Order placed 13th March. Money Taken, No goods, emailed 3 times no response from emails to the CS team. All in all shocking service.
Sceptical, but proven wrong.
I was sceptical because of the recent poor reviews, and the lack of response from Sports Shoes to said reviews, but I took a gamble.
Placed an order.
Received confirmation.
Order dispatched.
Trainers arrived today.
Was kept informed along the way with the relevant tracking numbers etc. and the trainers are exactly as ordered.
Would definitely buy again from these guys.

Slow and obstructive returns
Slow and obstructive customer service offering no admission of fault. A long way behind leading mail order sports companies like wiggle who actually value repeat business.
Sent out shoe with fault on lace loop. Photographic proof sent with first email showing debonded material. Refused to collect and replace making it a time consuming process to deliver parcel to collection depot (Asda????) and return. Meanwhile replacement shoes are now out of stock.
Would not buy from again as local shops actually have a level of customer care and would admit fault for selling goods that are defective from a manufacturer.

What amazing customer service I have just received. After being logged out of my account I called customer service and was connected to KATIE H. She advised me on what could be done and when discussing the product I wanted to buy, she popped down to the warehouse to check the colour of a product and called me back. She then went on to explore other possible options.

I bought Nike shoes off Sportshoes.com. They were EXPENSIVE 118 EURO zoom pegasus shoes. As I run half marathons I wanted good shoes and went for a more expensive option. THEY BROKE AND THEY WON'T GIVE ME A REFUND. Previously, I have bought Nike shoes that have lasted 2 years from Intersport/Lifestyle Sport/Decathlon that were much less expensive and did not tear. My Sportshoes shoes only lasted 2 months before the foam broke and cracked at the back. They won't give me a refund just a "good will" credit note, or option to spend an extra 40 euro to buy more expensive similar shoes. Don't buy shoes from them they are bad quality and the customer service and returns team are really unhelpful.
Very disappointed - extraordinarily poor service
paid additional money to return shoes that were the wrong size (seems a bit unfair as I already had to pay £7 delivery!). A month later I am still waiting for a refund. The latest from sportshoes is that it is up to me to liaise with Hermes to track down the parcel, although the Hermes tracking website says it has been delivered to sportshoes.direct :(. Another nougat of advice from sportshoes over the last week or two - "you could have paid more for a return with Royal Mail - they would return next day". Well thank you, but if you had explained the risks of the "cheapo" return I wouldn't have selected it. Also more customer advice "you have to wait up to 7 working days for the shoes to get from the "depot" back into the sportshoes stock", then a week later, "you have to wait up to 14 working days for the return to be registered". Then another week later "we still haven't received it. You have to wait a further 7 days for us to launch an investigation".
A bit of a shock to the system as I am used to next day returns from Amazon, Next, schuh, etc. Will never buy from this company again.

Extremely bad customer service, waiting days for a few line reply that doesn't reply help in the end. Definitely not recommend.
Deserves my 5* rating
I never checked Trustpilot before ordering and perhaps I would have hesitated based on previous reviews. Glad then that I didn't because everything was perfect. Ordered new Mizuno running shoes late on Monday evening, confirmation of shipping on the Tuesday, delivered safe and sound on the Thursday. Price was excellent (cheapest I could find anywhere for the make and model) and I have no issue with £4.99 for shipping when they are delivered on time like this. Clearly this is based on a single shopping experience but I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Awful awful awful customer service! Sent a pair of trainers that had clearly been worn and company refused to accept responsibility for this. I have been refused a refund or replacement and am now battling with the escalation team for the details of the company director! Will be contacting trading standards and will never use this company again after being a loyal customer for 15 years! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

Good range and prices but the service is failing badly
I ordered several small items three days ago from Sportsshoes.com, at the same time I ordered a number of items from a competitor, both are based in the UK. The competitor has shipped and the item has already arrived. Sportshoes.com do not appear to have even shipped the order yet. A second issue is the shipping time on the site said 3-5 days to Ireland, yet the confirmation email I received immediately on placing the order says 7-10 days, a massive difference when you are ordering something in a time sensitive situation.
RUDE, SLOW, paying too much for delivery
Slow delivery service, rude customer service, telling me that today is bank holiday, they will not come. I mean I did not see that customer representative created new bank holiday just to find excuse for themselves, but I am not stupid, as bank holiday was last week. Order on Wednesday-Thursday night, received email on Friday shoes were dispatched, but Hermes received them on Saturday. And I paid for delivery £5, go to Footasylum, if you pay £5, you will get them in less than 24 hours by same courier, so problem is somewhere else, it will not be courier. Sent small size, shoes seems to be for women, not men. RUBBISH, DO NOT ORDER, you will have to pay for return as well. If you want to order sport stuff, go for wiggle or tredz, amazing fast delivery (also large items) and customer service is lovely, always there for customers.

I have bought 2 pairs of shoes that wasn't delivered. After some days I email the company to enquire and they inform me that there was some problem with the carrier company and asked if I want to have the parcel re-shipped or refund, I asked for refund and they just didn't reply. I have tried many emails and message on the web site but without return. I also opened a case on Paypal but Sportshoes didn't answer as well. They have my 105€ and the products. If you can, avoid problems and buy for some serious dealer.
