Back in March 2020 I was unfortunately knocked off my Motorbike.

My main worry was my bike being written off and having difficulty getting it back and on the road again.

Fergus from SorryMate is an absolutely stellar solicitor, and successfully and lucratively resolved my compensation claim following a motorbike accident. I am extremely pleased that I chose SorryMate to represent me, as their handling of motorcycle claims and expertise about the particulars of such cases seems exemplary. Bikers, I have learned, face certain unique challenges when claiming for accidents that were not their fault, which is what happened with mine, so having a team that knows what these challenges are is imperative. After being knocked off my bike by a careless driver, Fergus came and met me personally in hospital when I was recovering from my complex injuries. He then stayed in contact with me and managed my claim every step of the way, diligently organising rehabilitation, therapy, multiple independent diagnoses of my many injuries over a long period, organising complicated evidence from disparate sources, and advising a barrister to determine possible outcomes. We were in email and telephone contact on a regular basis, and every time I had a question or query, Fergus answered it in an extremely timely and professional manner, and I knew I could rely on him to explain legal matters I was confused about. He even graciously dealt with my frustration at how long it was taking to recover from my injuries in a calm and courteous manner, it was really above and beyond anything I could have expected. What's more, is that I can confirm that he organised all this and no money ever changed hands – the service really is "no win, no fee", and the costs that SorryMate bore determining my injuries and helping me recover from them were substantial, yet I was not asked to pay a penny more than the fee agreed at the start of our relationship, which I paid quite happily when the compensation finally arrived. One word to note, and this is in no way a criticism of SorryMate, but rather the insurance industry as a whole, is that my claim did take a few years to resolve, because I first had to recover from my injuries (three broken limbs), then I needed more corrective surgery leading to more rehabilitation before the full extent of the long-term impact on my health could be assessed. Thankfully, Fergus was with me for the long-haul, through global lockdowns, a change in ownership structure at their business, and many many emails and questions. At no time did he become impatient or unmotivated, and was a constant clear presence that reassured me that he would win my claim, and he did. I can confirm that everything that he ever said he was going to do, he did, and now all my losses and injuries have been compensated at a level that I am delighted with, as the compensation won will now afford me the opportunity to put this accident behind me and move on to a brighter future. If you're here reading this, then it's likely that you too have been involved an accident, so I wish you well in getting a resolution to it, and can assure you that Fergus and SorryMate will do everything they can to provide the right legal remedy for you. Due to covid circumstances the process took longer than expected due to delays with the insurers, but once Catherine Brown was on the case it all went smoothly she was always available when I called her dedicated number or emailed her. Catherine was very knowledgeable and very helpful with her advise and made the process very easy to do and understand.

Good customer assistant and do there best get you what you deserve after a accident

I was riding my motorbike. Over taking in traffic with nothing coming my way when a taxi decides to do a uturn without the use of Wing mirrors. Both my and his insurance claim it was knock for knock. Therefor sorry mate got involved and to there credit they won damages for me and my helmet and clothing

Communication during this transition was bad. My assigned solicitor left the business without telling me, and I only found out when I called to ask for an update on my case when my emails were going unanswered.

Communication afterwards was OK. Sometimes it would take a while to receive a reply on emails, but I understand that cases can take a while.

Yes the solicitor got me a nice lump sum of money but we never got offered rehabilitation after our injuries or any physiotherapy it could have been better and a little more money would have been nice yours kymsummer scarce
