The only thing is, it doesn't have performance legato. So I prefer Chamber Strings. The sound is super great and close mic is truly dry. If you prefer programming key switch precisely than only playing on keyboard with modulation wheel, you will love this product.
OK,This is what I wanted!
As a pop-oriented producer and arranger, it's nearly impossible to find string sounds that feel believable to me. Most libraries are full of beautiful enormous string sounds that feel completely fake in any sort of pop or indie context. Studio Strings Professional is the answer to that problem. The 4-player section samples and close-mic options are the sound I've been trying to find for years. I own and love several Spitfire products, but this is the one that I recommend to all of my friends.
Well working strings in a box.
Great sample library. It provides the dry sound I need for composing and have control of the reverb that was too high in the previous libraries for me.
Amazingly realistic, delicate and well organized ! A true game changer. I will not forget completely my Eastwest Hollywood Platinum series, but when it comes to writing for orchestra in a traditional manner (pen, paper and mostly mind at work) with String Studio Professional and some Olafur Arnalds, it really feels "as close as it can get" and easier to use & control in an intuitive way. Looking forward to buy more of your libraries ! Well done !
State of the Art String sounds. The Studio sound allows you to place and control your own reverb requirements and due to they intentional dryness of the recordings brings a more intimate feel to this string collection. Top Rated Strings!
Amaging sound and MIDI CC Learning is so easy working. but more explain about articulation use and keyswitch , and round ribbon
If writing music were landscape painting, then this library allows composers to achieve a nearly brushless stroke so that every fine detail can be inspected up close, every color seen clearly, and every new work appreciated for its realistic depth and lighting. I needed a string library that was more intimate than my large orchestral patches and this library is it. I have been using EQWL Hollywood Strings (diamond) for some time now and while that is useful for grand sweeping scores, it does not always scale to what my projects require. SSSP offers varied string combos and a plethora of techniques that greatly augment my ability to achieve realism with each part. Having the extra mic options allows me to meticulously shape the scale and depth of the performance. Wonderfully crafted SA. Hats off to you!
A POWERFUL string compendium! Much needed in my kit, and I am quite pleased! All I need now are some film scoring gigs!!
Love the dry recordings. I can use it for a variety of genres. The interface is fast and intuitive.

Its very flexible in terms of choices of mics. Having a mic on the first chair gives wonderful definition. I have mixed this with the Han Zimmer strings with some excellent results.

Nice dry string sound, but it is very heavy. It takes a longer time to change the midi track to audio.
I work as a composer of Chamber music and I wanted a dry String library. I am also a Music teacher travelling to several schools in the Middle East on a number of occasions throughout the year and the sounds from Spitfire help the more advanced students realise the possibilities considerably.
Fantastic sounding strings. Deeply sampled with tons of articulations and loads of customizable parameters make these strings extremely versatile!
Love this so much, it's new to me and only have just installed and got it up and running. This is a wonderful pack, I love the fact that you can change the mic levels, and be able to add what ever reverb or effects you fancy with it to make it sound really awesome. Recommend this for sure. In fact I'm so impressed, I will be going back to Spitfire today to purchase Spitfire solo strings. Especially now as at last I have a good internet speed, so downloading it now won't be such a long wait! A definite five stars for this, a wonderful strings package.
