This company actually goes that extra mile to make your holiday a special occasion. Their knowledge of your destination is unsurpassed and you can be sure that the most is made of your trip. We would not hesitate to use this company again. They were a delight to work with and extremely personable. We have great memories of the holiday thanks to James and his team. We did some some wonderful things, saw incredible sites and stayed at some unbelievable places, which we would not have experienced had it not been for Sundowner Holidays!

Lucy listened to our wishes and organised the most wonderful adventure in Costa Rica. I cannot recommend highly enough.

From the moment of speaking with Lucy initially on the phone to the actual trip to Costa Rica for our honeymoon, it has been stress free and such an enjoyable process. We had no hiccups during the trip and it all went smoothly - what an amazing country it is! We honestly cannot thank you enough, it was so special!

Just returned from a family holiday in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Perfectly put together by Lucy at Sundowner. We gave her the brief of combining our family's love of nature, animals and outdoor activities and we were provided with a magical tour with five truly amazing hotels that exceeded all our expectations. Would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

Amazing...we gave Jo a simple idea of the activities we think we will enjoy as a family in Borneo and the rest was sorted! A detailed sample itinerary followed, we made a couple of small tweaks, all of which was dealt with quickly, efficiently and made so much easier knowing the advice and changes were being given based on own experience. Jo was able to answer any questions I had regarding the accommodation and activities without delay. Cannot wait for the holiday and feel very happy with the overall booking and help given to date. Highly recommend!

We have just completed our second adventure with Sundowner Holidays. James worked with us to build an amazing, personalised trip to Borneo, recommending amazing locations and including all of the experiences we were looking for. We were impressed by their attention to detail, and where we asked for specific activities or locations the team ensured all of our wishes were met. Our holiday had to be postponed twice due to the pandemic, but the Sundowner team were on the case and we were kept up to date, and informed throughout. Oh, and the overall cost was reasonable too, and cheaper than competitors! We’ll be planning our 2023 holiday with Sundowners soon, and have recommended them to our friends too!

The sundowners team ensured that we had a seamless and fun experience. Starting from detailed information on the trip to everything organised to the last detail during the trip. We had a thoroughly positive experience from beginning to end with Sundowner. We wanted our holiday to Costa Rica to be all things to all people in our family - to include adventure, gorgeous wildlife, wonderful beaches, comfortable eco-friendly accommodation AND come in on budget! Lucy and the team at Sundowner could not have done better and we were thrilled with our holiday from beginning to end. Our hire car was even delivered to the restaurant where we were having lunch! Sundowner Holidays constructed the perfect family trip for the 6 members of our family spanning 3 generations. The trip was perfect in every detail and cleverly combined adventure, challenge, education and relaxation which provided something for everyone every day.
Our family holiday to South Africa was unforgettable; offering safe, comfortable accommodation, punctual transfers, knowledgeable and friendly local guides and a huge range of experiences from quad bikes and boat trips to sunrise safaris and nighttime star gazing. I booked to go to Borneo with this company and can say I had an excellent service from start to finish. The holiday was amazing from start to finish i would recommend this travel company everything was perfect.

James organised our holiday to Costa Rica. Actually he organised our failed (due to lockdown) trip to Vietnam and the ease that was organised then cancelled was amazing.

However, this was the best family holiday we have ever had. Tailored to what we wanted in beautiful and perfect accommodation that suited us. Every day was an adventure and honestly trying to find a highlight is impossible. From watching giant green turtles laying their eggs then walking back into the sea, to being woken up by howler monkeys to zip lining through the rainforest and kayaking with crocodiles. From learning to surf to lying beside the pool. And the thunderstorms!! Oh and morning yoga to the sounds of the rainforest. The holiday was amazing. However, James spent the time listening to what we wanted and used his experience there to give us the best possible holiday for both us and our children. We would never have been able to organise this without him. It really was his experience that helped us. We really feel we got a feel for Costa Rica. If you are sitting on the fence just do it!! If you aren’t and you have booked already - I’m so jealous.

Jo and Lucy were absolutely amazing at putting together our holiday to Borneo, originally a great holiday to Sri Lanka was organised which looked stunning , but at very short notice we were advised that we could not travel and Lucy and Jo worked very quickly to re arrange our holiday with a Borneo trip , it was so fantastic they organised a great mixture or being with wildlife and then some relaxing time , my 17/20 children absolutely loved it too, they use great people to make sure everything runs so smoothly and I couldn’t have asked for better guides I highly recommended Sundowner as a company they listen to what you would like and then put together an incredible package. Thank You so much will definitely be using them again.

Firstly over the last few years and because of Covid, SUNDOWNER HOLIDAYS have been so helpful and nothing was too much trouble in making this holiday a reality. ( Team Thanks as well) you have put together a fabulous personal itinerary for my family, and I would rate this as one of our all time favourites to Malasysia.
It was everything the itinerary promised and much more. We have never met so many friendly people throughout our vacation.
The places we stayed at were superb, and the food choices offered catered for all diets.
The guides were excellent & knowledgeable, and yes we did see the Big 5, plus the Sun Bear.
That’s it, 5 ⭐️ for this Borneo Adventure.
The additional Mt Kinabalu Mountain climb, booked through Amazing Borneo Adventures was tough, but if you want a challenge, and something a little different from Jungle Safaris and Beach then the 2 day, 1 night package, is recommended. The weather was kind and we did summit.

Sundowner helped plan our honeymoon to costa rica. We had a very friendly woman called Lucy who organised it all. She lsitened to everything we wanted to experience and our capabilities and then designed a fantastic itineray. We had an absoluetly amazing time!

Its obviously been very trying times over the past two years but Jo, Hannah and Lucy have worked tirelessly to create for us our dream holiday, changing from Sri Lanka to Borneo at the last minute. Once we actually got away everything ran like clockwork and all of the team on location were just as helpful. We wouldn't hesitate to use Sundowners again.

We have just returned from our honeymoon in Costa Rica. Lucy organised us the most amazing trip, we can’t fault anything. All the hotels were incredible as were the activities that were booked for us. All our transport and transfer around the country turned up exactly as planned and were all great. Just returned from a wonderful 2-week holiday in Sri Lanka. James at Sundowner put together an excellent itinerary, taking in the must-see sights and some great hotels. Everything ran like clockwork and our driver/guide, Dan, was knowledgable, helpful and a great bloke! We would love to go back there again (after we've ticked off a few more bucket-list locations!) and would highly recommend Sundowner Holidays.

What can I say about Sundowner holidays apart from AMAZING. This was our 4 th holiday we have booked with
Sundowner and each one has been exceptional.

We travelled to Kenya Feb 2022 and stayed at Kichwa Tempo in the Masai Mara, our guide was Anne who made each day an adventure. She asked us each day what we wanted to see and her determination and enthusiasm was infectious towards discovering the animals we specified. All the staff were fantastic and we were truly made to feel special and cared for from the moment we arrived. The second part of our holiday was at Dinai beach staying at Waterlovers. All I can say is WOW, the hotel was beautiful, the staff were attentive and nothing was to much trouble. The beach was naturally beautiful, clean, safe and amazing snorkelling on the reef.
Once again James and your team you have pulled it out of the bag, always sensitive to our needs. We always set James and the team a challenge to beat the last holiday and they certainly came through this time . Can’t wait for next adventure. Thank you all once again.
