It's ok

Although the probiotics are the original innovative solution for probiotics that actually reach the colon, the subscription is pricey and you're required to join to even be able to buy the product. The probiotics alone are wonderful, it's just the expense of the subscription.

Great product and customer service.

Love the product and had a good customer service experience. My daughter has had vague unexplained stomachaches for years, then we started this and they went away! (She took the pediatric version.) She only takes half a packet a day and it seems to work, so we do that to lower the cost. But because of that, I needed to pause our subscription because we have lots of it. Apparently I had put a typo in my email when signing up so I couldn't figure out how to access my account. I contacted customer service and they were very helpful, helped me stop my subscription, figured out that the typo had been the error, and fixed my email. I thought the sign up process was clear and I understood I was signing up for a subscription. I like that the refills are sustainable.

The product has some positives, but!!!

The product has some positives. It seemed to help my stomach, however, after the original order, I literally had to beg the company to send my monthly refill. (They wasted zero minutes in charging my credit card) but no refill sent. They will not respond to emails, so forget that. I finally spoke with someone and canceled my subscription. They were kind enough to refund my card for the refill charge. So today it came in the mail. Opened the paper package and inside the pouch was possibly 5 capsules that were not destroyed. Powder everywhere with broken capsules mixed in.
I threw it in the trash.
My conclusion: not a bad product, but a horrendous business. I am now sure that this is a couple of teenagers pretending to run a business out of their parents basement (my favorite expression to characterize sloppy businesses) . Avoid!!! It’s not worth it!

I have not received my 4 last orders

I have not received my 4 last orders. I have found one order and now understand why I haven't received my orders, it due to SEEDs lacking my full address on their address label , the address always missing my street.
I have repeatedly contacted them, they ignore and never respond. I told Seed I have missing orders, , Seed has ignored all my requests, Seed has sent orders without my full address, with a street, Seed neither refund nor reply to my contact, you did not amend, you are not I am Disappointed and can not trust Seed to send me my orders nor to give me my due refund, I can not trust Seed to have any business.
Shameful , simply shame !

Don’t trust seed

Ive been ordering directly from Seed.com for about a year. Even though I have not seen any real difference, I decided to continue for another year I specifically ordered from their website and not Amazon or any other third party to try to maintain the most highest quality since this would be impacting my health. If I wanted Amazon logistics, I would have ordered from Amazon.

Only after my order shipped did I learn that Seed uses Amazon Shipping and other similar third-party carriers—without clearly disclosing this at checkout. For ingestible products, chain-of-custody and handling matter. That distinction is not trivial, and many consumers deliberately avoid Amazon logistics for that reason.

What’s most disappointing is that Seed positions itself as a health-first, trust-driven brand, yet keeps this information opaque. When I raised the concern, I received policy language—not accountability. They blew me off.

This experience caused unnecessary stress and frustration, and it undermines confidence in a company that claims to prioritize customer health and transparency. If fulfillment partners don’t matter, disclose them. If they do matter, customers deserve the choice

Abby at Seed provided one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. She took the time to understand my situation, asked thoughtful and consultative questions, and went out of her way to help me find the right solution. I never felt rushed or treated like a ticket number.

Seed clearly invests in people who care about their customers. I’m genuinely impressed and grateful for the support. Thank you, Abby.

Product OK, subscriptions, shipping, communication very poor

The product seems to be of adequate quality but the delivery, subscriptions are a mess. I received a promotional email to try 2 products in addition and the DS-1 I was taking on a subscription basis. Without authorization Seed continued the ship the promotional products at full price. When I objected to this they gave me a $74.00 credit towards new purchases. I have sent 3 emails beginning on January 29 and have yet to get to response. Seed customer service has rectified the issue.

I had a very frustrating experience…

I had a very frustrating experience with Seed’s subscription service. It’s unnecessarily difficult to cancel, which feels intentional and unfair to customers. On top of that, I didn’t notice any benefits at all from using their multivitamins or probiotics, even after giving them a fair try. For the price and the hassle involved, this service just isn’t worth it. I wouldn’t recommend Seed to anyone who values transparency or flexibility.

Seed.com has the slick branding of a…

Seed.com has the slick branding of a premium health company and the delivery execution of a garage sale.

My orders have been “delivered” to the wrong address more than once.

The proof is literally in the delivery photos: the house in the picture is not my house. Not my porch, not my door, not my anything.

Yet somehow Seed still treats that as a completed delivery and then hides behind a “refund window” once you finally figure out your package got dumped at some random place.

That is not customer service. That is customer avoidance.

And dealing with support is the worst part. Instead of acting like a company that wants to make things right, the vibe is: delay, deflect, deny.

Lots of scripted replies, zero ownership, and a weird obsession with finding reasons not to help. If your tracking says delivered but the photo is a different house, the conversation should be over.

Refund or reship. Period. Anything else is nonsense.

Also, using DoorDash style last mile delivery for a subscription product is a bad joke.

You want fewer lost packages? Use USPS or a real parcel carrier consistently, not a patchwork of gig deliveries that seems to “complete” orders wherever the driver feels like stopping.

Bottom line: if you like paying premium prices for roulette wheel shipping and customer service that argues with basic reality, Seed is your company. I’m done.

Repeated shipping/packaging failures…

Repeated shipping/packaging failures have made me question quality control. Our pediatric order arrived spilled with white powder throughout the package, which is especially concerning when it’s for a child. Customer support was slow (about a week to reply), and there’s no phone option to speak with someone.

Overall an exercise in extreme frustration.

Ok I do have to admit the products are great quality but the customer service and customer experience is so bad it just isn’t worth the hassle.

I attempted to renew my subscription without success. Customer service are no help and their systems are even worse, their billing system is a joke. Overall an exercise in extreme frustration.

I find it odd that current customers are not allowed to leave reviews on their main site. I have been a customer for almost 2 years. As long as you don’t need customer service the probiotics work well. However, once you need assistance it’s all down hill. We placed an order 2 weeks ago and it has not shipped yet. Every attempt to contact customer service has only been replied by AI. No actual response. I have cancelled all my subscriptions.

Happy with Seed!

I’m also surprised by the amount of negative reviews here, but my experience with Seed has been great! I’m on month 3 and plan to continue. I feel that the product has helped to improve my gut health, so that’s a solid win in my book. Additionally, their customer service has been stellar! When I’ve had a question or needed help, they’ve responded quickly and to my great satisfaction. Absolutely worth a try on all counts!

Do not buy

I had a generally negative experience with this product. It made me feel nauseous so I cancelled my subscription after the first month but was still charged for the next order and customer service was not helpful. They wouldn’t refund or cancel the order.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. The option for changing your shipping date on a subscription was suddenly removed. I tried contacting customer service. I received an AI response which did not even remotely assist. Finally got through to customer service and they too were dismissive and rude. Did not even try to help resolve the issue. I cancelled my two subscriptions with them and will not look back. Makes me wonder that if Seed doesn't care about their customers, their products most likely have the same poor quality. Buyer beware!
