Similar to other reviews, people need to be aware of the very sharp practice operated by this company in terms of stock availability.

I ordered outdoor chairs from Stone Butterfly in May because they showed as in stock when most other retailers are sold out for the year.

I was then contacted (after payment had been taken) to say not currently in stock but would be in 6-8 weeks.

When I heard nothing in that time, I contacted them and was told abruptly it would August (no apology or explanation for the extra 6 weeks+ delay).

I proactively had to ask them to split the order with other in stock items i had paid for. It took two attempts to get them to do this (delivery was promised and simply didn't happen) and at this stage, I decided to take a refund on the out of stock items as I didn't want to wait until August when they didn't inspire confidence in their ability to keep a promise.

Note: during this whole time (May to July) the stock status hasn't changed on the website for this product. This misleading practice is very unprofessional and unjustifiable.

The one positive: a refund was provided in the timescales that they said it would be and the other items eventually delivered in July.

I looked all over the net for a company that could customize a sideboard to fit into a specific aperture in my lounge. These guys were so good they made it to fit excatly and even changed a few other things I wanted with the design. Highly recommend.

Second time I have purchased from this company and I just had to leave a review this time. From start to finish they we’re super helpful and the girls in the office went above and beyond for me. 5 Star service.

I ordered a bed a week ago and I couldn’t be more pleased when it arrived today. Really good quality for the price and came quickly as well. Sales team were extremely helpful also. Spent a lot of time with me on the phone going over colours and options. Will definitely be back for more furniture at some point.

Really impressed with my new dining chairs. Spoke to them to confirm when my order would arrive and they arrived next day. Had to assemble the chairs but the instructions were really easy to follow.

Lovely quality chairs, ordered last week, came this week. Have an order ongoing for a custom side board but this is a few weeks away from being ready.
Colour match will be perfect to tie in with kitchen wall as I was able to give them the farrow and ball paint code.

I ordered two Eames style chairs for our kitchen. Before ordering, I asked what the lead time would be, and an email came back quickly to say it would be 3-5 days, so I ordered. So I was delighted when they arrived this morning, only two days after ordering! The quality is great and they're very comfortable. We absolutely love them. Communication was great, quick despatch, and lovely quality.

Bought a bookshelf from these guys and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Customised it to exactly how I wanted and had it delivered today. Quality is fantastic and the staff were all really friendly from office to delivery driver.

Ordered an Eames lounge chair, I received an email from Lauren after ordering to notify me there would be a slight delay on this which I wasn’t surprised about due to Brexit, COVID etc. It was delivered promptly by the in house team and overall I am very happy with the product, certainly worth the wait!!

Purchased some seat cushions a few weeks ago and recently there has been some sort of chemical reaction and the cushions now have discolouration in the form of spotting. In this day and age most suppliers are cooperative and try to preserve their reputation, but not Stone Butterfly. They tell me that because we are out of the 30 day period they have no liability, which is clearly not the case under English law.
I am getting the cushions appraised by an expert but first claiming under section 75 through my credit card company as the appraisal will involve a fee, ultimately to be claimed back from the seller via the small claims court. Looking at recent reviews things are clearly not right at this company, judging by others’ comments, so be warned.

If I could give no stars I would.... havent even received my item which was purchased at the beginning of April. Said it was in stock online then got an email to say it wasn't and it would be delayed til May. They offered me a 10% discount to keep my order and await the delivery.... never saw the partial refund. I have been in contact several times since and the date keeps moving. Something to do with the Suez canal but I have had other things I purchased affected by this and received them weeks ago. Think I'm being spun a load of lies especially as now not responding to my emails despite being told it would land sometime in June..... we are now nearly at the end of June!!!! Great products (well from what I've seen online as I've not actually received mine and doubtful I will) but terrible customer services and clearly liars 😤😤😤

I ordered a four poster bed from Stonebutterfly and I could not be happier with both the product and the service that I received. I was moving in to a new build property so I ordered everything well in advance to ensure delivery as soon as I moved in. Sadly my move was delayed by 5 weeks at the last minute but Stonebutterfly agreed to hold on to my bed and arrange a date for delivery after I was moved in. I was kept up to date the day before delivery and I received a phone call 30 minutes before to say the driver was on his way. I paid for extra for the bed to be constructed and I was so pleased that I did. The driver/bed builder was polite and courteous. He made sure he positioned the bed in the right place and that I was happy with the job.

The bed itself exceeds all of my expectations. It is extremely well made, solid and stylish. The colour goes perfectly with my decor and I am so happy with my purchase. I will definitely be buying from Stonebutterfly again and I can definitely recommend them as a company.

Our chairs arrived without the relevant screws. I called up and explained which screws were missing and was told these would be posted out to me. I received the screws in the post but I still had some missing screws despite having clearly explained which screws I needed and the quantity!! I had to call up yet again and was meant to get a call back from a Manager but received no call back!! I had ordered the chairs for a garden party but wasn’t able to use them which was extremely disappointing. The after sales service is non existent and the people in the customer service team always sound so confused and a bit lost on the phone!

So happy with our eames dining table, the sprayed finish is beautiful.
Have recommended to friends already!
