We’d already “decided” on a suite from DFS when my husband suggested we have a look in Sofology, “just in case they had something nicer”.
What a mistake that was, there was SO much choice, it took us forever to decide 🤣🤣🤣
We finally did decide and were taken through everything by Gary, he was so helpful and informative and never hassling us, just let us know he was there if we needed anything. Would deffo recommend the choice in store and Gary’s excellent service.

I found the retail unit relaxing and the furniture well laid out, each having a swatch with the various colours and material types next to the appropriate items. The assistant was very helpful, though also allowing me to browse at my leisure. I found exactly what I was looking for in a two seater sofa, in a favourite colour, and couldn't leave without buying the item. Though a fifteen week wait for my purchase was highlighted, I was sufficiently happy to accept.

We ordered our sofa on 12 October 2025 and were advised it would be delivered “in time for Christmas.” That assurance was a key factor in our decision to proceed.
Unfortunately, Christmas delivery did not happen. The first indication that this was unlikely came in mid-December. Initial explanations referenced high demand and bad weather, but later communications acknowledged supplier issues, depot errors and internal system problems.
A £500 goodwill payment was agreed in late December when we were told delivery was expected in early January. In reality, delivery did not take place until 5 February 2026 following further delays.
To be fair, the sofa itself is excellent and we are very happy with the product quality. The issue was entirely the delivery process and the inconsistent explanations provided along the way.
The experience left us feeling that seasonal delivery assurances should be given with greater certainty, particularly when placed as early as October.
Great product. Very disappointing logistics and complaint handling.

A brilliant experience visiting Sofology today in Liverpool Speke store, Steve was brilliant, friendly and informative. We were made to feel comfortable throughout and it was genuinely a pleasure to purchase our new sofas from there, would 100% go there again.
