Smart Home Protection have always been very reliable.
They keep appointments on time
They rectify problems quickly - usually batteries needing replacing- no longer necessary as we are now connected to the internet.

Only recently had this system installed but so far so good! Full explanations at every step, quick and clean instillation. Reassuring that we can move this with us when we want to move! Feel very confident that we’ve made the right decision to move to this expensive alarm but at the end of the day, how do you quantify peace of mind? Would definitely recommend.

As up to this moment in time we are more than happy with our alarm system
My wife forgot to set the alarm and went shopping, after realising, she just set it off her mobile without having to drive back home from town
Another time she forgot to turn the alarm off and once it was activated smart home protection was calling her mobile before she actually had time to turn it off

Good efficient clean installation and fully checked.

I’ve been with Smart Home Protection
Ltd for about 3 years now. I’ve never had any issues and if on the odd occasion I have to contact them , I find there after service really good . They are friendly and very efficient. Initially I shopped around before I purchased the alarm package with Smart Home and found them to be very competitive and good value for money . I would defiantly recommend this company .

So far so good I felt no pressure to purchase the system salesman was polite and empathetic he did however get the cost of Careline wrong He didn’t encourage me to have more than necessary Cost very competitive with similar products on the market
The fitter despite being late was also very good explained everything well for me to understand He offered solutions to make things easy for me and completely checked I knew what to do and how to use the system to my convenience

Firstly, I would like to state that I cannot comment on either the product or the service provided by Smart Home Protection. This posting is to bring to your attention some conditions (which I hope you will never need or that you will have had them fully explained at the point of sale). Sadly, my Father passed away and as his Executor I contacted Smart Home Protection. I was surprised to learn that even though there was still a year to run on the contract no refund would be made. So, please be aware that if you sign up to and pay in advance there doesn’t appear to be any circumstances where a refund would be made. Think about that if you sign up to a 5 year contract. Also as a Company that has the ISO 9001 quality standard I feel it has not conformed to the first Outcome of that standard that states “Consumers can be confident they are dealing with firms where the fair treatment of customers is central to the corporate culture.”

The Man who first came out to see us was very easy to listen and talk too,a the alarm fitter did a good job and explained everything too us and how too use alarm setter, very good thank you x

Very happy with alarm system but after system was fitted our phone system did not work , after bt engineer found fault had to disconnect alarm system from phone .
After contacting Shp they sent a engineer out the same day and was able to resolve the issue.

Great service. No hard sell. Clear explanation of the system. Easy to operate.

Fantastic Upgrade!! Recently upgraded our security system to include 'snap' cameras in rooms where my elderly mother is likely to be. Amazing app on my phone (and my two sisters) means that if an alert happens (security, fire or panic button) our phones also get the alert wherever we are. Absolutely thrilled with this upgrade, and it was done quickly and efficiently.
Only slight grouse that you had to sign up to a further five years there and then, in our case with four years left to run on a ten year agreement BUT the new kit was free. A shame, as actually we are completely loyal users and would not consider changing security provider under any circumstances!!
I suspect the system will move with me when my mother passes on.....

From the up-front honest cold phone call to the face to face sales presentation and the installation of the system the service has been excellent.

Our original Home Protection System was installed in January 2013 and has covered us for break-ins, fire and health.It was installed by Smart Home Protection's local technician and regularly serviced by him. The system has proved reliable, and on the occasions when we have forgotten to disarm it we have received a rapid response from the call centre. A useful exercise if only to reinforce any worries that there is no one to help when needed.
One of the draw backs to the system is the worrying when you think you had forgotten to set it, some many miles away from home.
The up-grade, that has just been installed, was professionally completed by out local technician. The new system has incorporated new technology associated with better communication from access to wifi and mobile phones. From our mobile phone app we are now able to check and even set or unset our system - peace of mind. Also any faults are immediately accessed centrally and either remotely rectified or a technician dispatched to sort it. All in all a very satisfied customer.
