dont waste your money

shoes purcahsed are physically dangerous and give no support whatsoever. shoes were £140 , worn twice for a short walk and both times rolled my ankle in them. asked if i could return and their policy for that is extreme. if you have bought shoes there is basically no chance of returning them. they replied on email and had no sympathy for the issue. avoid at all cost, there are so many better websites out there that actually care for their customers. 0 out of 10

Sportshoes . Com and their poor customer service

Slick website with attractive variety and offers, Shame customer service doesn’t match. Ordered a pair of shoes which were dispatched, confirmed receipt from Evri, marked as delivered to an Evri parcel shop and then not on the same day. This is where the frustrations began. I emailed and called and was assured if I gave the courier time to respond that my refund would be issued. I have continually had to drive this with multiple broken promises from Customer Service at Sportsshoes. Ordered 16/7 and as I write I am without my shoes or a refund. Do not use this company unless you want to be disappointed.

Absolutely diabolical service.

Absolutely diabolical service.

Was let down by another shoe provider so paid for 6.99 evri next day delivery.

Despite paying this, they sent the item Royal Mail.

Item.suppoed to arrive today and Royal Mail confirmed time by email.

Item stuck at Yorkshire hub since last night.

Called Sportshoes.com and Chloe said she would look into it and I had to send the email confirming times. Obviously no response. Had to chase. Spoke to some guy who said he would look into reminding the difference in delivery.

1. Paid for express delivery. Not sent express or by evri as paid for.
2. Not got a scooby doo where the package is. I can see the information on the tracker.

Lesson for today, read the reviews before ordering. People are.moaning for good reason. Absolute charlatans.

I can see it having to be a charge back with this lot.

They just wont refund

Bought four parkrun t-shirts from Sportshoes and returned two t-shirts due to the wrong size. Delivered back to them on the 30th May 2024 and its now 16th June and Im still waiting for a refund. Ive chased them up via online webform and despite the promise of a refund Im still waiting. Would not recommend this company.

Terrible Service

Terrible service and misleading size charts on their website.
4 running tops crammed in a tiny bag which arrived in in a totally unacceptable condition.
They used EVRI and it took over a week for the items to arrive but lo and behold it was diverted to a local post office without my consent and no one bothered to notify of the delivery. As it was delayed I was tracking it every day to find out it was delivered. Now the problem is that I have no proof whatsoever. Other retailers and/or courier would send you a code to be scanned or the like. Not EVRI and not Sportshoes.com.
Most luckily, the postoffice knows me and handed over the package.
I had followed the size chart on their website but this was misleading as they were too big.
I had to pay for the return.
The customer service staff who answered the phone are not focused and write anything on their system which is misleading for a follow up.
Reading the reviews in here is making me now worry about the refund.
Just avoid this retailer and save the hassle, really not worthy all the stress that comes with it.

Terrible return and refund service

Terrible return and refund service!
I had to pay to return my order, I did this by a traceable service. They have had the parcel back for over a week, everytime I have ‘live chat’ with them they say to give it a couple more days.
Today I live chat and I’m told my refund had just been processed and it would take 3-5 working days. I have had no confirmation from them that the refund had been processed, and they refused to send me this confirmation! Their answer to this was….. if the refund is not in your account in 5 working days, get back in contact with them!!
That’s a ridiculous amount of time for a refund, I will not be ordering from them again!

Poor customer service and rubbish returns process

I wouldn’t order from them again. The shoes arrived in good time. But the fact you have to pay for returns for a shoe store is ridiculous. You need to try multiple sizes and shoes to get the right choice. If the order is over £300 you have to contact their email address for a return. That is around 3 pairs of expensive running shoes. I emailed them almost a week ago and received no reply. My partner has worked out we can send the shoes as two separate returns but it costs £8 in total. We also have to sort packaging for one of the deliveries. It’s a total faff. My physio tested me with the shoes and said they were no good so I’m not keeping anything from the order. I wouldn’t order from them again.

Order on Monday - delivery on Wednesday!

I place my order Monday - got my Nike shoes on Wednesday! Benefited from a 15% discount when signing up to the Mkg newsletter.
I didn’t request a fast tracked delivery and had provided an incorrect email so did not have any email confirmation, tracking details. I found the customer service details very easily (HOKA’s in comparison are impossible to find…). I emailed the customer service and the following morning I had an update from customer service. Thanks Ben!

Absolutely abysmal customer service and…

Absolutely abysmal customer service and treatment
I initially returned a pair of waterproof walking boots as they were not waterproof. Was finally offered an exchange which I was happy to do, as I needed another pair. I paid an extra £132.00 on top of the £99.99 for the first faulty pair for a pair of La sportiva boots. However, when these arrived, they were battered and clearly not new, so they were returned for a full refund of £231.99, which when they finally replied to my many emails, said they said they would do. However, upon receiving my statement, they have only refunded me £132.00 of the £231.99 !!. Finally had responses from them and they are adamant that they have refunded me. I’ve sent a copy of my statement to them to see and they still will not refund the initial £99.99.
These provide very, very poor customer service and I will now be speaking to my card company to get the money back from them. Blatantly providing awful service to customers and certainly will not be having my future business. Avoid!!!!

Shocking company

Shocking company. Advertises themselves as sellers of sports shoes but you can’t even return a pair of shoes once you’ve trialled them running and realise they injure you.

Professional Service

Ordering was easy, Prices excellent as always, and staff at Sportshoes were fantastic with help when it was needed. Well done Sportshoes.com!

Poor customer service

Poor customer service, shoes were the right size, after 5k I notice a pain in my toe, this was due to one of the shoes putting pressure on my big toe other foot was ok, trying explain this to customer service was terrible no help what so ever, will not sure them again

Why lie😡 to customers???

I don’t understand how any of you can sleep at night! You lie through your teeth to customers😡. Why not just tell the truth? I made a purchase yesterday, and you wanted to scam me for postage when it clearly says free 24 hour delivery on your website. I receive an email that informed me that you lied about the 24 hour delivery and that it won’t arrive until Wednesday. Crap CS and a bunch of northern liars!

Wrong sizing

Bought these boots as well as another one in a different color from sportshoes.com. (I already have 3 pairs Merrell MOAB 3 boots all in size 8). This one says "women", whereas the other one has no distinction like man or woman just "walking boots". The other pair fits me well but not this one. This pair is huge. When I looked at its label, it stated that US size 10.5. Comparing it to the other boots - which are fine - its label says US size 8.5. So both boots I bought says size 8 UK but one says size 8.5 US and the other says 10.5 US. The US label really tells the difference between the sizes of the two pairs I bought from this company. The customer service is very unhelpful to say the least trying to say that it was my fault not reading the label... The label I mentioned above can only be read when you receive the boots as they are inside the boots and not on the listing of the item on sportshoes.com's website. I am planning to take this matter further as it seem I will not be able to return the boots free.

Shockingly bad customer service

I ordered some shoes. Tried to return - but they will not accept as I don’t know my order number (the one on the email is not your real order number!?!) I have contacted them for help 3 times and no reply. They sent me an email asking for a review. I left one - but after reading it it was deemed not appropriate- but still they didn’t offer me the help I asked for in my review! Now have a £50 pair of shoes that don’t fit and no way of contact them for help.

AVOID!!!!!!

My husband is a runner and we ordered him some running socks. They arrived with a massive hole in them. Paid £11. Normally wouldn't pay that but assumed they would be good running socks.

Read the other reviews first. Majority of items arriving damaged!!!

Total joke and scam of a company. Customer service is AWFUL too. Do not waste your time or money!
