The sofabed is comfortable and well made. I called the company a few times with questions about the size of the product, to ask for fabric samples, and later for advice about attaching the bolt-on arms I'd chosen (which I found a bit tricky to attach) - they answered promptly, were knowledgeable about the product and keen to help.

Good quality for use as a sofa and bed. Lots of choice.
Delivered on time. We have used the sofa bed over Christmas for visiting family. Very satisfied.

Reading the other reviews I'm surprised they are all so positive. My sofa bed arrived aesthetically it looks great but will agree with previous review the cushions are a bit on the hard side. My daughter was the 1st to sleep on it and said it was so uncomfortable she slept on better blow up beds. Very disappointing as we paid extra for a hotel upgrade mattress. Tried it myself and have to agree the mattress is very low grade you can feel the wooden slats underneath when you lay it on it. Gutted as having read the returns policy I don't have a leg to stand on. Wish I had gone with a reputable company like Loaf who would of offered a far better returns policy. The only reason I didn't was because they couldn't deliver in time for Christmas but I've paid similar money and got a very low grade standard product just because they offer fast delivery please wait for a more quality product with a better returns policy. I did speak to James today and he did say if the matress was defective he could send a new one but I don't see the point just believe I bought a very low grade product

A great sofabed and fabulous customer service from the team. I struggled for a long time to find a sofabed which would fold out to a double bed but fit through my narrow doorways. After a call to the company going over the measurements I ordered and the sofa was ready in less than three weeks. Unfortunately the delivery company let me down and claimed they wouldn't be able to get the sofabed into the house but James pulled out all the stops and arranged to deliver the sofabed himself a few days later. He and Tim also assembled it, showed me how to unfold it and took away all the packaging. I'm so delighted with it and can't recommend them enough!

Very simple order process, good communication, order came through on time and very helpful delivery team. Sofa is lovely. Good quality. The only reason for 4 rather than 5* is the very strong smell that still has not cleared and which presumably is from the fire retardants etc used.

We are really pleased with our new Dewsbury sofabed that was delivered yesterday. It looks fantastic and is really comfortable. We are yet to sleep in it but I am sure it will be great as we had the bed out to try.

Thanks to James in the office for all his help with our order. It is so rare nowadays to receive such good personal service. Finally thanks to the two delivery men who put the sofabed in our spare room. They could not have been more helpful.

We received the sofa bed in 2pieces due to access.It was really difficult to line up to insert the 3 screws to attach the arm to the main sofabed. It took 3 hours . As a disabled person I thought the chaise would be more support than a usual sofa but it was extremely uncomfortable, though very attractive to look at., a good colour and beautifully made. After 1 week the arm disconnected from the main part which was dangerous. In the end we put the arm end away and now use just the sofa end. Very dissappointed ,but as we had opted to assemble ourselves we thought it pointless to approach for assistance. A lot of money was wasted, although the remainder of the chaise is in use as a sofa. The chaise was made to our specification and within 4 weeks as promised. Service and delivery was good .

Wonderful product and stellar customer service

Very easy to get the bed out of the sofa,nice quality material, good size. Unfortunatley,the seat cusions are too firm and not very comfortable after a couple of hours.

We contacted sofabed co uk after a very poor experience with someone else where we had to cancel our order. Excellent from start to finish, very efficient, helpful and friendly on the phone. Easy process. Sofabed delivered very quickly (within 3 weeks) delivered to room we wanted even though we are on second floor of our block with no lift. Very happy with the sofabed quality and comfort

The company was very good to deal with. I spoke to a very helpful male salesperson who advised me and insisted I got some of the samples before I made my choice of fabric. Delivery was a little less straight forward as my original delivery date was slightly delayed by two days. Then the item arrived at 9.30 at night but the delivery company had made a big effort to get the furniture to me on the date they had rearranged. And this is a delivery company and totally separate from sofabed.co.uk. Having said this, I still received my order several days before the sofabed.co.uk estimated arrival date which was excellent. As for the furniture itself, it looks good and doesn't take up much room . I have been sleeping on it for the last two nights and actually it was surprisingly comfortable. I upgraded to a better quality mattress and I would recommend this. The only downside for me is that it is quite narrow and not terribly long. I am 5ft 6 and only just fitted onto the mattress. So not suitable for a tall adult really.
But overall, I would definitely recommend sofabed.co.uk. All a positive experience

I have the lovely Dewsbery Sofabed. As I am under 5 feet, a senior person with back problems I usually need extra cushions and props to get into a comfortable position. Sofabed also supplied me with some lovely bespoke extra cushions matching the sofa. The sofa bed has a good quality frame and bed and the cushions are very supportive. I needed the sofa bed quickly as family were visiting and the bed was delivered in plenty of time.
Our special thanks to James, for all the hard work to make the sofa extra comfortable for me.
Due to a slight production change the screw in feet did not quite match the website pictures but was sent out another set in only 2 days. Very good after sales service.
I also recommend their comfortable foot stool. It also houses all the bedding after the guests have gone. Good solid seat as well.

After recently being let down by another well known sofa company I was dubious about placing an order online elsewhere. This company has restored my faith! Outstanding service from first point of contact, fabric swatches received in a matter of days and my order delivered just over two weeks after placing it ! My Cheshire double box bed is perfect. Exceptionally well made, very sturdy and the fabric suits my room perfectly. Couldn’t be happier! I wouldn’t hesitate to order from this company again .
