Sadly
Sadly, have to write a very negative review.
A few years ago, I placed an order with Watts Farm. Some of it didn’t come, so I had to wait in on the 2nd day.
I decided this might have been a one-off that could happen to any company so this year, I gave them another chance for my Christmas order.
It arrived on 23rd. The time slot changed so again, a lot of hanging around. And the driver told me how cross he was at having to come out all the way to me – not a great look for the company.
But worse, a couple of items were missing. Again.
So I rang and the customer service person was very nice, apologized and organized replacements to be sent out Christmas Eve. Infuriating as I had other plans but I needed it.
I had to ring them in the morning as no time had been advised. I was told they couldn’t find the goods in the warehouse so were trying to sort it.
Eventually, I was given a 12-1pm slot. So I sat, on a chair by my front window, intent not to miss it.
12 went. I pm went. 2pm went. Another call from me couldn’t get an immediate answer as apparently this particular driver doesn’t like using a phone out on delivery, even hands free. Wow – a bit of a pre-requisite for most deliveries to stay in touch with the office.
Eventually, I was told that the driver claimed to have delivered it much earlier but because he didn’t use his phone, they had only just found out. A description of the house was given – inaccurately.
I was told he had knocked but no-one was there – odd as I have a door bell and was sitting looking out.
Apparently, he had pointed out where he had delivered it to when he got back so I asked for a google earth picture. I was told that would be organized. It never came.
Meanwhile, I did get a refund, but little consolation.
Not much help though for mid-afternoon on Christmas eve when I had needed the stuff for the evening meal.
So that was my Christmas eve – all my plans messed up for the day Including what I had planned for dinner.
Serious issue with the Watts farm delivery department, from their timing, their attitude, and their drivers not liking to use phones - I mean seriously?!
I would hesitate to ever use or recommend – despite the produce being pretty good (apart from the basil which was already slimy on arrival).
Exceptional personal service
Exceptional personal service when I needed a particular herb for a recipe which I had been unable to find elsewhere. Even at the busy Christmas period I was able to talk to someone on the phone and arrange a rapid collection of my very insignificant order. I have never used the company before but can definitely recommend them on the basis of their assistance this time.
Unreliable and you have to chase them.... Then they don't send everything you order!
Failed to deliver
Failed to notify me
Chased them, they rearranged same day.
Great
Except then were missing 4 items of 11.
I really wanted to like them. I really did.
Great service and the tree looks fab!

Always a treat to open the boxes and…
Always a treat to open the boxes and see the wonderful produce. All fruit and veg lasts well.
I like the fact that you can have a morning delivery.
thank you for bringing a lovely pleasure to our day.
Friendly and helpful
Friendly and helpful. Good quality produce. Pick up is from a warehouse on an industrial estate.
Disgusting driver and customer service
You could improve your company by sacking the piece of s@#t driver that almost ran me off the road today then had the audacity to give me the finger whilst telling me to f@#k off..my wife and daughter were thrown forwards as I skidded to a halt..i did catch up with the driver and get a photo but he was going down a single track road with blind corners at up to 70mph and over..I tried to call the company but the charming lady put the phone down on me.The police have been informed. This was in Sheffield Park today.
I had pretty good experience with them…
I had pretty good experience with them even delivery for sone reason was a bit late , we had a couple emails too chat little bit .
Food was nice like I bought meat like burgher , marinade rump kebab , lamb kofta not bad was seasoned with mint I guess, pretty pale but good .
Then I had few fruit , grape good , red plum good , strawberry nice sweet and juicy, I had a couple of issues not very good but I guess could happen I want to be positive this time . Pretty sure I will buy again from them , they have a lot a lot good not only fruit and veggies like I thought beginning.
