Fantastic Snag completed by SnagCheck Solutions!

I have just completed on a new build property and booked SnagCheck Solution to do a full report on the home. This report, with pictures, descriptions and advisories was sent to me the same day. I have then been send this to the developer who is to rectify the issues raised. I would recommend to anyone for peace of mind and to ensure any issues (we would have not found ourselves) can be rectified.

We even had thermal pictures sent so we can identify any pipe work. Great communication and price.

After putting a reservation down on a newbuild property 6 months ago, I started the process of making sure I was best prepared to face all the challenges that come with owning a new build property.

I spoke to no less than 5 snagging companies, some sounded fantastic in finding faults and pointing out things that were wrong but after talking to Ian at SnagCheck, I was just made to feel comfortable and reassured, he made it sound like he did what I wanted, to make sure the house was to a good standard and helping put the wrongs, right.

I can not fault Ian for the day he spent at my house, he pointed out obvious things we had already spotted, he pointed out hidden things but most importantly he explained what was important to get rectified immediately and what was nothing more than a minor inconvenience.

I believe SnagCheck Solutions is a fitting name as they don't just point out faults, they give you solutions on how best to move forward.

I ve just moved into a new build house and Ian did a snagging survey and report for us. I would highly recommend Ian to you. He s a lovely person with expert knowledge. He sent our report to us on the same day and added a couple of items into the report that were our suggestions. He highlighted things to us that we wouldn’t have seen for eg using a drone to view the roof tiles.The report was very detailing including photographs to back up as evidence of faults found plus thermal imaging. His report was sent to our builders and instigated their doing a walk through of our house and issues found in the report. Was money well spent and exceeded our expectations.

Just purchased and moved into a new build property and booked Ian to do a professional Snagging surgery for me. Something I’ve never had done before in my previous new build property but very much a thing I will do if I ever move into a new build again. Ian was thorough throughout the property and found many items my eyes hadn’t seen, including things that could have potentially caused major issues in years to come if Ian hadn’t seen them.

The report Ian sent through after the survey was completed was very clear and easy to understand and was sent out the next morning.

I’d highly recommend Ian. His communication before and after was fantastic. On the day he carried out the survey, he clearly explained everything to me and was detailed in the checks he carried out. The report he sent was easy to understand and he sent it exactly when he said he would. The peace of mind it has given me is well worth the cost.

Ian was amazing. He was so thorough with his work and went into meticulous detail of any issues he had found.

There is no way myself and my partner could have ever known half the things which Ian was able to pick up. He explained each issue precisely with ourselves and stated what should happen next and to call back if we have any issues.

Ian recently snagged my new build and I am delighted with the service provided. A genuinely nice guy and excellent professional. He spent many hours inspecting the build and was very thorough. What I was also impressed by was the way he explained things in a way that I could understand. 90% of the snags I would never have noticed so very pleased with this. The report was detailed and easy to pass on to the developer.

The following day Ian contacted me to ask about another snag he had remembered and then updated the report accordingly, this shows that he will go above and beyond for his customers.

Outstanding service.

Ian came out the day after I moved into my new build home and spotted a number of things I just wouldn't have noticed myself such as the guttering, flashing to a Velux window and broken roof tiles. He also picked up numerous other imperfections to paint work, issues with doors and lintels, issues with tiling in the en-suite and the biggest was a leak. Thanks to him spotting this, the site team came out and dealt with it the same day and rectified the plasterwork and paintwork before my flooring was laid. Ian even came back a couple of times during the following week to make sure the damp was drying out and the leak had been resolved using his thermal imaging camera.

We recently moved into our new home and Ian came to do a snagging report for us. He is professional and thorough. The report was emailed through the same day. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Having experienced issues with my last new build I decided to go for a pro-snagging survey on my new property. I thought I was thorough and had strong attention to detail, but Ian (SnagCheck Solutions) is on another level!!! He identified hundreds of issues including a leaking shower, debris in the guttering (spotted with his drone), cosmetic faults, and electrical issues. Well worth the money.
