Dealing with this bank brings back fond memories of yesteryear, when you actually knew your banker by name. The service is amazing and personal, the online interface easy to use and there are no fees! I'm almost hesitant to write such a glowing review for fear that a rush of customers might change the wonderful banking experience I have been enjoying so far.

Efficient and fast...WORTH IT!
Only been using for a short period time, but so far so good! Easy and fairly quick to setup. Customer service is very kind and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. They even respond quickly to emails!!!

I find no benefit to using this bank over a local bank. If you are a small non-profit they want to charge you a monthly fee to use their services, but they do give free accounts to profit earning microbusinesses. Plus their advertisement of setting up the account quickly online in 10 minutes is completely false advertisement. They do require you to speak with them before they will setup your account.

Good small bank
Not bad. So far everything works well. Customer service is friendly and responsive. Free checks too. 10 debit transaction per month required otherwise $4.95 monthly fee. Still reasonable.

Slow to get started but customer service is fantastic
After I sent in my documents I wasn't expecting to have to talk to anyone to finish setting up my account. I was hoping everything would be handled online when I had the time to spend rather being on the phone using time I couldn't afford. The representative was great and I did express that I didn't have much time, she assured me we could get this done in 15 minutes and true to her word it was over in 15 minutes. From there I had a few questions and concerns and I used the chat feature and email to reach out. Replies were fast and friendly and my questions were answered and issues resolved very quickly. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service. I wish they had bank to bank transfer and that the website and app were more modern. The lack of bank to bank transfer and having to finish account set up by phone is what prevents me from giving this a 5 star rating. Mobile deposit works well, I recieved my debit card and free checks quickly. Overall I am glad I chose Small Business Bank and do recommend it to anyone with a Micro-Business.

These Guys & Gal's Rock IT!!!
I've Been Banking with Small Business Bank for 3 years now and have to say the're freakin awesome. I know a lot of people are leary of doing business strictly on-line, especially a bank... but SBB has made the process and relationship just as personable as your favorite local coffee shop: professional, efficient, and easy to work with.. Kudos to SBB, and I just opened up a personal account recently because of the great service i've gotten over the last few years with my business account.

A little slow at first, but overall great experience
After submitting all my documents, I hadn't heard from them for about a week. When I called, they finished my application and approved my account. I just assumed they had a long list of people to call back. A status update would have been nice, but overall, it was a great experience. While many banks require you to be in business for a year or two, they don't. I also love the low fees!
