talk to me either. Each saying the other is responsible. So £78 out of pocket. Consumer rights are clear this is Ryan Airs responsibility because they took my money. Seriously concerning that all of us have this experience and nothing being done about this.

Shocker

Shocker. No confirmation of money paid for parking (£70). Customer service say it’s nothing to do with them, they are just advertising. No contact from parking company. Many calls made and getting nowhere. Avoid!

Parking voucher didn't come in time

As I see with other reviews, I booked parking through RyanAir and did not receive the voucher in time-- it just came through today 4 days AFTER my flight. Trying to get a refund is proving very challenging and wasting a lot of time. I am not asking my credit card company to get involved to cancel the purchase. Just book yourself online for airport parking!!

Ryanair parking is the biggest scam.
Be aware of this I book my parking through Ryanair with standard Airport parking.
The Parking provider want you to go directly to them rather than booking from third-party companies. If you book through Ryanair, they’re not going to change date or cancel your booking so it’s your lost if you do.
I would never book any parking directly from Stansted Airport, due to shaking hand with Ryanair to scam customers and i trust any other extra option with Ryanair when I’m
booking my flights.
I have to forget about this parking booking then rebook with another company which is last of £58.

Booked airport parking through Ryanair…

Booked airport parking through Ryanair and haven’t received the confirmation email. Trying to get Ryanair to resolve this is proving impossible and to make matters worse the payment which has already gone through is non-refundable. Customer services at Ryanair is non existent and they will get back to me “within 3 working days” and I am supposed to be travelling tomorrow. These clowns should be avoided at all cost!!!

just avoid book it yourself!

just avoid! i made a booking o ryanair site after check in and paid the fee for a meet and greet, turned up next day and no booking at leeds meet and great made, lookingforparking are trying to blame on the beach for this even though on the beach had nothing todo with the car parking i booked direct on ryanair site while logged into my account, there claiming incorrect details passed on from on the beach as they using a booking email thats not yours............ just avoid lesson learned never book with them or fly ryan air again

Not cool!!!! Had to ring some random guy(who’s number I found purely by accident) at 6am. Had to pay £5 on top of the £109 for short stay car park at drop off AND pick up!! It’s definitely NOT meet and greet as I had to wait 30min for the car to be brought back to me and on top of that,the car was full of muddy footprints when I got it back! And I mean really muddy!!! The guys were friendly enough but the whole thing seems rather dodgy!
