Best service ever..

Best service ever... it is call fast loan for a good reason... and yes! They are fast! Needed some extra cash to furnish my house and got it within 2 days. Mathias, very diligently proceed with my query and understood the urgency of it, being very efficient and understanding, super proactive and clear on what he needed from us. Super big thanks to Mathias and his colleagues! :)

At the end all worked out well thanks to Ivo van Beek

Start was so bad, I had to call and speak full month with 5 different employees. The last that did something about my case was the woman (I forgot the name), and than Ivo van Beek contacted me and guided me with all documents and proces. He was very kind and willing to help regard my Dutch language limitation. Because of him and the woman I will highly recommend your bank to my friends and colleagues and probably give contact details of Ivo.

spur of the moment i applied for…

spur of the moment i applied for finance on a crf 250 rally i had set my budget and proceeded..10 mins later all approved..quick and efficient i have used santander before for a car paid off early then and i hope to pay off early here ty santander i cant say no more than that.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service...everytime all the advisors are busy...guys are you working with only one advisor and the only one is on break time or coffee time?
Last Friday I was waiting in two occasions 5 hours in total on two different numbers trying to talk with someone for a payment.
Even now I am waiting since opening time. Even at 9:30am all advisors are busy.
Avoid this company.
Hope I can get in touch with someone and finish my finance with you.

Update: I already have 3hours and 30min waiting for someone to answer my phone call...again on two different telephones... NICE ONE SANTANDER

Loan requested, approved and not paid by the company

I applied for a loan on August 4, 2022. All data was approved, I signed the contract and the deadline for receipt was two business days.
I have tried to contact you by phone, through the internal user access platform, and by email and have not received a response.
This type of situation demonstrates an extreme disregard for the consumer.

I have had a terrible experience with…

I have had a terrible experience with this company. I have tried speaking with an advisor for over a week!!! Had to pay settlement figure by bank transfer and send confirmation on to my insurance company. Still waiting after 4 days for some sort of acknowledgment from SANTANDER that they have received payment!! I'm sure if I missed a monthly payment, they would soon get in touch.

Stay away if you can

Santander is an awful bank to get a "kunstlening". Sadly, they are monopolist. The bank that provided this loans before (ABN-AMRO) was lightyears better. Santander overasks, demands so much unneccesary information for a very small loan with almost no risk for the bank (the Mondriaan stichting pays the interest). I think they ask so much information for other goals that are only in the interest of the bank, to sell you a mortgage or a carloan. There software is a disaster. I think that the instruction for their employees is: do everything you can to prevent this person to become a customer. And they do that very successful.

I saw the Santander reaction. I think it's not true they ask what every bank asks, read the other trust pilot reviews. And out of previous contact with the Mondriaan stichting en gallery owners, I am convinced that this procedure (kunstlening) is not at all in the clients interes the way Santander operates it .

So sad you rate us this bad because of all mandatory information and thus will be asked by all banks and financial institutions. We as Santander, don't sell mortgages and our car loans can only be requested at the car dealer.

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, I've been given no information what so ever. Trying to get through to Santander is impossible, the one time I did get through they hung up. Santander changed my payment date without asking me and now complicated things. Also no way to see payments to check what's been paid and what's left to pay.
I Do not recommend.

The worst experience I've ever had…

The worst experience I've ever had using a car finance agreement.

Unhelpful and will add and accumulate charges at the end of the lease for no reason. Unless challenged.

Steer well clear. A terrible company.

Ignoring

Ignoring. I think because of privat antipatie. In first loan requesting of 35K, they told that max can get 25K. Ok, I make request for 25K, then they decline- reason is not possible.
This bank dont have any respect and service to clients. Costomer service is ZERRO!!!

They are literally the worst people…

They are literally the worst people I’ve ever came across. I got a BMW x4 Yl65 from them on hp for it to breakdown & engine seized after 3 months. They tried to make me pay the 11k for the engine knowing it’s there responsibility. They left me with no car for 5months dragging there feet plus always rude and argumentative like your bothering them. I was lied to by Imogen at first saying they accept responsibility then taking 3 half’s months to send a investigator which should have been done in the first weeks. BMW car garage contacted me and told me Santander investigator came to the garage just looked at the car wrote some notes and left he dint even inspect the car but had the audacity to write a report saying it was my fault luckily for me the ombudsman dint agree with bs they was doing & upheld my complaint now they must pay back everything I’ve spent while not having the car ie monthly payments for 5 months and a brand spanking new engine costing 11k then today chris phones to sort out fixing the car ask me for copy of the bill BMW sent me as soon as he received it he just put down the phone not even I’ve got it nothing so when I phoned back they told me he put the down cause he had what he needed. Disgusting behaviour I actually hate this company I couldn’t get to work or pick up my kids because I live so far they wasn’t interested I just know karma will come back around on them for sure.

I think your are complaining to the wrong company. We are SCF in the Netherlands. We don’t send investigators and have never done that.

All we do is provide the money for you to buy the car. It’s the customer risk; if the car breaks down (or crashes) you still have to pay us back the outstanding amount. Bcause if the car breaks down, the manufacturer of the car is responsible to fix it.
