Horrible service

Terrible company

Terrible company. Bought cinema vouchers from them, only to find out I ended up paying more for the tickets than if I had bought them directly from the cinema.
Trying to get a refund from them is like trying to get blood from a stone.

DO NOT USE SERVICE SEATS! (You have been warned)

Ordered 2x Adult 2D Cinema Tickets (through Blue Light). Last page at checkout said transaction successful and gave me a reference number, stating it could take up to an hour for the tickets to arrive via email.

Checked the next day - no email. Logged into the Portal (on Service Seats) and it said there had been a problem with the payment and to try again! The money was showing as pending on Monzo...

I emailed the contact address, got an automated response (which went into my spam email folder, lol) which said I had raised a medium priority ticket and they'd get back to me. No timescale mentioned.
Meanwhile I'm still out of pocket - having to buy the cinema tickets for the trip (and pay twice now) and I'm yet to receive a response from Service Seats.

I've raised a dispute with my bank and I'm hoping they release the funds back to me.

not what it used to be

not sure what is going on there, I never used to have problems with them, until now. Paid for tickets, never received the codes and not a single reply to my emails. What's truly disappointing, is that bluelight card just washes their hands off it and simply leave you to deal with a non-existing customer service team. After reading a fair number of similar reviews, I felt I had no alternative but to log a dispute with my bank, hopefully they can get the money back for me.
Safe to say, this is the last time I used them. Bluelight should definitely drop them and soon!

Disgusting Scammers!!

Disgusting Scammers!!!

Paid for 2 cinema tickets 2 days ago they’ve took the money out my bank and I’ve received no confirmation email or tickets!! Been emailing them and had no reply!

Reporting them to the fraud squad! Do not purchase from these as customer service is non existent.

One star is too good for this bunch of…

One star is too good for this bunch of scammers.

I paid for my cinema voucher, this lot helped themselves to the money from my bank account, but never sent the voucher. Thieves the lot of them. Do not use them unless you want to lose your money.

I have emailed them numerous times. They never respond. What a disgusting way to treat NHS and other emergency service and armed force staff.

Awful. Purchased tickets and unable to use them. Poor to no communication with someone called Sian, who failed to get back to me. Asked for money back and no response. Do not use, it’s a scam.

Utter scam - Don’t use

Utter scam
Purchased two tickets on service seats website via blue light card. Selected the venue I wanted which was Bluewater with 2 x adult tickets. Codes were sent through only to be invalid and unredeemable at Bluewater showcase. Absolute joke

Will definitely not use again

Will definitely not use again for Odeon.

Paid £8.12 for voucher, went to use online to pay for a ticket (retail £10.99) and I still had to pay another £4 for the ticket, making it more expensive than if I hadn't used the voucher.

Impossible to contact for a refund, website is useless.

Just pointless

Just pointless. The codes don't work as they should and rather than take money off the ticket on the cinema website it added money on. Absolute waste of time and money.

Useless

Useless - vouchers either expired after 2 minutes or had been used before, despite me not having used the code!! Constantly throws up a booking error on the Vue cinema website. Complete waste of time and very frustrating. This deserves a -5 star.

Purchased 3 limitless codes via Blue…

Purchased 3 limitless codes via Blue Light card. 2 codes worked. One code was already redeemed 6 days before we purchased it. Been given the run-around by Service seats, blue light card and Odeon. Avoid service seats at all costs/ Just read this review and the ones below it. Appears to be a total scam. Despite lots of emails we have had no response to a simple ask - give me a working code or a refund. Shame on Blue Light Card for using such a shoddy provider.

Scam - worthless

Misleading verging on fraudulent experience - purchase a ticket only to find out at the cinema that all you got was expensive popcorn for no cheaper than purchasing at the venue - no help or apology - just a “should have read the small print”

Shame as used due to BlueLightCard card.

Avoid! Pointless.

Such a scam do not use

Such a scam, shame on Blue light for partnering with them! Had ticket price so thought I was paying for tickets, got to Vue to be told no that’s the wrong code you haven’t got a ticket. Ended up paying twice!

Do not use. They take your money then fail to respond when your experiencing problems.

No reply to my email & no way of contacting the company to resolve the issue. Like others, I purchased these through Bluelight. Don't bother saving yourself a few pounds, because your lose a lot more.
