Amazing experience all round. Staff were fantastic and the excursions were top notch!! The food and accommodation however were shocking. Especially as we paid a lot of money for the holiday. It felt... See more

Amazing experience from start to finish. So well organised by elves and their helpers the reps.
Husky ride A*
Santa visit was purely magical
Hotel room decor needs to be upgraded, but were still very adequate, very warm , clean and very comfortable beds.
Would happily recommend to others and will hopefully return one day

Wow! This is a fantastic way to visit Lapland. We stayed at Santas holiday club for 2 nights. First day when we arrived we were given suits and taken to the hotel. All ran like clockwork. 2nd day we set off 10.30 to find Santa! Again all went like clockwork thanks to the fantastic organisation of this company.
I would recommend booking with Santas Lapland!

What can I say but wow. This holiday we have just come from was just out of this world, everything about our holiday was amazing and magical. We went on the 19th dec to the 22nd, we did husky rides reindeer rides, met the most beautiful Santa, cheeky elf’s went in an igloo and so much more. Most of our food was all included and was absolutely delicious Highly recommended and looking forward to going back.

Enjoyed our break away with Santa's Lapland (18th -21st December) stayed at the Holiday Club Resort. Clean and tidy. Loved the pool. Restaurant is nice. Only downside to the hotel was the variety of food for the children. Chicken nuggets and chips was a little too repetitive - same on the festive evening meal.
Trips were well organised in advance. Both us and the kids enjoyed the experiences. Loved the husky rides and reindeer ride.

Activities amazing but resort not up to scratch and food was awful. Unfortunately would not go again. I think for the cost it should have been alot better. Such a shame as been looking to it for over a year

This might be a long one! But we are currently at the airport at Ivalo waiting to board the plane home and cannot wait to give this company the five star review is truly deserves for one of the best family holidays we have ever had! The communication before the trip was fantastic and provides so much information, I was a bit worried as we hadn’t used this company before and it is a lot of money to spend on a short trip (but worth every penny!) the ground staff over here are phenomenal, they must have been trained by santas elves because they are so jolly and helpful and they really help you get your bearings once you’re here so you know exactly what to do and when to do it. It was a very different holiday than we are used to (usually all inclusive luxury beach holidays!) this was a lot of amazing excursions so getting the right information was key and they nailed it. I would highly recommend you pre book the extended huskey Aurora lights trip, that was unbelievable! It’s not cheap but again worth every penny and is a once in a lifetime experience. Ensure you take a snood or a balaclava, you will definitely need them! I wish I had taken selfies with all the staff at santas Lapland because they all deserve a mention! They really did go over and above and there are always plenty of them ready to help. Have to mention one of them (I’m sorry didn’t get her name) but she got us singing Xmas carols waiting for the baggage on the way there and she was keeping all the kids entertained when we arrived at the airport to get back home. I do know she wants pink crocs and chocolate fingers off Santa! And also shout out to “let it snow Steve” for the Xmas quiz and carols on the way back to the airport! We honestly cannot fault this holiday, we stayed at the star arctic and would stay their again in a heartbeat, it was stunning! We were lucky enough to see the northern lights from our bed! We stayed in a glass cabin, all of which are north facing to get the best view of them! These are compact but would be all you need for two adults and one or two kids. They do sleep four comfortably. We stayed for three nights which I would recommend to ensure you get to do everything. Also make sure you read the handy hints and tips sent by Santas Lapland especially the clothing needed, it is freezing cold!! All the excursions we did were included in the price with the exception of the extended huskey ride. So we did the reindeer sleigh ride, a shorter huskey ride, we went to find Santa (found him!) we had stories with elves, had a snowmobile safari, toboggans, snow hockey, mini skidoos and so much more! You ride the huskey sleds and snowmobiles yourself! And the kids get to ride the mini skidoos. Santa himself exceeded our expectations! He knew exactly what our son wanted for Xmas and had magically received his letter! I could keep going on but we are about to board! anyone unsure of this type of holiday, go for it! I haven’t got the best back, I have the balance of a drunk toddler and am not the most athletic but I managed to do everything! Lots of fun and a lifetime of memories! Thank you Santas Lapland, you’re amazing at what you do!

Amazing day at Santa land. Dreadful accommodation, dreadful food spoiled the holiday overall. Resort hotel shabby, curtains didn’t fit windows, dreadful lukewarm buffet food, expensive drinks, inexperienced resort staff. For 2,500 per head for 3 days this is not worth the time nor money. BUT the day finding Santa was fabulous although we definitely won’t return for lumpy beds and pillows, draughty rooms and food that was appalling.

Brilliant 3-night holiday in Lapland. Well organised. Everything was provided and we had a magical time. I would recommend.

Fantastic experience for the family to visit Lapland (Saariseslka)
Santa's Lapland team were excellent from the first telephone call to book until we left the airport on our homeward bound journey. Well organised trip .
Highly recommend

We had the most amazing experience from start to finish. The staff are happy and enthusiastic and go above and beyond to ensure you’re totally topped up with magic! The surroundings are just amazing we were so lucky to see the aurora borealis on two consecutive nights during our stay which was obviously the cherry on an already super indulgent cake! Talking of cake the food was great! And even the fussiest of eaters (my 8 year old) are able to find something they like at each meal.
I wish we could have stayed longer! I wish we could afford to go back! The memories we now have are the best and most magical that will last our lifetimes.

We stayed at the Star Arctic Hotel in one of the glass roof cabins last week. It was amazing. The staff were brilliant and the whole experience from start of booking to finish was unreal.
The best bit about it was that due to having a higher end booking the star arctic has its own "wilderness Centre" so you are not stuck with crowds of people at very commercial Santa villages elsewhere. You have a more personal experience elsewhere with just your hotel guests there (and its a small hotel) and this makes it even better as there are no queues, no wait times, nothing, its all done at your own pace and all the more magical. So all these people moaning about stuff... it pays to pay that bit more for a one off special trip.
There were so many small little touches that happened throughout our stay that made it more magical, such as the elves being at random places for us as we drove by, then they were all sledging with the kids and having a laugh with everyone, and getting involved as much as possible which everyone was loving as it just made it more fun. I heard that at the more commercial larger places this doesn't happen.
The only real issues we found were on the wilderness dinner on our first night we had a reindeer ride which lasted all of 5 mins (im not joking) and we were thinking that if this was the set up for the rest of our stay we would not be impressed but it turns out the rest of the stay was hugely different and impressive and we soon forgot about that 5min let down
We didn't see the northern lights due to it literally non stop snowing from the minute we landed until after we left but heard it cleared so could be seen the day after we'd left. But thats no ones fault apart from Mother Nature.

Truly amazing trip from start to finish. A magical holiday. We stayed at the holiday club for 3 nights and added the husky and northern lights experience to our holiday. Please try to add the extra husky safari, you won’t regret it, just amazing - and very easy to drive if you are nervous. The northern lights safari is hit and miss as you can’t guarantee seeing anything but it’s quite fun all the same - I’d not recommend this for little ones late in the day, as the days are so busy with fun activities they just become cold and tired on this trip. The Santa day is just perfect, I’ll say no more apart from don’t rush it, do all the activities and save the Santa part until last. The staff were really amazing throughout the trip, really helpful and kind, the food was pretty good considering it’s a package - no complaints from us pescatarians. The wine and hot chocolate in the pub across the street also worth a visit :) after a busy day. The only tiny negative is the hotel bedrooms - very basic with no service but to be fair you are never in them as there is so much to do - I’d recommend 2 rooms if you can as with all the kit it’s a bit of a squeeze but it’s so unimportant in light of the trip I wouldn’t worry about it and just crack on. Follow all the packing advice - inner gloves and extra hats, socks, pocket snacks and you will have a gorgeous time.

Excellent service from start to finish. The planning of pick ups, drop offs and activities was superb. Loved every second of this holiday

The most amazing experience of our lifes. Pure magic throughout was incredible and the joy and happiness on our children's faces was priceless plus they got to meet SANTA which was extra special. The staff were fantastic throughout and so welcoming and a real help with any questions we had. The activities are out of this world and we made so many memories that we will cherish forever. And to top the holiday off we got to see the northern lights in all there glory. And truly magical adventure one we will never forget. Thank you

Very disappointing experience and not worth the money. The santa day was a complete let down. Poor facilities, little investment in the entire experience. Such a shame as was meant to be the highlight of the trip. Do not recommend this experience you get way more by going to Lapland UK than the real Lapland. Food was basic, accommodation was basic. Staff friendly but you pay for a magical Santa experience and we didn’t get it.

we prebooked trips in lapland 14
months before we travelled
when we got there we only had a voucher for the reindeer’s not the northern lights the Rep i spoke to said it would be in the pigeon hole that night it wasn’t and reps had gone no one to speak too. next morning we got the children up at 6.00 to have breakfast and be ready to be picked up at 8.00 no one came a rep on another bus said your not on my list and left, there was no one to ask as reps didn’t come in until 9.00 so we missed the reindeer’s that morning, we had 2 very tired and disappointed children, when the reps came she found out we had been missed off the list and re-booked us in for the morning we left not ideal, we still had no voucher for the northern lights. we had a phone call from the rep i spoke to about the northern lights some 2 hours later asking if we got the voucher he put in the pigeon hole the night before. couldn’t believe his brass neck, this was not a courtesy call as i did not give him my mobile number only the other rep had this, it was covering his back after another cock-up. i do not appreciate being lied to, so he either thought i was senile and wouldn’t notice he hadn’t put it in till later that day with the new voucher for the reindeer or he blatantly LIED to me either one is an insult, and to top it up altogether my son-in-law overheard another rep talking to a rep from another company about it and said i bet they were late coming down. downright cheek. my advice don’t rely on reps as most are busy having fun themselves and aren’t there for you
in reply to you about the reps NO they did not help

Really well organised, absolutely beautiful surroundings - Saariselka is a fabulous town as it has the national park right on your doorstep! Our 5 year old had an amazing time and staff were all super friendly and helpful.

If I could give one star I would. The hotel is run down and disgusting and they stole 600 pound from us for an excursion. Stay well away there are better options

The outstanding team members, the quality and organisation of the holiday all combined to make our experience the most magical few days, with happy memories that will last forever - thank you for everything. Our visit was the most wonderful few days.
