Saw a "peaky blinders" inspired coat for my husbands birthday showed him to see if he liked it before I ordered and he ordered it as it was allegedly on sale, it took over 3 weeks to arrive and is nothing like the photos, cheap, poor quality material, ordered a 5xl which supposedly would fit a 52" chest there is at least a 12" gap between the zipper meaning he can't fasten it. Returning will cost us £20+ as they insist it is sent tracked back to Hong Kong. Also the company portray themselves as a UK company but clearly they are not. They are complete scam artists selling sub par products at over inflated prices.... at least Turpin wore a mask.

Stuff arrived after nearly 3 weeks and isn't nothing like what I ordered the quality is terrible and sizing even worse no point trying to get a refund because you never get it from cowboy companies like this I really hope someone does the for false advertising because what you receive is crap there's £200 down the drain samwear London and you get a load of Chinese rubbish

Takes a long time to arrive, When it did, quality was ok on some things, not on others.
Sleeves extremely short on jacket, and whole thing came up small.
We will see how the return goes.

what a joke this place is. Ordered a coat for my husband it took longer to come and doesnt even look like what I ordered. Contacted the company asking for a refund they took a few days to reply with are you sure want to return the item as the customer is responsible for the charges sending the item back which could cost more then the item. Then when say you want to continue they send another email asking you again are you sure as the 30 day return policy starts from when you ordered it not when you recieved it so I am left with 13 days to get it returned to China. Avoid this company at all cost .... a load of con- artist

I ordered 2 cashmere cardigans. What I received where 2 cardigans made out of polyester, without tags - which is against the law. The sizes are completely different from what advertised and what I ordered.
I have been trying to return these items for a full refund as per their website and they continue to ask for why and refuse to issue me their returns form. This is in clear violation of their own returns policy.

I ordered goods and paid for them on 2 October - two things arrived fairly swiftly - on the back of that I stupidly order more goods to the total value of £149. To this day I have received nothing more and when I email I get rubbish emails addressed Hi dear - promising that the goods are in transit. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE!

After extensive and ongoing experience of this company I find it to be set up as a Company that engages in fraudulent activity as a matter of course. The products are ridiculously bad, and the delivery is delayed beyond 30 days of order because returns are not accepted beyond that time. Any positive reviews shown are invented by the Company in my opinion. Please do not touch this Company with a bargepole. They pretend to be a UK Company, even including UK in their name. They are, however, a Chinese set up. I am currently approaching the Chinese Trade Council via the Chinese Embassy to report this activity.

Bought a jacket that was supposed to be for autumn. When it eventually arrived it was so thin and of the poorest quality. Luckily it only cost me £34 because I am pretty sure I won't get my money back from this dodgy seller, who seems to actually be from Albania and not the UK as I was led to believe.

To call this cardigan cashmere is really monstrous - it’s some rubbish ‘wool’ …large it definitely isn’t - it took about 6 weeks to arrive & no way of returning it.
I will never use again -

Been in the post for over 10 days apparently and wont refund. You should stay away from these - useless.

|Follow up - Peaky Blinders jacket received after 4 weeks from China. I order XL but its more like a small - absolutely tiny - trying to return and no answer to emails.

Make out they are UK company - will only offer 25% refund or tell you to return to China - don't buy!!!!

Don’t be scammed by this company. You think you are buying from UK … it’s in the name…. But you are buying from China. Covent Garden address is a virtual office and no number to call. The email address is answered by China.
I spent £70 on a top and it did t fit. I have been emailing since 22nd September and still no real help. They say I need a tracked postage receipt. I returned the item at a cost of £10 and have proof of postage but racked was £20!
I’m waiting for my refund and if I don’t get one I’m going to keep writing reviews on every site I can.
Please don’t waste your money !

I'm so impressed with the customer service. I had a question about sizing and they were quick to respond and very helpful. It's clear they care about their customers.

Ignore!!! it's a Chinese based company!! Seen on Facebook at 2 different times. When you click on it, the first company comes up as Sam-wear and the second time it comes up as a company Louvel!! Obviously a hoaks!!

Delivery was faster than anticipated, and the packaging added a nice touch. It’s clear this company values their customers from start to finish. Highly recommend if you appreciate attention to detail.

I ordered a puffa jacket in a size L which according to their measurements was a size 16. When it arrived its about an 8-10 and wouldn't go around me. I requested a free post returns label and they refused saying I had to pay for the return. I pointed out that I had been miss-sold an item and it was their responsibility to pay for the return. They have now just ignored me completely. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

Have ordered probably the same cardigan as other reader here describes - looked good and the price was ok. It’s been over a month and I haven’t received my order. Went to check but their system could not find my order, with the number they had given .
Had to email them to ask when I would receive my order. Received an email back saying they had located my order and that “ was in the final stages of processing and that they would give more info soon.

So far nothing!!! Think I’ve been had!!!
Sent email asking for my money back if they could not give me an estimate on the delivery date.
Up to now - no response from them . Time to contact the consumer programme JVS !!!

Do not order from Samwear. I ordered large size but item about a UK size 10 and very flimsy. In order to return you have to pay postage and the import tax to China. Just wasn’t worth it. I gave item away in the end.
