Our experience of part exchanging and buying a newer vehicle with The Somerset Motorhome Centre has been an extremely positive one, and we would certainly recommend them! The whole process was easy and painless. Our thanks to Zack and Rob in the sales team - particularly to Rob who had to contend with our many questions! A couple of things needed changing - at Rob's suggestion - and these were done as part of the extensive preparation package. Our thanks to all the team who handled that part, and gave us the very thorough introduction to our new vehicle (where, again, we were given all the time we needed for questions!). We had a small issue on our first drive and that was addressed very swiftly when Russell rang us back 'on the road.' We received both a letter and an email after making our purchase, which made us feel valued as customers, despite being 'at the smaller end' of the market. In summary, we were very impressed with the professionalism of everyone at SMC and feel confident we have done the right thing in purchasing from them.
And, as a PS, this morning we received a follow-up call to an email we sent just 48 hours ago detailing some issues and (further!) questions we were hoping for advice on. Simon's call put our minds at rest and further reinforced our view that SMC are an excellent company to be dealing with! We are very pleased we made that decision!

We visited Somerset motorhome centre looking for something smaller than our previous van.We were met by John one of the sales team who was extremely helpful and answered all our questions.We decided to purchase the little van and couldn’t wait to pick it up on 9 th August.The day arrived we were there early but that didn’t bother Paul he went through all the paperwork and clearly explained everything to us.We then went through the handover and again paul was extremely helpful.Nothing was to much trouble for them.We decided we wanted new back cushions made and the reversing camera altered. again no trouble Paul got the cushions sorted for us and booked the van in to get the camera sorted for us.All has now been done and we’re so grateful to Paul and the lovely staff of Somerset motorhome centre we can’t thankyou enough for all the help and advice given to us kind regards gaynor and Derek Kedward

Bought our first motorhome from these guys recently. Excellent service from start to finish. All staff helpful and respectfull. Plenty of choice and no pushy salesteam.
Colection team again all helpfull and respectfull. Nothing is to much trouble for theses guys.

We purchased a motorhome from Somerset motorhome centre, after seeing it at the Southern Motorhome Show in May this year. From the sales team, to the handover, all went smoothly. Throughout the process, we received excellent service. We are delighted with our motorhome, and would not hesitate doing business with them again.

Our first motorhome, we couldn’t have found anyone better than Somerset motorhomes for our first big purchase.. We were greeted by Josh who was welcoming and listened to what was important to us. We were shown 5 motorhomes that were an exact match to our wish list, then asked if we wished to be accompanied or view on our own. We chose to view on our own and found a motorhome that we were more than interested in and requested more information.

Josh answered all our questions, gave details of the history, totally comfortable at all times, never felt pushed or being sold to, just helping us to find what was right for us. Given a price and then visited 5 other motorhome centres in Somerset and Devon but in the end made the journey back to Somerset Motorhomes. Josh and the team were amazing, came up with solutions for an upgrade to head unit/ sat nav agreed a reduced price, given a date for collection and paid deposit.

Amazing after sales support before pick up, including installation of new head unit, anti theft devices and possible tow bar problem.

On pick up Paul and Paul so helpful and informative, the handover was just what we needed as it was our first motorhome, left totally informed and comfortable driving away a sizeable purchase in terms of physical size and cost. The handover team spent time and quickly sorted out a last minute problem with the detachable tow bar. We drove to a local campsite (paid for by Somerset Motorhomes) to experience our first night and told if we encountered any problems to come back in the morning to see them … superb confidence in them to deliver on their promises.

The first time we took the motorhome away there was an issue with the Towbar electrics, from calling Laura on reception, Steve and Paul couldn’t have been more helpful.

Sorry for the long review but these guys deserve there praise, from sales to customer support to management a 100% enjoyable experience. For first time motorhome buyers these guys were a real blessing ……. Thank you Somerset Motorhomes.

We recently purchased a Auto-Trail tribute from Somerset Motorhome Centre and what a fantastic experience it was. Stuart at the sales centre was extremely helpful and professional without being pushy and we were left to look around without being pressured. We found a Super motorhome and agreed on a very fair price. When we picked it up from their collection site Paul showed us thoroughly how things worked, nothing was too much trouble for him.
I cannot recommend the Taunton Motorhome Centre highly enough. Thank you so much Stuart and Paul for making this experience such a success.

We recently purchased a motorhome from Somerset Motorhome Centre and the whole experience has been positive. Jon was very patient while we pondered for ages what to buy and were very informative. We also got to test drive the vehicle which had been a worry for us. Once we made our purchase, the service was efficient and the team continued to answer our questions via email. The handover day went well and was extremely thorough. We were given a free night at a local campsite to try out the van. On leaving for home we noticed some extreme squeaking and were supported by Stuart at the service centre to get it checked out before we drive it back to Cornwall. We hope that we don't have to use their after sales service but would like to thank the team at Somerset Motorhomes for their service so far.

We brought our motorhome last November and we thought the sale process and us collecting was amazing they realy are very nice friendly people and they dont pressure you,they update you every step of the way, they gave us a free night at a local campsite which was great, we contacted them recently as our camera wasn't working and we had a leaking tap again the service was great we was booked in and the tap and camera has been replaced with no problems a great company

We had been looking for s motorhome for a while, when we found one we liked at Somerset motorhome Centre.
I have to say, the staff where excellent from the off. They were Helpful, professional and gave us plenty of time to look and ask questions without any

From the first phone call the staff exceeded all of my expectations. Every department is equally efficient, friendly, professional and communicative.
My Motorhome has been exactly as described/photo'd/video'd. No nasty surprises. Even the, "back-to-base warranty with common sense" because I live 7 hours away, has lived up to its promise of allowing me to have a small issue fixed locally.
I cannot praise these guys highly enough. They absolutely nail what they do.
They are an absolute diamond in the Motorhome business.

Through the whole process of part exchange and purchasing my Motorhome with Somerset Motorhome Centre, (SMC) both my wife, and I, had nothing but confidence with the attentive and experienced staff. The strong company ethos and values permeates all the staff that we met; distinguishing SMC as second to none, in regard to their customer care. The aftersales support, in particular, has been exceptional from Nicki and the technician team. We recommend, without reservation, SMH who have consistently exceeded our expectations in the service that we have received.

Recently got a campervan from SMC. The sale was totaly genuine with no pressure and everthing Zac promised us was delivered and on time. We noticed a paint blemish and Paul at the service centre completed the paint work as promised. An excellent service from a trustworthy company. My many thanks to all the sales and service srtaff.

Second time buying from this company and again the whole process was a delight from part exchange to collection however the aftercare deserves a special mention. While staying at the included campsite, after collecting the new van, Storm Bert claimed the roof vent and sent it sailing into a nearby field. The following day a member of the team ensured both the van and I had somewhere safe and dry to stay until the vent was replaced. Despite the fact this was a Sunday and his day off, Paul went beyond above and beyond to ensure all ended well. Thank you Paul.

As first time motorhome buyers we were treated to a professional and superb experience. From viewing to taking delivery was made a pleasure. The sales team were extremely helpful and professional and nothing was too much trouble. The after sales was second to none with superb service and again nothing was too much trouble. Overall we had a superb experience from a truly superb company. Would highly recommend.

Sold my van to Somerset Motorhomes. No hassle and straightforward transaction. The two men who came to collect it were friendly and professional and rang to let me know what time. Many thanks for a smooth easy sale.

I phoned to enquire about a VW Rollinghomes Livingston advertised on their website at £36,995. I telephoned again the same day, after viewing all the photos, in order to leave a deposit and reserve the vehicle. I was told that as I was a previous customer, they would not need a deposit, as long as I travelled down to see the vehicle the next morning and complete the transaction. I duly turned up the following morning and agreed to buy the campervan. Whilst waiting in the camper van for a part ex value on my current van, I was then told that the price of the VW, which I had already reserved, had gone up to £44k!!!
I am outraged by this - it is totally unprofessional, unethical and potentially illegal, since I had already verbally confirmed I would buy the VW at the advertised price of £36,995. They did not offer to compensate me for my time nor my mileage costs in making a wasted journey. I was just sent on my way with nothing. I am appalled!!
DO NOT TRUST THiS COMPANY !!!!!

No pressure sales walk in the place you don't get pounced on the second you walk in and hounded to buy a motorhome.
With an ever changing stock theres always something new to look at there so if the motorhome you want is not there keep an eye on their website or just ask the staff to keep an eye out for what you are after.
Purchasing what you want is a breeze the sales staff are excellent at what they do and make the purchase smooth & simple for you.
Collection day (love it) you are welcomed at the pick up centre to collect your motorhome in a freshly valeted motorhome and nothing is a rush everything explained and honestly nothing is any trouble.
The above is a completely true and honest review backed up by the simple fact we are driving around in our second motorhome that we purchased from the Sommerset Motorhome Centre since 2016 and honestly if we even ever considered purchasing another one we would not hesitate in coming back to buy a third.
With an outstanding after sales service that really is second to none if you are considering purchasing a motorhome without the horror stories you read on the internet,
Don't hesitate to go to the people who have set the standard for others to follow awesome amazing service.
