Skyscanner is a really useful tool
Skyscanner is a really useful tool if you are planning your own travel and not using a travel agency or a packaged holiday.
I’ve used it now for 3 self-planned and organised international travel holidays involving multiple destinations and it’s been invaluable.
The one thing I’ve learnt is that is can struggle to put together multiple flight schedules- for instance getting to a more remote location, it will come up blank. That simply means you have to do a little more research on flight schedules (who flies from where, when etc) and then piece it all together.
But for more routine flight planning, it’s terrific.
The other limitation is has is on some of the ground transport options - ferries, trains and so on. That’s due to the variability of these services due to seasons and weather.
