Amazing.
9 crates (yes, crates) of my father's photograph albums were stuck in an attic; no one had looked at them for decades.
Thanks to Alan's amazing service, the photographs are now easily accessible, and have allowed us to share memories and tell stories across continents and generations. Great quality, great service - thank you so much!

What a fantastic service! Totally faultless. Alan has great attention to detail, really cares about getting the job right, and is totally trustworthy. He scanned a family photo archive for us as well as thousands of pages of letters from WW2 between our grandfather and grandmother and great grandmother. They were fragile and it wasn’t an easy job but Alan found a way to make it cost effective and it was worth every penny. Highly recommended. And the evening pick up and delivery is handy too, especially when you’re at work all day.

I used Alan's services to scan an old family photo album and was really pleased with the service I received. Alan collected the album and then hand scanned over 50 pages of varying quality photos at a high res. He then undertook a number of post production enhancements which resulted in an amazing set of photos capable of being printed at highres in a book. His care, attention to detail and professionalism was fantastic and I'd highly recomment him for anyone looking to convert old photos or media.

My mother was looking for someone who could help with scanning and digitilising of at least 17 albums of family photographs dating back to mid-late 1800s. She wanted to be able to easily give members of the family copies of the photographs. Alan at Scan Van was amazing. He was thorough, professional, and helpful during the initial meeting, explained exactly how he could help and how long it would take, and we were so pleased with the final digitalisation result. He delivered as many CD/memory stick copies that we needed, the scanning results of even the most faded/tarnished photographs were of excellent quality, and we are now able to share the photographs with other members of the family. A thoroughly pleasant, professional and exceptional service.

I was looking for a company that I could trust to digitise 60+ super-8 cine films and 1500 + slides that my parents had taken back in the 1960s and 1970s. High street prices were prohibitively high and clearly I needed someone who I could trust. I was glad to find Alan at Scan-Van. He was courteous and professional and gave a first class service, travelling to pick up the originals and delivering back with DVDs and USB sticks on time as promised for my Father's birthday. This is a great service - Alan scanned more than 1,800 of my photos, collected and dropped them back off again. His communication was great and I'm very happy with the end result. Highly recommended.

I have piles and piles of paper photos from years ago and have been meaning to digitalise them for ages. Alan was recommended to me by a friend and I was extremely happy with the service. He came to my house on the same day I booked the order and scanned and returned the photos within a few days. i check the photos on the disc drive and CDs he gave me - all were present and many were improved e.g. colour more vibrant. I contacted Alan regarding scanning my entire family's photo collection. He responded promptly and came round to collect the photos at a time that suited me.

The job was done in a timely manner and Alan made a special effort to get them done before a certain deadline. I was really pleased with the results.
