Good communication, hassle free! Highly recommend, 5 Stars company!!!!

I arranged for SendBike to send a bike to Spain, and Pippa organised a pickup via DHL. The bike was collected on time and was supposed to arrive in Spain on the 2nd of August. However, it got stuck at customs, and we had to handle the situation ourselves, which was quite a hassle. Be aware that customs may require additional documents and payments. We were asked to provide a letter of explanation, a copy of our passport, and a rental agreement in Spain. Due to these delays, the bike finally arrived in the evening of the 7th of August. Overall, dealing with this was a real headache.

Used these guys to send my bike just within the UK and they failed at every step. They said they would send the bike box to me next day, which they didnt, and it was only me chasing it up two days before collection date that they noticed and sent me a new one. They never sent me an order confirmation of any kind. They told me a pick up time for the box on the first day which was completely wrong, and only after getting back in touch again did they re-arrange the pick up and once again, the driver came at a different time to what they told me. Essentially all they do is charge you for something you can easily do yourself, and its no easier. Just buy a cardboard box yourself and contact DHL for delivery and it will be way easier and cheaper!

Where do i start?
I organised to send my £6000 bike to Morzine from Belfast, during correspondence it was made very aware the bike needed to be there by the 10th August 2024. I have paid £320 for this service. This was a direct quote and I didn’t book directly through the booking page, which they claim was the reason the screw up occurred. How can someone honestly sleep at night thinking they have charged someone £320 knowing rightly that the bike would not arrive? A simple corespondence saying, ‘it probably won’t make it’ may have helped this situation slightly? There has been no resoulution or clarifition on this situation. I will never recommend this service to any family member. You want to send a bike? Use dhl or DPd directly, they guys are just adding profit and are taking the p. Pathetic company. The only good news is my bike will be in morzine for the next month.. so I guess my partner can enjoy it?.. the stress this has caused and the lack of sleep I have suffered. Holiday ruined. thanks so much again.

I did not use their bike pickup and delivery service. I only ordered the large bike box to pack my bike into for my removals company sending UK to CH. Dispatched and arrived super fast, but the delivery needed a signature despite me authorising it to be left in a safe place- good thing I was around to answer the door!

So far so good. 5 stars so far. Let’s see how it holds up on the other side!

I would not even rate this company a one star! The service is appalling, communication is nil, no interest in rectifying any issue, blaming the couriers and finally, no apology or reimbursement for a job NOT done!!!! Our bikes finally arrived in Spain via a private courier, wish I had gone that way in the first place! It has cost us in time, finances and stress! Do not use unless you want to risk the same!
