Thank you to Marilyn for a great ear piercing experience for my daughter (11). Marilyn explained everything well and made sure my daughter was relaxed too. It was also a lovely, private environment. The ear piercing certificate was a nice touch as well!

First time I have ordered from this jewellers and got to say outstanding service very quick delivery little sweets was a lovely touch also will definitely order again.

I decided to order just before Christmas. I wasn’t expecting to receive my items until after the festive period but if I’m remembering correctly, they were actually delivered next day.

We were looking for a specific necklace item, and spotted this on the website on special offer.
Our ordering experience was simple and easy, the necklace was packaged carefully and wrapped nicely, and was exactly what we were after.
The delivery was quick via Royal Mail tracked, and we were happy to shop with them and support a family business.

My daughter had her ears pierced by Marilyn, she was excellent, she was great at explaining everything and made my daughter feel at ease when she was feeling a bit apprehensive. She was really calm and made the experience as reassuring as possible. My daughter is really pleased with her lovely new earrings and her certificate. Also the aftercare information and cleanser are really helpful. I definitely recommend Marilyn and strange the jewellers.

Fantastic service with very fast delivery.

I had my second ear piercing done by Marilyn a few weeks ago and she was so informative about what would happen and the aftercare.
They offer a 6 week check up so went back today and was welcomed by Jo and Marilyn. I chose some more studs and couldn’t decide with so much choice, so had help from Marilyn (thank you).
The whole experience from the first day was wonderful. You can tell how much they care for their customers and I would definitely recommend to anyone to go to them.

Great service and brilliant delivery time ( came early) would recommend this seller to anyone and I will most definitely be using them again

I had my nose pierced there a month ago.
The stuff they used was a stud with no backing inside the nose which i was a bit surprised by, and they gave me a stud with the branch at a right angle for in a few weeks times when the piercing was healed.
After only 3 days, as the swelling had gone down, the stud fell down the sink as i was washing my face.
That was unlucky but i thought id now have to put the other one they gave me, but this turned out to be absolutely impossible as the piercing was not healed at all and trying to insert a stud with a branch at a right angle was extremely painful.
Because this happened on a sunday evening, and the jewellers were closed, i decided to put in a nose ring that i had bought for when the piercing was healed, knowing that it might not be hypoallergenic, but i didn't want the piercong to heal overnight.
The day after the jewellers were closed so i sought advice at a specialist peliercer and they said to keep the ring in as i would be making it worse by chamging it yet again.
Fast forward 2 weeks and i had developed a big nose bump, even though i had followed all the hygiene recommendations etc.
The bump finally went down after 10 days of sea salt water soaking, but came back again as soon as i stopped the soakings.
I went to a specialist piercer again today to have it closely looked at and they confirmed that the piercing had been done at a wrong angle and that no matter what i did the bump would always come back, so i had to take it out and wait that it heals before i coyld do anything else.
All in all not a positive experience, and money down the drain!!!

Edit as I can't reply to the shop's response : I went on holiday the following Tuesday after I had my piercing done and your shop is closed on Mondays which is the reason I had to seek advice elsewhere than at your shop.
I diligently took care of my piercing after it was done but with hindsight, it was obvious that a stud with no backing inside the nose was not going to stay put, and so I should have questioned your choice of jewellery further before going ahead.
In fact, this is not common practise amongst people whose job is to do nose piercings.
Also, I find interesting that you are considering every potential fault of mine possible to explain the fact that the nose bump kept reappearing BUT a fault on your part...
The fact that you are a family owned shop that has been opened for 100 years doesn't have anything to do with the matter at hand BTW.

Have used this jewellers several times and always have excellent service. Lovely pair of Clogau earrings bought in the sale using their click and collect service, which they’d put in an attractive gift bag.

Exceptional service. Placed my order and received an email to confirm the details. Later the same day I had another email to let me know my order had been shipped together with a Royal Mail tracking number. Parcel was delivered the following morning at 8-30am less than 24hours after placing my order. Very happy customer.
