Avoid not genuine

In common with others placed an order. Chased order up and was told it would be with them from manufacturer 'within a week'. It never arrived and I received no answers to further enquiries and requests for refund. Have had to open a ncase with PayPal to which they didn't respond either so now have had to start a claim with PayPal. Scam website avoid at all costs.

Terrible customer service - no response to phone or email.

We have chased for a quote for two weeks, they don’t answer their phone but when they do they promise they will come back to you ASAP. Karlo is apparently so busy that he can’t respond with a price. Avoid and would support the other negative reviews. Very disappointing customer service. I tried calling multiple times and an irate woman phoned me back asking why I had called so many times. I explained the circumstances. She told me Karlo would come back to me that day. Three days later no response.

Excellent support - item delivered as described

I received excellent support from start to finish with Stovebay, and the item received was perfect. I needed a baffle plate for a Dimplex Westcott 8Kw stove and although these weren't specifically listed on their website, members of the team (Charlene in particular) went out of their way to check dimensions and confirmed the Firefox 8 baffle plate was the same fit. Needless to say I received today (5 days after ordering) and it fits perfectly. I've a lot wood to get through now ;o) - Big thanks to the Stovebay team for their help locating this baffle plate for me..

Ordered a stove baffle

Ordered a stove baffle. Chased and chased with calls and emails. Nothing ever arrived and emails not replied to. Will have to initiate a credit card chargeback. Avoid this company.

ordered parts. not even shipped. no tracking. no answer on the number, no answer on email. over 160 worth if parts needed! be ware they also own Stovespares and they have done the same! unbeknown to me they are the same company!!!!!!

I ordered a stove grate for wood burner ,

Multiple times I had to try and chase up where the part was as I’m waiting for it ,
Reply’s were vague and limited.,
It's due in this week etc

3 months later and I have given up waiting for part and no refund given.

Would not touch company with a barge pole they’re dreadful.

I gave one star because you can’t give…

I gave one star because you can’t give zero. Weeks ago I ordered a part from them and no delivery date was given. I therefore assumed a reasonable time would be taken. Nothing arrived so I contacted them. No response. I tried several times it still no response. I eventually threatened legal action and they then decided to lower themselves to actually treating the irritating little client with a grain of courtesy and respect. They blamed delays in supply from the manufacturer. So why not let the customer know that instead of the display of offensive ignorance they showed me? I still have received no item and once more they refuse to reply to contact. Due to my stove being out of action I am spending a lot of money on alternative heating. I am now contacting my solicitor regarding action to recover costs incurred due to this company not informing me of delays. This company is a disgrace and not to be trusted.

I have had a really good recent…

I have had a really good recent experience with Stove Bay. I ordered a log burner and a Geocast fireplace beam. I became concerned when I then read some negative reviews so I contacted them with my concerns. Every email was replied to and they also called me several times to reassure me and get my order posted sooner. Charlene was great. They are based in NI so delivery does take longer than I expected - but they communicated with me throughout and were extremely helpful. Please don’t be put off by negative reviews, this has been a great experience and fantastic discount prices for quality products. If it takes longer to be delivered than expected, don’t panic!

I don't want to even give one star

I don't want to even give one star. Shameful business. Promises to call, doesn't. Have ordered and paid for a Morso part and received no update. I so wish I had read reviews before ordering. AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS THEY CAN GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER.

Have bought from stove bay in the past…

Have bought from stove bay in the past with no problem. This time I checked the website and couldn't find what I was looking for so rang them directly only to be told to ring back next day. Rang next day and was told to ring later. They didn't understand what I was looking for so sent them an email with photos attached to show exactly what I was looking for. Was told they would ring me back. Surprise surprise they didn't. When I tried ringing them they wouldn't answer the phone. All I needed was to be told sorry I don't have what you are looking for but they just kept ignoring me. Not a great way of running a business. Won't be using again

BEWARE!!!

Ordered Morso parts a month ago. No delivery, no further contact and no response to queries. Only thing received is 'Out of Office' automated responses. I would advise going elsewhere at least until someone can report a better experience.

Fire bricks not fitting in my stove

I ordered fire bricks to replace my old ones that were broken/worn after 9 years of service for my Contura 850 stove. The shapes of the new fire bricks were very different from the shapes of the original bricks of the stove. They did not have any bevels to fit in the slots of the stove and most of the fire bricks were actually thicker/bulkier than the original, and one of them was actually smaller than the original counterpart. As a result they would not fit properly. I send them an email before Xmas but still have not heard anything back. Will now have to order the originals, which are also not much more expensive than the ones ordered from Stovebay.com. I should have known better and done that from the start.
