Shocking customer service

I ordered what I thought to be a size 5 pair of shoes, however when they came they were a US size 6, which is not a size 5 with the label suggesting EU size 39.

Shoes are just what I wanted but WAY too big, needed them in a hurry for an event after my other pair developed a hole on my last run. Delivery free and next day which is why I chose to order.

Customer service was rude when I emailed advising that I'd been sent the wrong size, I feel the customer service advisor took great pleasure in proving me "wrong" based on the tone of the email. Now having to foot the bill for return postage and go out any buy some trainers that actually fit. Won't be ordering from here again.

Fantastic company with great service!

Fantastic company with great service!

Although I had a little problem with my first parcel being lost in the system by the couriers (was shipping to South Africa), Jade and her team quickly resolved the problem and had a new parcel out for delivery within 24 hours of my first email.

With great prices and quality of service, I will definitely be shopping on Sportshoes.com in the future!

Rude and unhelpful customer service

Ordered size 10 shoes, when they came the were a US 11 which is UK 10.5. Stock is genuine but does looks like it was intended for non UK market. Customer service rude and abrupt when trying to return them. Avoid this retailer if you can.

No refund

No refund! Shoes returned for refund due to small sizing. Arranged through Sportshoes with Hermes label - paid for returns, not free! Collected on 14/5 and still showing as in transit. Sports shoes say it’s a 14 WORKING day delivery. Nothing stated on their return policy, and nothing on Hermes t and c either - despite being told I had agreed to this via their t and c. Refuse to do anything to assist or refund until the parcel shows up. Hermes direct me to Sportshoes.com.
Avoid. Feels like a scam to keep refunds in the hope you’ll forget!

watch out for sizing

We had previously bought a pair of size 6 walking boots for my wife which were great. So we ordered a second pair in the same size. In fact, they were far too small and she couldn't get her feet in them. I took some photos to show the difference between a real 6 and these boots, which could have been as small as a 4. Incredibly the company claimed there was nothing wrong with the sizing and so refused to pay the cost of the postage. I challenged them to find a member of staff who took a size 6 to get them on. I'll be interested if they can find one ! Hope they think the £2.99p postage saved was worth it.

Underwhelming customer service

Ordered a pair of shoes and was told, after the order was processed, that they were no longer available. I asked about a like for like alternative and was offered a lower quality item (RRP £30 less) if I was willing to pay more!

Has been good dealing with during the pandemic

I have finally found a pair of walking shoes that are actually comfortable. This store has been the only one online which has had stock and has not inflated its prices. The reason for giving them 4 rather than 5 stars is their insistence on using Hermes as a delivery company. 4 orders - 3 problems with deliveries. Please use someone else - anyone else.

Shoes non returnable if worn and uncomfortable

Bought a pair of Nike running shoes at £140 . Upon receiving them i wore them in the house to check for comfort . After deciding that i liked them i went for a 5 mile run and they seemed ok, i done 2 or 3 more 5mile runs and then decided to do a longer run . But after 6 or 7 miles my toes started to go numb . i done another couple of long runs and the same happened and my toes were getting so sore that i walked home bare foot . I googled about numb toes and tried lacing my shoes differently but the outcome was the same . I contacted Sportshoes.com and told them about my issue and they suggested lacing the shoes differently when i told them i had tried that they told me they couldn't help me . I explained that considering the price of the trainers and that i couldnt try them in a gym as they are all shut how else do i find out if the trainers are comfortable to run in? I said i didn't expect a full refund and that i was willing to accept a partial refund or a gift voucher . I have bought many pairs of trainers from them and even had a similar problem with a pair of trainers a few years ago which they resolved with a full exchange. Very disappointing service , i will take my business elsewhere

Avoid Sportshoes Face Masks

First off, I have not bought this product and neither would I ever do so.
Sportshoes.com get as near to a zero rating for advertising BUFF FACE MASK - SS21 £20.69 which according to Sportshoes.com protect you from 98% of particles. But they offer no proof of testing to a recognised standard.
Worse still, they advertise one of the features as:
Surgical Standard - The mask meets surgical standards of efficiency. You are therefor paying a lot of money for a coloured rag!
Anyone who has read about masks and standards for masks will immediately recognise that if this mask meets surgical standards it is NO GOOD for protection against a virus. This is because, if a mask is classified as 'surgical' it is designed to protect patients from your breathing out - you don't have the same level of protection as an FFP2 and probably FFP1 mask.
As the virus is quite serious and potentially lethal, I think Sportshoes.com are very irresponsible to be flogging stuff that has not been rated and is anyway not providing suitable protection.
Fed up with companies selling rubbish to make a quick buck.

Awful awful experience, AVOID!!!!

Awful awful experience! They sent me defective shoes... I tried phoning their cust.serv over 20 times over several days.... It was never even answered!
All my emails to them remain unanswered and not even acknowledged receipt of emails!
I have returned the shoes and am fearful that they will continue to let me down!
I feel this will end up in me taking them to court to recover my postal costs etc so be warned! Avoid like the plague... Or the Covid19!!!!

If I could give 0* I would...

This has to be the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered a package from sportshoes.com and one item was missing. I contacted them immediately by email asking if they could send me the item.

They came back to me asking what condition the package was in when it arrived and I told them it was fully intact and did not look like it had been tampered with. I did not receive a response.

I chased and was told an investigation was being raised and I’d have an update in a couple of days. No update so I chased again, to which I got the blanket “an investigation has been raised” response and that it would take 72 hours. No update again, so I went back and honestly we’ve been back and forth like this ever since.

I am honestly furious, the item wasn’t that expensive but it is the fact that they are unwilling to even try to help.

Worst buying experience of my life and I do not recommend.

EDIT: I have now received my refund, but I won’t be taking my business to them again.

Never failed me

I've bought from them a few times and never had any problems. If the sizing is wrong I blame the brand, not the them. It's an outlet, it happens.
But returns have always been dealt with without much delay.
At this moment it takes them more time to dispatch an order so you need to be patient.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience
I bought 2 jackets and one t shirt for my son in XL. When I received them I saw that the material of the jackets was very bad. Like a paper. And they were huge. I kept the t shirt and I have send the 2 jackets back by courier not by mail. I was afraid that the return will take many days because of Christmas time. 10 days ago I have received refund only for the one jacket. I have sent an email and I got a reply that they found the second jacket and they will make a refund I was waiting nothing. I have sent an other email and an other person replied and they did not find the jacket and they will make internal investigation. I have replied that you told me that you found it. But now they reply they will look.
And I ask what is my right as a customer? I am staying there and send them every day emails and ask for something that they are obliged to do.
They lost the jacket? They do not know? They are totally disorganized!!!! I am still waiting to take my my refund back !!! I do not trust them at all!!! I will never buy anything from this shop again!!!!
