I ordered a TV on 26 November, with the usual 4-8 days turnaround and received a shipping confirmation on 28 November. All good so far!
I had not been contacted by the courier so first chased on 5 December, to which "James" responded that he would try and get an update (I did not hear from James).
I followed up on 12, 19 and 20 December, with no response from either the company or courier. This is approaching 30 days late now.
As with the other reviews, live chat refers to their email, which gives a generic "we're busy" and there is no phone number.
I will update this if there's any change, but according to their contact us page, they are closing for two weeks over Christmas, so I'm not holding my breath!

Two weeks after raising the fault on the brand new Samsung TV, they are finally arranging collection. Not their fault that the TV doesn't work properly but not great customer support and a policy that inconveniences the buyer when things do go wrong.
Quick and easy ordering process with fast delivery!
Seems like a regular pattern to this scam of a company. Ordered 65 inch tv, told would be contacted by delivery company, within 4-8 working days, never happened. Tried to contact via web chat, doesn’t work, emailed them get a response saying they will contact me within 24-48 hours, never happened. Refund requested, no response. I had to open a case with my credit card company to reclaim my funds back. Scam of a company.
Edit: I have now seen your below response and to be honest I am shocked that you are lying. You responded to me only after this negative review was left begging me to remove it and saying you would refund my money. The three emails I sent that you did not respond to prior to me leaving this review you did not respond to. The TV was never even dispatched as you could provide no tracking number.
The fact you are calling what I have written as false when I will quite happily post the email thread on here to prove my case is shocking and shows the type of company you are.
Further Edit: I have also received an email stating they are willing to seek legal advice under the deformation act unless I take this honest factual review down along with also trying to intimidate me stating:
We believe this situation can be resolved amicably. Should you choose to delete your review, we are happy to move forward without further action. However, if the review remains, we reserve the right to explore legal options to protect our business's reputation.
Rather then harass your previous customers, spend your time in offering them the service you promise

Competitively priced large screen TV, quick and good communications about delivery requirements and great online updates through the shipping process. Very polite and professional two man delivery with unpacking and careful checking that the TV was delivered in perfect condition. Nicely done. Highly recommended.
WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. i ordered a TV for £1000 + a few months ago, after weeks of emailing after the item had not been delivered (with ZERO effort to contact me), I finally got a response. My tv had been 'lost' and no one thought to contact me. 6 weeks after I purchased my original TV, this replacement arrived wrapped in black bin bags. It was only till later when I turned the device on I realised it was damaged with green spots, and burnt pixels on the screen. I messaged repeatedly for a replacement/refund with an avg response time of +1 week. The customer care employee I spoke to said I should receive delivery info for my replacement from their courier service. It has been two weeks and nothing. Now going to my bank to claim defraud! Save yourself the hassle and purchase elsewhere
I ordered an LG flat screen 48 inch television at a good price from smart appliances. There was a delay with delivery so though oh no I took a chance and I’m not going to get the TV that I hoped for.
There was no phone number on the website so I did think I had made a mistake ordering from smart appliances.
However…. They stated the TV was damaged in transit and offered me an upgraded tv or refund.
I decided to go with the upgrade and I have to say I was not disappointed. The TV was without issue and in the end I did save about 35% from normal rrp.
On this occasion the delivery was over 3

Worst company I ever dealt with, ordered a tv about a month ago. Supposed to be 4-8 days delivery time but waited over 2 weeks, no tv, no communication from the delivery company. I decided to cancel the order which they agreed on and was told I would get my refund 3 working days, waited a week nothing. Email them again it's going to be the flowing week again nothing. Lucky for me I used a credit card, called them up to do charge back under section 75 which they done straight away and I had my money back on my account. Would you believe it soon as I done that, guess what the next day I get Email from them that we have processed your refund and it will take 5 working days. They only done a refund because I informed my credit card company otherwise I very much doubt I would see my money.

Nothing delivered:
Placed an order two weeks ago. At point of sale advised it would arrive in 4-8 WD. Today is the 8th day, and not even had a delivery date booked.
Online chat facility doesn’t work, no telephone number, don’t reply to emails.
They are living behind the excuse of excessive demand owing to Black Friday. Fine, but don’t accept customer orders if you can’t fulfil them. Just greedy/ lazy/ incompetent.

You did not inform me of any delays (because your communication was non existent) and did not inform me of any delivery date/ tracking details, hence the feedback I gave you. If you had been courteous and done what you said, the feedback would have likely been different.
In the 21st century, the fact that you are a family business is totally irrelevant. We as consumers, quite reasonably expect a certain level of service/ communication, of which you miserably failed. Not having a telephone number is worrying, and you only bothered to contact me after I informed you that I was raising this with my credit card company.
Shambles of a company. Anyone reading this should view other customer comments. Clear repeat of failings.

I can highly recommend Smart Appliances. They offered the most competitive price for an LG TV I recently purchased and the delivery was very quick. Would definitely purchase from them again.
TV was purchased at a good price and arrived eight days after ordering in good condition. The delivery company arranged a delivery time and arrived promptly then unpacked the tv to check for damage and that it switched on ok before leaving.
Emailed them looking for a specific Samsung cable. Great speedy response and I got the cable for a decent price. Also helped get it delivered in quick time before I moved house!
Terrible experience. Placed an order 14/11. Received an email saying item had been shipped 16/11.
Item never arrived. I have tried contacting several times through email but no reply. There is no contact number to get in touch.

A great experience from this family run company. My TV was very reasonable on price and I am pleased with the diligence on checking the TV on delivery of any problems.
Although shipping was delayed due to quality control, this was communicated to me.
I bought an LG 48 inch OLED C3 TV. As it has recently been superceded by a 2024 model, it was offered at a heavily discounted price. The company website was informative and online ordering was easy. I even got a further price reduction using their ‘make an offer’ facility. The TV was delivered in a couple of days by efficient couriers who unpacked it. Despite being stated to be a new item, it arrived in a old box, covered in tape, with no instructions even on how to put together the stand. However the TV itself was in new and undamaged condition and seems to be in full working order. The picture is certainly much better than my old TV but not quite as exceptional as I was hoping for, based on marketing reviews. I was also disappointed to discover for a claimed brand new product that there was no manufacturer guarantee, only a 12 months’ seller warranty, but as the model is now discontinued perhaps this is understandable. I guess if you you buy an electronics product which is not factory sealed, you just have to take on trust what you are told by the seller and decide whether the risk is worth it to get a real bargain. Overall, I am satisfied with this company and my purchase.
Avoid these guys at all costs. Bought a Samsung 50" Inch TV in July. Delivery took about 2 weeks. After having the TV on for a couple of hours the back panel would overheat and pop out, They offered me a small discount. I then noticed a 5cm scratch on the screen once I removed the protective film and some light leaking through the top where the frame and the screen meet. I asked for return which took weeks to organise, they take weeks to respond to any emails, if they respond at all. Courier picked up the return on 30th August and I'm still waiting on my refund nearly three months later. They just deflect and delay and use any excuse.
Quick despatch and reliable information
I wanted a big-screen OLED TV for a new house. LG G-series is ultra-thin for wall-mounting and the Evo range is best rated by the reviews.
Current version is the G4 which is said to have higher brightness than the G3 and more powerful image processing plus new features in WebOS 4. All that is outweighed by a saving of over £1000 for the G3 against even the Black Friday prices for the G4.
The TV was delivered (a bit late, but never mind) and unpacked for me. It started right away and connected to my WiFi. I hoped to check the use-hours record, but we couldn't find it in the menus.
At first use the TV lives up to its reviews - picture quality is wonderful and, for TVs, size is important.
So, if you don't mind getting last year's model, there are big savings to be had by buying a liquidated one from Smart Appliances. And here's a tip: there is a free upgrade from WebOS 3 to 4 so you can have this year's functionality anyway.
