SoCal stole $1212.22 from me. I haven’t received a reply to any of my daily emails to them in over a year. I want the shit that I paid for, or my money back…

I bought egr kit for my veloster about 10 months ago and haven't received it yet;no email response no customer service no refund and no nothing
I think socalgsrageworks is completely fraud

These reviews seem to be getting pretty repetitive on the same negative experience…. I ordered a carbon fiber steering wheel for my 02 F -150 on February 20, 2025. I inquired about a status update about a month and a half after the order was placed and received a very unprofessional email in regards to my inquiry. Months passed - started emailing Greg Buchat in regards to my order, only to receive multiple lies on potential ship dates and empty promises on receiving tracking information. Fortunately I filed a claim through PayPal and provided all the documentation and final emails in where I was requesting my refund to no response. I received my refund from PayPal! Please stay away from this company as it seems that this is their way of doing business!

I really wanted to like carbon horn style mirrors but after waiting several months for these to finally arrive they only lasted a month before they separated. I contacted Socal and Greg informed me that this was a manufacturing error and that they would send a new set out to me. I wait another 2 months for the new set to show up. When I finally put the new ones on they last little bit long then the first set but ultimately failed the same way. I reached out again and Greg bauchat reluctantly agreed to send another set. It's been months and have not received a response to any messages about an order confirmation. I guess I was just unlucky and got mirrors from the bad batch. But I guess I'll never know cause it seems I won't be getting a new set.

wish i could put NEGATIVE stars honestly. Owner ignores messages/emails, my partner has been waiting on a part for a year now. Owner tried saying there was some sort of mishap it’ll be sent don’t worry MONTHS ago. Asked for a refund, won’t provide it even a YEAR later. what a joke. short $1000 in this economy how can you be such a horrible person??? will absolutely be taking business elsewhere and telling the car communities to do the same.

Almost two years later and I still don't have my steering wheel. PayPal won't help. They owners dodges my emails and messages. OUT 800 dollars and the owner could care less. This place is such a scam. Buyers beware

We ordered a carbon fiber steering wheel. We received part of the order and was told the other part was on back order back in December 2023. We have repeatedly emailed to be told still on back order for ver a year later. We asked for a refund instead on that portion (150.00) which was never honored. Today I received ANOTHER email but this time was told it was shipped a long time ago however they have never even responded since May 2024. They also have not provided any tracking info to show it was sent even when asked multiple times which they should be able to provide with if it was shipped. They have given us the run around for over a year. I would never purchase anything from this company again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

They just took my money and never delivered product. After months in dispute and emails saying they were going to send product with tracking number they never did and now won’t even respond anymore. Will have to take them to small claims

Greg Bauchat, AKA SoCal Garage Works forced me to take him to court and now I have a judgement against SoCal Garage Works in the amount of $1,034.07. Absolutely NO integrity or business ethics whatsoever.
I ordered a steering wheel June 7th 2023. After several months without product, I told Greg to cancel my order. To my surprise, I received an email dated October 2nd, 2023 from Greg stating he would refund my money and cancel my order. That email was obviously a B.S. statement because one year later, I had no refund and no communication from Greg. So I was forced to take legal action.
Sadly, there are tons of reviews with people who experienced the same situation as I did. I know it's painful, but when someone steals from you, you must hold them accountable, even if it means legal action. Greg has proven what kind of business he operates and I encourage every potential customer to take these 1-star reviews seriously and look up my Case# 24CESC00633 from the Superior Court of California - County of Fresno. I can't believe they are still in business.

I ordered 3 items from this company Carbon fiber Spoiler, carbon fiber eyelids and carbon fiber fenders I don't received nothing yet I still waiting from March 23, 2024. I send emails to Greg and in the beginning he answered but now he still ignored me for months I spend $2,204.40 and Greg I see you like to answer here calling the people fake and liars my order is number #81322 answer me and explain to me what happen.

7 months later is still don’t have my carbon spoiler, do not give these bums your money, look anywhere else. They will take your money and blatantly ignore you. I ordered my carbon spoiler originally for $700 and checked the site 2 days later and the same spoiler is now $1000, these guys are scummy and absolutely will rip you off if you let them.

Ordered a duck bill been 5 months now and can’t contact Greg for nothing horrible business don’t order from here and also in the description does not say how long the item will take when I sent him 8 emails he said 4-12 weeks it’s been way longer than that

Horrible they love to rip you off and not send parts that were paid for…. And drag it out well beoyond an acceptable time… not to mention bitchass Greg gets all his parts from alibaba as a big order and says they customize them and really do nothing. Definitely one to stay away from…. Read all the others that had the same experience along with the BBB complaints

Biggest Scam. I ordered air ride suspension in February. Greg is not helpful at all. The keeps giving excuses. Please save ur time and money. I’ve been asking for a refund and they blow me off. They are huge scammer. !!
I’m out 3,500. No updates. I email everyday. It just says in productions. Save yourself.

Sent me the incorrect wheel. Never sent carbon trim pieces. I ordered in September 2021. I got receipts of communication for almost a year before it abruptly stopped. Do not do business with these bozos.

Greg Bauchat & his company SoCalGarageworks SCAMMED ME OUT OF $1,120.50. I paid for a FULL/COMPLETE STEERING WHEEL on DECEMBER 8TH OF 2022. I received 1/3rd of a steering wheel JUNE OF 2023. INCOMPLETE. THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, LIE TO YOU, THEN BLATANTLY IGNORE YOU. WHEN YOU SPEAK UP ON SOCIAL MEDIAS BECAUSE YOUR EMAILS GO IGNORED, THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY BLOCK YOU! STEER CLEAR OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!

I ordered a custom steering wheel on September 23,2023 and i still haven’t received it. I reached out to Greg Bauchat the principal, twice, and twice he told me they were finishing it up. It’s been 2 months now and he hasn’t responded to my emails. STAY AWAY FROM SoCalgarageworks.

I ordered a CF gear knobs but after two months of waiting I instigated a claim through PayPal and have just been fully refunded. Initially I received replies to my emails saying it would be the end of the month and then in another couple of weeks and then no more communication. Don’t deal with this chap - I don’t think he’s a crook but has very poor customer support and isn’t very competent.
