Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review.
The flowers are sent directly from the Isles of Scilly and due to our remote location, delays occasionally occur.
We plan ahead as much as possible and work closely with the shipping company to minimise the impact of any travel disruption, but this is why we can't guarantee a specific delivery day. We try to make it as clear as we possibly can on our website and in our correspondence emails, that the delivery date chosen is only approximate.
We informed all customers by email and let everyone know that their order would be freshly packed and dispatched at the next opportunity (usually the next day). We gave everyone the opportunity to cancel or move their order.
Because of the bad weather we were experiencing, your order wasn't dispatched until late morning on the Friday, rather than first thing on the Thursday.
We were unable to deliver the next day as our location in the Isles of Scilly creates logistical limitations.
Narcissi are extremely resilient and after a lot of experience sending them across the country, we are extremely confident they will cope with their time in transit well and won’t be affected by any slight delays.
I do hope that puts your mind at rest.
