SCAMMERS, if I could give no stars I would,
Brought the Frey leather biker jacket, no where on Web sites could I find any other wording than leather, turns up and is pu and polyester.

Quality of jacket is terrible, to expensive to send back so straight to the rubbish bin.

Also they give the impression that they are in Melbourne when goods come from China and take far to long to arrive.

Bought a dress in large but there was no way it was that size. The website depicts good quality but far from it.

THEY SAY IT IS RISKY TO RETURN THE ITEM SO YOU CONTEMPLATE WHETHER TO PAY EXTRA MONEY FOR A RETURN THEY MIGHT NOT EVEN GET. SO YOU WASTE EXTRA MONEY. GIVE YOU NO CHOICE BUT TO TAKE CREDIT NOTE.

Ordered 2 shirts both XL which is my size , received the shirts no way they are extra large lucky to be size medium CAN RETURN THEM BUT IT HAS TO BE TO CHINA EVEN THOUGH WHEN ORDERED APPEARED TO BE FROM MELBOURNE

So disappointed. Took nearly 3 weeks to arrive and was expecting my 5 items to be so much nicer. Poor quality, very thin cheap material, poor fit - nothing like the lovely images on the website. Prices do not reflect the quality you get. Will not buy again.

Product alert! Very poor quality: took 5 weeks to arrive after ordering / then to return product has to go back to China! : purchase paid by customer. Everything is dodgy : buyer beware. Plus admin charge to ‘handle’ return.

Really low-quality footwear that doesn't reflect the orthopedic claim. Never have I made a negative rating complaint, but upon receipt, given that the sandals were so light and flimsy, I weighed them on my kitchen scales. The shoe weight was 95g. I also weighed an old VERY worn out Haviana thong, which 93g. I took photos hoping to substantiate my findings but there's no facility on this site. Please avoid - this product feels like cardboard.

Avoid all items too small wrong colour and fabric...scam

I bought 3 pairs of Elle striped pants ... sadly they were too small. When I tried to return them and order a larger size I found that there was a $40 for each item to be returned.... plus the cost of the 3 bigger sizes to be delivered! It would be cheaper for me to keep all three and give "them to friends" as they suggested!! absolute rip-off! Do not buy anything from this company!

I also fell for the deceptive advertising of Elle Melbourne being a Melbourne based family business. I ordered 2 pairs of supposedly leather boots. The boots are plastic and have a very strange smell . I waited weeks for the delivery of these products which are made and posted from China. The return and refund process is made extremely difficult to encourage scammed buyers to just put it down to a hopefully not to be repeated bad experience.
Please DO NOT purchase anything from this company and certainly do not accept refund in the form of future credits if you do not want to be disappointed again.

Omg I ordered leather slip on clogs /sandals they ARE NOT leather I ordered size 7 I received size 9 . O M G they are cheap and nasty. Beware of this site . Trying to get my money back ????? They say theyre in Melbourne but NO they come from China . I’ve been scammed

After waiting for a month for my order i recieved a coat today that is made out of thin cheap felt and sewn like a toddler had made it, and it stunk i should have thrown it out then but decided to wash it but it still stinks and who of us here in Australia is going to wear a f.....g felt coat.Then i opened the package containing two tracksuits oh my god made KMart tracksuits look lux anyway i washed them also the dye ran on to the lables that were on them and the smell of them is off putting so all ended up in the bin. I lost just over $200 to these scammers and it really makes me so angry that people in Australia at the moment have no one in government keeping us safe from this sort if behaviour from foreigners. People have been getting scammed and reporting these web sites for months now. These websites Elle Melbourne, and others are still allowed to carry on. Someone needs to shut them down now.

Digusting - do not buy anything from this company. They are merely drop shipping items from Shein. I ordered a pair of jeans on March 4th. They did not arrive until March 17th. What I pulled out of the bag was pure polyester 'slacks'. They did not remotely resemble the photo on the website. Missing pleats, not denim, wrong colour, no button, not fitted..., nothing.
Just not even remotely what I ordered, I cannot stress this enough.
Picture the material and quality of a little girls mermaid outfit from the $2 shop.

Same as every other review. Cheap cheap horrible dress delivered from some factory in China, not an Australian run Boutique store in Byron Bay as advertised. I've fought back and forth with "Olivia" who has finally agreed to offer a refund but only if I ship the item back to China and pay for shipping. How do I report this company? This website? It's an absolute scam and I'm disgusted so many others out there are falling for this trap

Elle is supposed to be a Melbourne company. I purchased shoes from them & want to return. You have to return them to China, pay post & $15 handling. What a set up. False advertising of business address.

ONLINE BUYERS BEWARE!!! I have been scammed again!!!! I thought I was buying from a reputable Australian company :-( I googled Australian quality women's clothing and Elle Melbourne came up saying they are sadly closing down and slashing prices. I found a couple of very nice blouses and a dress, and went ahead with the purchase. I selected a size L for all items. While going through the payment process, I was asked if I would like another item with further discount, so I said yes and thought I chose another item, but on checkout, I was now getting 2 of the same blouse!! I contacted them immediately, but didn't get a response for a couple of days. When I did get a response, it stated that If I had contacted them sooner it could have been rectified.. What a joke. The items took a long time to come, the company said they get all their stock made in China and shipped from warehouse in China [to keep costs down]. When the items arrived they were not only too small [definitely not large] and the fabric was cheap, just awful!!! and the colour was not what I had selected for one of the items. I contacted them I am not happy with them and want to return everything.
First reply was I have to cover all return expenses including $15 each item for warehouse handling costs, [I have 5 items!!!], and postage would be up to $40Aus.
Then they suggested I keep the items and they will give me a 50% discount on my next purchase. NO Way I wont be buying from them again.
Next they offered I keep the items and they will give me a 30% refund.
I said no thank you, what a rip off. I finally said I will accept a 50% refund and give all the items to charity.
They agreed, but now I haven't heard a thing since.
I have been ripped off by Au$268.00!!!! I WILL NOT BE BUYING CLOTHING ONLINE ANYMORE, I am totally over theses scamming foreigners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, like everyone else, I thought I was supporting a local Australian business. The dress I bought came straight from china, is terribly cheap fabric that looks horrible and the sizing is too small even though I sized up! Total disaster and the hassle to return may be just too hard 😒

Long anticipated wait for dress in which the colour was not as displayed on the website. I believe Goods are coming ex China, based on the long wait.
It is the nastiest poly fabric I have seen for a while, and sizes are not AU. I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.

You think you pay price for quality, but its worse than cheap shit. Ordered cashmere cardigans and it looks less grand than polar fleece, terrible cut, nothing like the pictures. It promises to be soft, well a plank is softer. Return labels not included. After searching, it needs to be send to China? I ordered this from melbourne. I'm 250 out of pocket. An absolute scam.
