I needed some consumption information urgently for a report. My call was answered in seconds and when I explained the situation and provided the LOA, I have been told I would receive the requested information the same day. A follow-up email has been sent to me in less than an hour with all of the information I have requested. Very professional and kind service, and it is rare for a supplier to provide the requested information on such a short notice.

I have had the pleasure to work alongside Jonathan Waldron of Shell for a few months and his work has been always very professional and extremely helpful. He dealt with many queries and found a solution to all of them in the quickest way possible. He is a very nice person always polite and ready to listen and help.

I am a new shell energy customer from 21st Oct 2022 and I am new to the UK. I am not familiar with the energy system billings and payment. I contact Vivin who works in Shell Energy customer care department on 27th Jan 2023, who explained the billing system and helped to resolve my long-standing issue as I had been paying to the wrong closed account for 3 months. He created a new account for me and clearly explained the processes.
I appreciate all the support and information provided by Vivin.

The most dreadful customer service. We are a Foodbank supporting people in crisis and we paid Shell £150 on 5th October 22 to put onto the account of a vulnerable adult we were supporting. They have still not received the money. Different departments have been communicating, but none have managed to do either: 1. Pay the customer what is due or 2. return the money to us so we can look to support this person in another way. Very disappointed does not do justice to how we feel about this.
Update. Due to the intervention of management, Shell have resolved the issue swiftly and also given the customer a gesture of goodwill. Many thanks to Dawn and the team.

On the 29th November we spent between 3-4 hours trying to get through on your call line only to be passed from one department to another and been given the same number and asked to press the business option on the keypad which we had done. No one could help us switch from a business account to a residential domestic account (electricity paid by landlord to tenant from 22nd December 2022). We ended up with a South African gentleman who could not get throught to the right department before end of day and promised to ring us back the next day at 10.00 am to resolve the issue. The call was not forthcoming. We decided to ring one more time on the 30th November and got through to Steffan, a Customer Services Advisor who understood what was required and sent us the form to complete straight away and advised us what was needed. The form was completed and supplemented with additional information to assist. Before sending the email back to the address provided, I rang to confirm the information we were sending was sufficient, Steffan was not on leave and I spoke to a colleague Austin who was also most helpful and answered all my questions. He reassured me the team were familiar with the landlord in question and that the information was what was required. Both these calls lasted less than 10 minutes. Given the dreadful experience we had initially, both these Customer Service Advisors demonstrated the difference it makes to reach staff who know what they are talking about, can help and are polite and friendly. Our message to Shell Energy is please get your act together and take a leaf out of this team's book!
