Pretty much the same experience as other reviews. Ordered a sink supposedly in stock and 24hr delivery. Nothing turned up despite several phone calls and promises to go down to the warehouse and get it despatched. On 4 occasions I asked if it was in their warehouse or the suppliers. Each time was assured it was in theirs. Looked at other outlets and all were supplier direct delivery so I can only conclude they were lying to me. I have come across this twice before, including one Which recommended, both ceased trading a couple of months later. This is a case of either the supplier reducing their credit or worse using customers money as cash flow. I looked a the owners website Austen grp. They have no less than 27 separate web site brands. No co bar Amazon could hold that amount of stock. Avoid this co at all costs. I went to another outlet (TP 4.5*) and although a delay as it was out of stock I was kept in formed by email and it turned up 2 days earlier than their estimate.I also noticed several suspicious high score reviews here (despite the low av) Perhaps TP could investigate these.

i bought a Blanco kitchen tap for £150 and was not pleased to see the hot and cold knobs did not both point vertically upwards. My email asking how to rectify the problem was ignored.
some weeks later the tap began dripping for a while each time it was turned off, on asking them to help sort the problem they just replied saying "contact Blanco".
the customer support is terrible.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. I purchased a Franke sink on the 27th with next day delivery, my sink arrived 8 days later on the 4th. They blamed the supplier. This company, do not actually hold stock, when you purchase this sink, Sinks then order from the supplier and it is the supplier that sends your sink. Sinks only take your money and the customer service is not that good either.

Avoid this company at all costs! Ordered a sink from them on the 2nd December, waited in for my delivery only to receive just a (wrong) waste kit, no sink. Two days later the sink arrived with another (again wrong) waste kit, and missing items
After several phone call attempts I eventually got through, some of the staff haven't got a clue and should not be on the end of the telephone!
I am still missing parts, which I will now have to source myself as I just cannot be bothered to make several more phone calls to a) be cut off or b) be told by an automated message their phone lines only open between 09:00 - 17:00 - despite ringing between those hours. It's been a draining experience, one I do not wish to repeat or wish upon anyone else.

The final review and I wish I could give zero stars. The customer assistance Agie I had to deal with was extremely unhelpful throughout the process. The payment which they were supposed to refund to me only materialised after I involved my credit card company. I spent hours on the phone and weeks wondering what is happening with my money. I contacted this company more than 25 times (!) and in the end I had to call my credit card provider trying to find out where my refund is as the only thing I heard from the lady from Sinks.co.uk was " we cannot speed up the process", "the payment was successfully done" when there was no payment showing back on my card. This particular assistant was very unhelpful and her messages confused and lacking any substantial details so eventually even my credit card customer service people advised me to opened a credit card case against " Sinks" and we finally got our money back based on the evidence I submitted.
Seriously, if you want to spare yourself lots of troubles and worry, please go elsewhere. I got an outstanding customer service and the same items from another company in 2 days and a refund for one item I changed my mind on after 1 working day. There are many good companies but Sinks.co.uk is NOT one of them.
Unfit for purpose and no refund!
I have now had two sinks delivered from these give a damn morons. Both were bent along an edge, so the plumber could not fit them. I've demanded a refund and both sinks to be picked up. I also demanded they pay for two plumber visits. They tell me they don't compensate for their mistakes! They don't compensate for sending out unfit for purpose rubbish or aborted attempts to fit the rubbish. They put the phone down on me. I will be pursuing them and shouting about it everywhere. They need to be closed down!

How do you know if a tap works properly without water running through it?
Stupid policy as mine was installed they didn’t want to know my problem with the tap.
Now reading other reviews, I do hope other people stay well clear. I lost 100’s of pounds and I’m sure people loose a lot more.
5 weeks to obtain a refund for a tap…
5 weeks to obtain a refund for a tap that was not required and a very unclear 20% restocking charge applied despite this been illegal in distance selling regulations. Avoid!
Speedy Delivery
I purchased a sink from two other companies, the first couldn't deliver but didn't update me despite chasing them several times. So cancelled the order after 12 days. Called another company who said they had in stock and could deliver next day, but after payment, they said 12 days!
Ordered from sinks.co.uk on Tuesday and delivered the next day! I would have like some communication but other than that very happy

Speaking to Chan today about sink in the utility room, having a problem with rust and bleach damage,
After the sink been installed, I left a rag on the top of the sink, only to find that there was rust marks near the tap.
I did bring this issue up with Rugby fitted kitchens, and they said there was nothing they could do.
More recently, I’ve left a bottle of bleach standing in the sink, which I was unaware of had a tiny little hole in the bottom this is to eat on the way at the metal.
I did mate, Rugby fitted kitchens aware of this as well, and yet again, they’ve said there’s nothing they can do.
The other day, I left the rag on the draining board, only to find that this has gone rusty as well.
I’ve decided to contact yourselves directly as I’m not very happy with the sink. It’s the most expensive sink I’ve ever bought and it was hoping that it would be a lifetime before it needs changing.
I live on my own and the sink in the utility barely gets used. I would expect it after a couple years to still be in brand-new condition. This is not the case, I bought cheaper sinks for my rental properties over many years and never had a problem with stainless steel as I’ve had with the sink.

Thank you for your email regarding your sink and thank you for the images , looking at the images bleach would be an abrasive substance and has damaged protective coating and unfortunately accidental damage wouldn’t be cover within the warranty.

These rust marks may be ferrous metal which had landed on the surface and has not been cleaned off. This may be not come off when using soapy water, as the corrosion of the partials had started to bond with the surface.
All our stainless-steel sinks are made from high quality 304SS grade stainless steel.
304SS is also known as 18/10 grade (18% Chromium & 10% Nickel).
Chromium creates a protective film of chromium oxide over the surface of the sink when exposed to air. If the sink's surface is left wet or coated with food or other contaminates such bleach, the metals in the sink cannot form this protective layer and can become susceptible to stains and discoloration.
The sink cannot rust the rust stains can only be created from wet metal items left in the sink or on the drainer & they leave behind rusty spots, rings or staining. These stains are generally easy to remove with cleaning products. You could try using something a bit grittier such as Bae Keepers friend.

They say there sinks a good grade lifetime guarantee well this is not true .
shocking rude customer service
I bought a sink and "matching" plumbing kit.
I really would not describe the plumbing kit as matching as you have to cut it to size.. okay that is not a problem but what is a problem is the extremely poor quality of this kit. and even more ironic as the kit is from company " British Precision Plumbing " anything but..
then not one but two seals snapped.. they are really cheap rubber. this should not happen but okay then i thought I will just email customer services to send me two new ones.. and this is where I am giving a one star review..
no reply within 9 hours to my email so I call them.. Some exceptionally rude lady says. you haven't send any photos . i said what do you need photos of 5p broken rubber seal for.. "thats our process".. Absoulutely pathetic.. I will never buy from this company again and advise you don't either

Placed an order with several months’ lead time - no updates throughout and when I called to ask I got a lot of attitude from the lady on the phone telling me I had to wait. I then contacted them again once the expected date had passed to be told that there was a delay in production and that I could expect an update in the next week (I was not informed of the delay until I contacted them). Then didn’t hear anything, called again a week later when the product was supposed to have been shipped only to be told the person dealing with my order was not around…
To think I spent close to £1K they could not care less to deliver any sort of service

Quick and efficient service
Ordered a Franke sink yesterday afternoon which was on a very good offer then after reading the reviews on here wondered if I had made a big mistake .
Happy to say it arrived in 22 hours , the sink is faultless and the manufacturer’s packaging was pristine.
Delivered by DHL whose tracking showed that the sink was dispatched an hour after my order.

Wish I had seen the reviews before placing my order. Too late now. Received damaged product, sinks has washed their hands off it. Lesson learnt to stick to the likes of JL/Costco.
Ordered sink but order was never shipped!
Ordered a sink on Wednesday. The confirmation email was kept vague and said it will arrive “according to lead time next to product” which was 1-2 work days. The following Monday I called them as I hadn’t heard anything from them. Turns out they never even shipped the order! After I said I need the sink asap or need to cancel the order the lady cheerfully suggested I could cancel it now if I wanted. So I did. I can only hope I’ll get my money back. Sinks clearly has no interest in customers, I assume their books are full right now and customer service isn’t on their agenda. I’m underwhelmed by the whole experience and will avoid Sinks in the future.

We purchased a Franke Doric Filterflow…
We purchased a Franke Doric Filterflow tap from this company? on the 6th September 2022 as part of a kitchen upgrade. it was installed in November 2022 and everything was fine. Around the middle of Feb 23 we noticed that the hot and cold couldn't be used simultaneously, the tap would only deliver either hot or cold successfully or a dribble of lukewarm not a flow. I called Taps.co.uk to report the fault and was told that I had to contact the service department of Franke direct We didn't want the tap repaired or replaced we wanted a full refund and was told that as it had been fitted that wasn't possible. When asked for the telephone number we were told "it's online you can google it but I suppose I could find it for you" we found and contacted 'Central Services' who said I needed to fill in an online form and upload proof of purchase which we did. The reply was that the the cartridges were almost certainly faulty and replacements would be posted out to us. Sure enough the replacements arrived and when I contacted them they insisted that it was not necessary to employ a plumber I could do it myself. No I can't for personal reasons and will need to employ a professional to to the job and emailed them to say so and since then nothing more from them. So we are left with faulty taps which we paid £229.85 for that failed after 4 months of use. Sale of goods act , merchantable quality seem not to apply to either Sinks.co.uk or indeed Franke. Would I buy anything else form this company? not even if you were paying.

We had a hiccup with the order, phoned to see what had happened and Naomi got back to me within the hour and its now on its way, great customer service.
AWFUL COMPANY - AVOID
Purchased a batch feed kit for my Insinkerator for £19.99. The website said 1 working day lead time. When it had not arrived within 3 days I phoned up to query. I was told that it was coming from the manufacturer and it would definitely be with me by 7th November. The price was good so I was content to wait. When I queried it on 18th November they said that there were problems with their supplier and that I would be refunded. I checked their website and they are advertising the item as 'in stock' for £106! They dont seem to appreciate that a binding contract for the sale of an item does not depend on them sourcing it from elsewhere. Quite frankly they didn't want to sell it at the low price and wasted one month by not being up front.
DO NOT USE THEM. PRICES MAY LOOK CHEAP BUT THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT.
