Very fast and efficient

Very fast and efficient. Spoke to Adam from the boiler team and him and his team ensured we got my boiler installed professionally and within a good time frame. Will definitely recommend if you are thinking of going down the ECO 4 scheme route for a new boiler.

Stay away

Where do i start...engineer was booked for the wednesday ,he cancelled on the tue said he come on the friday, 10am wednesday morn 4 men at door 2 do boiler! I had no warning, they had a look said they have 2 cut floor they was advised 2 cut it straight...they cut it in zigzag, couldnt speak good english,main part of having work done is comminication....there was none. Unfortunatly there was a black out on the street at 6pm so they had 2 go said someone be back early next morn 2 get boiler working, 12.30 next day after chasing up a man come, didnt hardly speak english, he messed about for an hour or 2 said he needed a part as boiler not working he be back shortly....never come back! Had 2 call office that day as live wires were left in old boiler cupboard...they sent electrician he was nice, most decent person who works for company id say. I spoke 2 manager..he said he compensate for floor and if i needed electric heaters or electric 2 boil kettle for a wash! Never met anyone so fond of telling lies. He then sent someone else out that eve 2 look at boiler yet again couldnt get it working, friday morn was told register boiler and get the boiler company out as it wasnt their engineers fault it was fault with boiler. Man came out saturday i have not had heating or hot water at this point since wed morn, he took one look and said they fitted wrong pipes 2 thin for water and crossed other pipes. Then had 2 have people from smart energy sense out again in the afternoon, i said i wanted people i could communicate with, manager promised, english speaking....lies again as it was the first group of people who come. They read report from boiler company and only then did they know how 2 fix the problem.
I refused 2 sign letter about damage, they called manager..he said he sort it....has not answered calls since....this is over a week ago. The brick work left at side of house is laughable a 2 year old could do better! No respect for property or for me. I have bi polar and it really triggered me the manager could of not cared less.
Stay away..do not use...keep your eye out on company house as they prob just dissolve company and open a new one in new name as they have done previously. Shocking bunch of cowboys

Musa’s & his team worked so well…

Musa’s & his team worked so well fitting my boiler, they were a great team & worked well together. They were very careful with looking after the house. Also things were explained very well. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Sunday installation guys from…

Sunday installation guys from Birmingham team, amin and apprentice came and installed boiler, neat and tidy, very nice and friendly, explained everything to us. Will highly recommend.

Ha ha! Tell me....

Tell me someone hasn't said "we've had a few pelters on Trustpilot, be on your best behaviour, tidy up after yourselves and ask the customer to leave a review", without telling me "we've had a few pelters on Trustpilot, be on your best behaviour, tidy up after yourselves and ask the customer to leave a review"!!!

Such a shame that my house was left in such a state. I'm saddened not to have got this unexpected 5* 'clean' and 'tidy' experience. Makes it even more baffling that their manager hasn't returned my calls and emails to delve into why the high standards of cleanliness slipped on that occasion?

At the installation in my home, they couldn't manage to put an empty can of Tango in the bin. That was the least of my worries compared to the rest of the mess. Do they bring their own rags? At my house they used a brand new, unused set of tea towels as rags (profile picture showing ground in dirt stains and silver foil-like solder can be changed upon request) and threw my clean bath towel, screwed up and soaking wet into the bath. That's not to mention rubbish strewn all over the kitchen, the backyard and a box of waste fly-tipped on the pavement. Oh, and the fridge and freezer was unplugged when they knew I wasn't going to be back at home for two days (my landlord was present at the installation).

It's also amazing how many of these 5* reviews have suddenly appeared from the start of February. I wonder how many of these posters can honestly confirm that they were or weren't asked to write a review? Particularly from those who have only made one post? They'll even save you the hassle if necessary and write It on the customers behalf e.g. 'consumer'. It doesn't appear to me to be very 'authentic', therefore meaningful to any potential customers?

Why are there no 2, 3 or 4 star ratings? Is this a Marmite company, where they're simply amazing or truly awful, with nothing in between?

Other questions that could be asked are: Has any customer ever spoken to a manager to resolve an issue? Do the engineers offer to leave the old boiler, or do they help themselves to it and weigh it in?

Haha! You've got to give it to them. At least they're 'clean' and 'tidy'!

Such a brilliant company who have…

Such a brilliant company who have worked tirelessly to help me and my situation. I was without heating in a very old house with an old heating system. Luckily I had hot water due to the tank still working, but no heat made the winter really tough. Alisha was so helpful in managing the application and then from acceptance by the council, the boiler was fitted literally the next day. From start to finish, I can’t thank the team enough for helping!
The lads who fitted the boiler and removed the old system were unbelievably efficient and helpful too

Fantastic company and wonderful…

Fantastic company and wonderful install.
Dealt with two young girls in the office, until the work men started coming round, and they were all excellent. So useful, so knowledgeable and I know the girls went above and beyond to get my application through. I have had hot water on and off for the last 18 months and an ancient boiler that rattled for hours on end - now, all of a sudden, I have constant hot water and peace.
I am so grateful for everything. The workmen were fantastic, I can’t praise everyone enough. I even got a bathroom ventilation fan!
Recommended half of my bowls club and will continue to do so.

An easy process from start to finish

An easy process from start to finish.

From my initial contact the company has worked hard to fit in with my requirements.

They are easily contacted and any issues are quickly resolved and rectified (the first surveyor failed to turn up)

The instillation team were prompt, polite, professional and worked hard all day.
They informed me of what would be happening and tidied up any mess.

I hope if there are any issues with the boiler following instillation, these will be resolved with the same efficency and effectiveness.

Please ignore all bad reviews and trust this excellent company to carry out a 1st class job.

Having just completed our free boiler / loft insulation / ventilation work under the ECO funding scheme I feel it necessary to praise and thank the whole team who carried out all the work on behalf of Smart Energy Sense.
From start to finish the various teams have been so professional, polite and provided excellent comunication skills at every stage of the job.
The old boiler, water tank and all debris were removed with no fuss.
So please ignore all bad reviews and trust this excellent company to carry out a 1st class job.

Embarrassing company

For the person that’s wrote that all the information is fake that has been put up about this company it’s absolutely not we worked there for 2 months sayin we would be given help if we started to slip but no I was sacked under no notice and under no pay for the last week I had worked when asked for the money I was swore at by Marvin one of the company managers or boss and also for the person who’s wrote the false 5 star review 2 people I met while working there smoked dr ugs
While working there so if it’s one of use take down ur post uve not got a leg to stand on

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. We had a boiler replaced under the government grant scheme due to ill health and issues with being in the cold. We had a working (but very old) boiler and a house with working radiators (granted some downstairs barely worked). We now have a new boiler and no heating at all. The lads who fitted the boiler were lovely, however w have been told we need new pipes. This should have been checked by the ‘surveyor’ who attended prior to the works being carried out. We are now a week in since the boiler installation, freezing temperatures and no further on. When we phone we are promised a call back. If it happens the person hasn’t appraised themselves of the situation but they will look into it. This needs sorting urgently- we have just been left.
