The whole procedure was quick and painless, and the staff informative, friendly, and reassuring. My distance vision is now excellent, and I only need glasses for extended reading. I am absolutely delighted, and very grateful.

First class service from start to finish. Very well organised and very professional. Friendly staff - all reassuring too. Cataract operation was fine. Had a bit of pain later but telephoned SpaMedica help line and my surgeon phoned me personally 30 minutes later to give the me the advice and additional reassurance I sought .EXCELLENT in every way. Why the NHS can’t be as organised as companies like I just do not know.

I had a good experience having my cataract removed and replaced with an nhs lens. But - I was not made aware at just how bad the reading ability would be with the nhs lens. I cannot read anything.

I was put ease from the moment i arrived. The staff are friendly, the place very clean. The op itself was great, it was like going to dentist, but less painful. On the 2nd day after op, i was so excited, how clear and far i could see. 4wks later my optician say's i've now 20/20 vision in my right eye. My op was on the NHS . I can't wait to have my left eye done.

Staff, nurses and surgeon all very friendly and put you at your ease, Cataract op very quick and painless, waiting times for appointment very quick.

I needed both eye cataracts removed and from my first pre op appointment to the second cataract being removed my treatment has been excellent. My thanks to all the staff at SpaMedica at Capability Green for looking after me.

You go with obvious trepidation the first time but the the team of nurses etc are so helpful you soon relax as they explain all that will happen and the outcome is so much more than expected especially after both eyes are treated.

Whole procedure was without discomfort. Vision now absolutely perfect.

All appointments were were arranged to suit my calendar and I was not kept waiting. The operation wenr really well. All the staff are very helpful and freindly. The surgeon was excellent, gave great advice and kept me relaxed and fully informed throughout.

I had my cataract surgery on 27/4/26 at Wokingham SpaMedica, honestly all the staff there are amazing, I felt like I was a private patient not NHS, everything is explained to you, the clinic is extremely clean, I must say I saw the lady who does the cleaning numerous times busy keeping everything perfect!! There is free tea and coffee which is a bonus!!! The staff make all your fear go away, they are all very friendly and calming, my surgeon was very nice also a very calming manner, I actually couldn’t believe how quick the surgery was, excellent explanation of after care aswell, in the evening I realised just how bad my eyes were, everything is clearer, I don’t have to sit on top of the tv to watch it!! I’m looking forward to getting my other eye done, again the care of all at SpaMedica was absolutely superb and I would highly recommend SpaMedica at Wokingham to everyone.

I had a cataract op. at Spa Chelmsford 6 days ago. I had requested the new lens set for long distance vision.
Plenty of bright lights, some mild discomfort but no pain, the op. went well.
Next morning everything was blurred, long, middle distance and close up, all blurred. By evening I was VERY despondent and phoned at around 5pm, I got a call back from an advisor within a few minutes. She said that sometimes the eye gets distorted during the op. and will return to normal shape gradually. (What great service at 5pm).
Next morning things were a little better, but the following day I could count the leaves on the trees and read a car number plate at 40 metres. I am delighted.

I am especially grateful to my Surgeon Dr Sarit, who took the time to personally greet me before the surgery. Her expertise and passion for her work were evident as she explained each step of the procedure, even singing along to the radio in the theatre, which created a calming and pleasant atmosphere. Dr. Sarit is truly a legend in her field, and her dedication to her patients is remarkable.

After the surgery, Janette, my discharge nurse, ensured I had all the necessary information and resources, including my eye drops and the SpaMedica booklet, "After Your Cataract Surgery." Her thoroughness and care were greatly appreciated as she guided me back to the main reception where my husband was waiting.

I cannot praise the entire team at SpaMedica Wokingham enough for their exceptional service and care. Thanks to all of you, I am now enjoying the vibrant colours and clarity of vision that I had longed for. Your dedication and compassion have made a significant impact on my life, and I am truly grateful.

I had my first cataract surgery at the Wokingham clinic on 27th April 2026. All staff made my experience very pleasant and they put me at ease. The clinic was spotless. My surgery was very quick and 24hrs later my vision is already greatly improved with no issues. Would highly recommended SpaMedica to family and friends!

SpaMedica Bolton, excellent again. After having very successful cataract surgery on my left eye in February I was far less anxious when having similar surgery on my right eye on 24th March. Once again all staff from reception, the numerous nurses and surgeon were all very friendly and professional. Thank you to all the excellent team.

Staff and actual surgery absolutely wonderful but rado and loud pop music very noisy not peaceful.
