DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE! They are absolutely NOT an Australian company. They do not offer returns, even though they advertise they do, and the quality is SO SO BAD!!

Do not order anything from this website. Shit quality from China, but implies it's an Australian website. If you want to return anything, you have to ship it back directly to China.

Oh my god I wish I had read these reviews before I bought anything from them. It is a total con. I got the impression it was a Melbourne based company. When the clothes arrived they were massive and really poor quality. The jumper did not look like the picture! I emailed to return them only to find out that you have to pay up to $40 per item to return. I am so annoyed. I rarely buy online and this why!!!

Sizing is completely off. Quality of dress fabric is disgusting - you can only return items if you pay postage to China.
Don’t bother, you are wasting your money!

The two dresses were meant to be XL (18) but really measuring an M (14) at most. The fabric is quite pretty but a synthetic fabric totally unsuited to our hot climate. After reading other reviews it seems pointless trying to scrape a few dollars back. I’ll donate them to Lifeline in the hope someone finds them suitable. I won’t be scammed by ELLE again!

Purchased 2 shirts marked “XL” but would be lucky to fit a 10 year old.
If you wish for an exchange or a refund forget it.
They will not respond.
This company are scammers.

Order placed 4 Feb from what appears to be a Melbourne company. Items finally received today from China.
What claim to be orthopaedic sandals are poorly made and definitely not orthopaedic.
Phebe top again is cheaply made, contains no label or washing instruction, also had numerous little black bits on it that appear to be dead insects or insect eggs.
Paid over $50 au for shoes and over $60au for top. Worth very much less and would never have bought if I had seen product first.
Washed top today, cold water, very short delicate wash, garment shrunk substantially, some seams and applique are coming apart. Not fit to wear even if it did fit me and doubt it would fit even a size xxxs.

To right 0 stars .. we should take a trip to shut them down in China 🇨🇳!!!!
Like others , paid $107.. for cheap items not worth $5 .. they were advertised as linen and are not !!
Waited 1month .. they wanted me to keep the items and maybe offer me 20% or send them back through customs which costs $30 on top .. then they take another $60 before they give me a refund?? That’s if I get one when I sent the goods back to the blood suckers !!! Dirty filthy cheats !!! Hope they get a taste of their own medicine!!!

NOT an Australia company DO NOT PURCHASE anything from this company it’s a complete scam with automated email responses that lead to nothing. I have been waiting since beginning of Feb 2025 for shoes that I’ve never received asked for a refund and still no response to that email! I have reported to the ACCC today!! Don’t get duped!!!

Absolutely agree with all the other bad reviews
I like others have been sucked in
Received two shirts which looked great on line photos
On delivery I realised I had been conned
Very cheap fabric and colour was very different from photos
Sent them back but only then realised they had to be returned to China
They tried to get me to keep them by offering 20% refund
What a joke
Bottom line I paid $30 in postage and now they are sitting in customs in China for 6 weeks !!!
Awaiting customs import tax / duty to be paid
So basically my money has gone
But!! I Will persue and make a valiant effort to get my money back / expose them
I have the time I’m retired
They stopped responding to my messages after I sent them the Australia post copy of their letter stating the holdup in China
So probably the shirts will sit in Customs for years !!!!
They couldn’t care less
And yes like others I will leave at Shopping at Myers in Adelaide

Fake positive reviews, take no notice of them. The company is false, it's overseas, as bad as Shein, Temu & other China outlets. Total scam, not based on Melb, not closing down, they need tracked down. Do not order from them. There needs to be big ZERO STAR, they don't deserve ONE STAR, buyers be warned plse. All shoes are hot to wear, cheaply made, total disgrace. Somewhere there needs an alert/review to read before making an order, once they have you, they have you. No comeback.

Absolute scam, read all the reviews before throwing your money away but note the fake 5 Star Reviews added recently, do not be fooled this is a Scam, what you order, if you get it, will not be what you think you ordered.

The order finally came after about three weeks. They only reply to your email over night because they are not in Australia, but China I ordered a linen shirt which is in fact cotton and polyester. The sizes are Chinese sizes far too small. The quality is shocking! They are not who they say they are. Elle-Melbourne is Chinese coming from "Yanwen". There is another site Sarah-Melbourne which like Elle-Melbourne says they are closing down. They have exactly the same clothes. Do not buy from these Chinese. It's a sham!

One star because you can’t give zero. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Is a SCAM. What you order vs what you get = absolute trash. You will get something, but you will also be saddened and enraged. Hiding behind a ‘family business’ image. Fake names,reviews, photos, address and all. Wish I’d done my research. You won’t get an order number, it won’t be sent with Australia post. This is worse then Temu. Be smart. Stay away. Learn from my mistake.

Chinese scam, no product, tracking in goes nowhere

Sucked in ….only buying from Myer, David Jones Blue illusion etc that I have bought from for years.
Never Again, cleverest scam I have ever come across

these are not australian made clothes as they state on the website. drop shipped clothing from china that are very cheaply made and look cheap. they want to deter you from making returns as well

They are just Temu hiding behind another business name in Australia. Check your item on Temu before purchasing. Temu will have ‘exactly’ the same item at a fraction of the cost with the same crappy quality that you expect.

A big fat ZERO! I ordered a pair of shoes. One shoe fit weird. When compared to the other shoe it was obvious they didn’t match in length or width. I took measurements and pictures and immediately contacted Elle customer service. This was in May 2024! I’m still battling with them but I don’t have much confidence I’ll ever get this resolved. I DO NOT recommend dealing with these people. I got scammed.
