Item was of poor quality, the measurements were incorrect and there for did no fit my husband. Was unable to return it as it needs to be returned to China which would have cost me £90+ for an item that cost me £50!!!
Totally scam!!

Like others I ordered a Peaky Blinders coat. It stinks of diesel, is to small and looks nothing like what is advertised. I have asked for a return label but have had no response. Is this is a scam company? Does anyone know how to contact the relevant government authority to investigate this company? John Hughes

Ordered the Harvey two piece. Tried to cancel less then two minutes later and was told this isn't possible and then waited weeks for it to arrive to be treated with a coat that looked different from the picture colour was dull and quality poor. And then when trying to return it..... no response. Absolutely avoid this scam company. DO NOT USE THEM.

This could have been a 5 stars review. The size of the product is not good, but the description and quality reflect the price (cheap, but not so bed).
Why one star?

1- they call them Sam-wear.co.uk London. This makes think that the business is in uk while is in real achinese company. Customer service never answer during the day but night time.

2 - they promised me next working day delivery. Ordered a jacket 9th November, and delivery date was 11th of December. It reached the 26th.

I ordered a jacket as I wanted one and 11 November sounded pretty reasonable. When it delayed I contacted customer service to clarify and realized product comes from China and could take up to 3 weeks to reach. When I wanted to cancel they said is not possible and they offered me 10% discount or refund for return, but shipping at my own cost.

If I knew the shipping was 3 weeks I would not have ordered and not incur in any unwanted expenses, but with them claiming next day delivery I have been misleads to purchase and accept the cost of it.

Be aware, the product might be real, but the information is not. While waiting for their jacket I found a better one in shop and now I just paid for an unwanted product.

Absolutely appalling and avoid at all costs. A men's large would barely fit a 12 year old boy and once you get the order you get no response to emails. The quality is also appalling

Wish I'd read these reviews first. Ordered a jacket almost 4 weeks ago and still no sign of it!!!! They just keep telling me it's in transit. I won't hold my breath, am currently in the process of getting a refund from my credit card.

Not even worthy of 1 star!! Absolutely shocking company!! DO NOT BUY! I bought a coat and shirt in sizes large they were delivered after 3 1/2 weeks and although they say L on the tags they are more like a small. The coat has damage to the hood and there are loose threads throughout. The quality is awful. Really cheap material. I spent £89. I contacted the company who said I could return at my own cost. I have returned the items at a cost of £31.70 for tracked delivery to China! Luckily I purchased through PayPal so I will get my money back. I want to warn others to AVOID buying anything from these scammers who have multiple websites with different names but the same tatty stock.

As others, ordered Harvey coat believing that this was a UK based company (website AND Customer Services email both indicated that).
Only upon ordering did I realise it was mainland China and no way to cancel the order once made

Item arrived after 2-3 weeks, poor quality, poor sizing, colour not as advertised. Tried to return immediately as per well-advertosed 30 day "guarantee" only to be told that it had to be received BY THEM within 30 days of date of order. Contact email continued to not actually provide any details of return or what ant supposed "alternatives" might be.
Contacted PayPal (fortunately!) who had return details for me within an hour, however ALL.RWTURN COSTS TO BE COVERED BY CUSTOMER. which means for mainland China £35....Half the cost of said item.

Return address via PayPal different to the one eventually provided, so suspect my Return would have been magically "lost" and no refund would occur.

Utter scam. Will wait to see if I get anything at all as refund

My coat was a Harvey 2 Piece, poor quality, the colour is nothing like the photos, and also not 2 pieces.

Emailed customer service, no response after 5 days of trying. I'll be escalating my issue to UK authorities who at least can be made aware of this rouge outfit and potentially take action if they get enough complaints.

Disgraceful.

I too ordered the Peaky Blinders style coat. It arrived in a reasonable time (3 weeks) considering it was shipped from Hong Kong.

As stated by another dissatisfied customer, What I thought I had bought was a long length extra large sized brown coat that had an inner jacket. I also chose the size according to their 'size-guide'.
What actually arrived was a small sized coat, waist length, that had a narrow zip-off polo neck style inner panel - not a full jacket.

I emailed their customer service (as they don’t have a contact number) and requested to cancel my order and to refund immediately. They replied in broken English and referred to me as “Dear” twice when dealing with my complaint. I then got an email back a few days later saying they could not cancel as the shipment was in transit.

The reviews on their website appear to look like trustpilot but are fake. When you try to click on the 1600 reviews they claim to have, the link does not exist.

The refund / exchange returns policy they have is a shambles. I Know that if I send the clothing back it will cost more in the tracked delivery (that they don’t pay for) then the clothing is worth and they will most likely not refund me once sent.

The five star reviews on here must be fake as all other reviews are similar if not exactly the same experience.

Had I known I was buying an item direct from a Chinese manufacturer and not a London based outfit like the website would have you believe, I would not have ordered.

I would be interested to know if anyone managed to get a refund out of them?

Feels like a big scam! Poor quality! Wrong size sent then you have to return the item back to China at your own expense! Do not reply to emails.

I have had a similar experience item too small cheap material I have emailed them but no response avoid at all costs

I ordered a coat from ‘Sam Wear London’.
This is not a UK company, it comes directly from China / Hong Kong.
The quality is so poor and it looks nothing like the photos.
It is also well undersized, it’s supposed to be an XL and it’s a medium at a push!
It is literally nothing like the photos, I tried it on and could only laugh at it!
I’ve now got to try and return it, to China / Hong Kong! And I’ve got to pay the return postage! 😡

Purchased a Peaky blinders coat, I ordered a large and assumed it would arrive in a couple days as they pretend to be a UK based company. I received the coat and I swear it would not have fitted me 20years ago as an XS. the quality is shocking, in fact I think the bag it came in would last longer. not willing to spend over £20 to return it. I highly recommend that you stay away from them.

Avoid!! Exactly the same issue as the below review with the same product. The coat eas 2 sizes too small, poor quality. London address is for a different company. Tried emailing customer service email but it didn't work for me. The website has a fake link to Trust Pilot. Not holding out much hope of getting our money back

The website is a SCAM..the coat was not good at all ..to short..wrong size and you can't send the item back to get the refund..

DO NOT USE SAM-WEAR - Wish I'd read the reivews first. Ordered a medium adult coat and Size 7 shoes. The coat is child size, the shoes are about a size 9! I asked to return them, they offered me 15% off to keep them, I declined and they offered me 20%. I declined and am still waiting for a response. Checked the T&C's (and now the reviews here) to find you need to return them to China. What a joke. I'll gift them to someone and save the stress. Do not order from these people, it is not a UK company. Very missleading.
