Just looking at the email chains and can see that we have always responded to you within a maximum of 1 working day.
The last email we received by you was after 9PM on Friday and it was responded to this Monday morning at 8AM.
We package orders very well and used UPS to get this to you safely. I'm very sorry that the courier damaged your item in transit from the UK to Spain.
We've responded to your email so I hope you are happy with our attempts to rectify an unfortunate mishap.

Hi Jenny, thank you for your feedback, it will really help us in improving our customer service and operations. I have investigated into your order and I can see the following:
- On the cart, checkout and on your invoice, you would have seen a notice saying "Usually dispatches in 1-5 working days"
- This is sometimes the case for some products due to the issues in exact stock keeps online. In order to remove any doubt of delays to customers, we add a lead time (as above), just in case their are any delays.
- In the cart, the product will have a big, red, bold text beside it saying the lead time if the product may have delays.
- Dispatch times are different from delivery service upgrades, i.e. it was dispatched within 1-5 working days, sent on a next day upgraded service, and delivered within 6 working days.
After reviewing this, I can only assume you must have missed all of the above when checking out. I can only apologise for this, I will be implementing the following where possible, in order to improve our services and prevent this in future:
- A courtesy email/call to customers if a significant delay is likely
- Trying to make the notice more prevalent on our online store, maybe by implementing a tick box acknowledgement or something of the sort.
I hope this shows that we really work hard to make our customers experience as best as possible. I would also be happy to compensate you with a free gift on your next order with us, please get in touch so I can arrange this.

Perfect supplier for home barista gear.
Perfect service, fast delivery and great packaging.
I've purchased quite a bit from shop coffee now, they're absolutely spot on, great supplier. When you're buying home barista gear, it's not cheap, you need a trustworthy supplier who you know you can reply on to pack your gear properly and to respond quickly if you have questions, and also not take the Michael when it comes to price. You also need a supplier who are actually UK based and not one of the several annoying companies who use .co.uk domains and appear to be in the UK but who are actually grey importing gear from Italy or Eastern Europe! Shop coffee tick all of these boxes, and they're really nice people too if you ever end up dropping in to collect, or giving them a call.
