How much to buy this, ill buy for 22mil.

I absolutely love the way that it shames me for not knowing the square root of 12385649673916 and tells me to ‘seek help’ when I forget how to divide 387 by £848384. I also love how it makes me waste loads of paper just to answer a really basic question and how it thinks that, just because I didn’t get 200% on my homework, I didn’t do it.

I would give 0 stars If possible, this website is absolutely garbage, my kid was complaining about homework and when I checked he had 50 odd questions or so and a few of them had book mark checks, he failed one then another and then all his work was erased. Absolutely crap, awful site I hope our schools change it.

worst experience known to mankind if your teacher makes you do this they are absolutely horrible. i would rather watch paint dry.

There is no need for bookmark checks and only drags out the already painful experience

I cry whenever I go on here. Correct answers are marked wrong, videos are irrelevant and dont help. Bookwork checks are straight from hell.

I am 14 years old i use this website repeatedly for homework i don't like doing homework as it is but one complain i have is it’s annoying bookwork Check, i am one to do my workings inside my head, i see no point for such a thing, therefore i give a rating of 1/5

I recently had the opportunity to use Sparx maths which offers videos to help with various topics and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The website is user-friendly and offers a wide variety of videos that cover a range of topics. The videos are informative and well-produced, making it easy for users to follow along and learn.

For example, the answer was 6.50 and I put 6.5 and I got it wrong ...
One of the things I appreciated about the website was that the videos were tailored to specific questions. This made it easy for me to find the exact video I needed to answer my questions. I also liked that there were several videos available for each question, so I could choose the one that worked best for me.

However, I did notice that some of the videos were not entirely relevant to the questions I was trying to answer. Some videos were similar but not quite what I was looking for, while others seemed to be utterly unrelated to the topic at hand. Additionally, I found that some of the questions in the videos were much easier than those I was working on. This was frustrating at times, as I felt like I wasn't getting the support I needed to succeed.

Overall, though, I would still highly recommend this website to anyone looking for help with their studies. The videos are high-quality and informative, and the website is easy to use. While there are a few minor issues with the relevancy of some videos and the difficulty level of some questions, these are relatively minor concerns compared to the overall benefits of using this resource.

The answers can simply be out right wrong and I have wasted way too much time with this rubbish.

An example of a question which has incorrect answer is for me at least p76, it just outright isn't correct and I wasted a full half an hour on it.

This website is one of the most redundant for mathematic learning outside of school, as someone who excells in maths and learning its complexity I find sparx maths a slow, monotonous waste of time. As it presents students with 40 questions that each take around 3 minutes. That's 2 hours, the questions are not hard and are often repetitive, 2 hours is far too much for 1 subject, as I do about 8, that's 16 hours ontop of my 40 hours in school learning. It does not improve my memory and the video is often of no help. This makes me have disdain for a subject I often find fun. Do not use if you want your students to excell as nobody prefers this to hegarty maths or others.

As a student who usually enjoys maths, Sparx gives it a bad name I have a few suggestions on how to improve however...

1. recheck database a lot of questions which say my answer is wrong turns out to be right I know this having checked with my teacher.

2. Speed videos up and make them related to the question that is being asked because a lot of my peers have in fact agreed that there is no point to watching the video unless you want to waste 1:30 seconds of your life.

3. the concept of a bookmark check is great to actually get students like myself writing things down but if you have learning difficulties and struggle writing things down and remembering the number at the top when it pops up bookwork check and these students cant remember or forgot to write it don and get the bookwork check wrong it generates a lot off hatred self disbelief, and worst of all you have to redo a variation of the question, which takes a lot more time.

in conclusion, it gives a lot of students who aren't as capable as some of the others a very hard time and has the standards set too high, it is a shame for this website has a lot off potential.

Bookwork checks are painful, and the website is deceptive in it's marketing. Also, after reading some of the other reviews here, I think it would be more beneficial to change Sparxmaths into a site for Spelling and Grammar improvement.

The videos dont even correlate with the question and its a pain to do questions and homework

also questions that i calculate to be correct, appear to be incorrect on the system, not sure why the school stopped using hegarty maths to use this...

This is torcher for pupils by teachers if you struggle with math or have problems with maths you will falie it and if you even forget the code you need to redo it If a teacher hates you this is the toucher thay will give you (if you are not great at math like 99.9%of people) then you will need to do it again is the hardest thing I have ever done

Cannot give a negative sadly, absurdity the worsed learning app. They could use.
Why on earth they think benchmark codes are need, even worse if you get it wrong it make you have to do the question again and again ( each time lowering the % completed), no option of bypassing the question if you don't know the answer or get it wrong.
E.g. you have 2 options, 100% complete ( which will take a long time, if you struggle with maths and forget the bloody code !)or not done !
Ideal torture for teachers who hate there pupils !

This is a stupid maths website. The maths question is extremely easy and absolutely time-wasting. If I could I would give a zero star.

This is the most s**t maths learning website there is. My teachers say it’s way better but there’s 5 of them and there’s 1000+ students who all think think it’s some bull crap. Zero benefits of any sort.
