Shoes didn't arrive within the express delivery timeframe. Once received, they'd actually sent the wrong size shoe. Refused free postage label for return. Avoid at all costs.

Awful company; I wish I read this reviews before placing an order! I used their online size guide, ordered the correct size only to find it was too small. Tried to setup a refund and I'm expected to foot the return delivery bill!

It says free returns online, phoning them they said it's not. Going to trading standards!

Awful delivery & CX

Placed an order for nortec micro spikes in December, Evri failed to deliver (still as of 07/01). Sportshoes CX team completely helpless. Out of fear I won't have them for my race, I placed another order on Monday (06/01) to ensure I get them in time, still receiving useless automated CX emails from Sportshoes. Terrible service given I am a frequent buyer & on their supposed priority membership.

Great Sports Shoes website

I've been ordering shoes from here for a few years now. I've had a few great deals and I've had very good customer service. Some of the deals are excellent. The problem is when you pay postage for and item and it doesn't fit and then you have to pay postage for the return, I get it, but it's a pain, especially when the right size of shoe is either too big or too small. This is more to do with the manufactures not being properly standardised than the shoes though.

Cheap useless crap

Very dodgy setup, they sell cheap crap that doesn't serve its purpose, then refuse refunds.
I purchased a running belt which turned out to be made of cheap rigid material. This meant it did not sit snug when running.
They refused a refund, saying it is as designed.
You are much better off using Amazon who have a much fairer return policy.

A Very Poor Experience

Well, well, well ..... I thought I was the only customer that would feel aggrieved to be charged for returning an item that did not fit, however, it would appear that I am in good company.
To add to my frustration I actually consulted their online size guide before I made my purchase and it encouraged me to go for a smaller size than I normally take!
The pleasure of trying on a £145 per of trainers actually cost me £16.32 to return them - I am based in Jersey, Channel Islands.
Needless to say I have learnt my lesson and will shop for my sports gear with a reputable company in future.

AVOID THIS COMPANY…

Just come on here to write a review about the terrible experience I’ve had with sport shoes.com only to find similar complaints.

I purchased a pair of trainers, only took 1 out the box to try, on a carpet, for barley 5mins, paid to return (poor service in itself) only to find they are refusing to give me a refund as they say the shoes are damaged.

Terrible company, avoid at all costs.

Why am i not surprised to read a review…

Why am i not surprised to read a review score of 1.7 out of 5 from 407 reviews!

These reviews seem to be all about the same issues, poor customer services and no refunds given.

Jacket purchased in Dec 2023 and after a few months developed a fault.

After contacting Sports shoes regarding its return after weeks and weeks of chasing this, they advised there was no fault with the jacket.

Avoid buying anything from this company at all costs.

Send you back faulty shoes, that they even admit is faulty.

Bought some rather expensive gore Tex approach shoes with the main reason been the waterproof feature to keep my feet dry. After less than 6 months the waterproof has failed which would be a breach of consumer rights. They did nothing to fix or replace. I had to chase every update. When I bought the shoes they sent next day tracked. However once they have your money it will be returned second class. This is even after it ran over the timescale they set. Which would have been fine if they updated me however they didn’t and have had to chase every update. I also said don’t send me the shoes till you’ve confirmed what test was done to ensure they are waterproof. They sent me them anyway. Still don’t know what test was done, the reason been they was done by multiple people. Could these multiple people not been asked? So what they have sold me is essentially and expensive slipper. As the reason they failed is the go and outside material on them 😂Avoid at all cost

NO REFUNDS DO NOT BUY

Bought my 4th pair of Terrex Swift R3 and they have always been comfy with no issues, however, this new pair were fine when i tried around the house, but when i first walked properly outside, after 5-10 minutes they were rubbing at the rear of the ankle area at the top of the heel cushion. By the time i got home that area was saw and bleeding!!! There is a stitched area inside the shoe, it may be that or the rough texture inside, i don't know. I know shoes are never perfect until you actually walk outside in them, but SPORTSSHOES return policy is ridiculous!!! No common sense is used as they say it is a 'sizing problem' on a shoe that fits perfectly well? Basically, all of a sudden i don't know my own shoe size??? This is clearly a get out clause for a product that is faulty but, on inspection, no faults will be found? So be very careful when ordering from this online store as you will not get a refund on footwear products that don't immediately cripple your feet???
