Company could not get the scheduled…

Company could not get the scheduled auto payment right. I scheduled payment for the 26th of the month but started getting deliquent notices on the 20th of the month. As a result, my credit may have been impaired. I have been charged the wrong amount as well.

After reviewing, it appears there was a misunderstanding during the request to change your due date. Although the change was initially discussed, due dates unfortunately cannot be adjusted while a loan is still in its promotional period. Because the due date was not able to be changed, the system continued to recognize the original due date rather than the date you selected for your recurring payment. This is what caused your account to appear past due even though you had a payment scheduled for later in the month.

Unique was the only customer service…

Unique was the only customer service representative who was able to resolve my payment issues and explain what happened with previous errors.
I had a previous person try to take a payment from a wrong account. This caused me a penalty fee plus interest. This person assured me at the time of the transaction the loan was paid off and everything was set. Not the case!!! Another time a person put in the wrong amount of payment but she did catch it. It was just another straw on the camel’s back. It was never seamless until my conversation with Unique from SD.
Plus now my deferred loan is set up for the first tax season instead of 18 month. This was not discussed with me. Why would a person choose this option? It is always better to have more time. There is nothing preventing paying off early if you want. When it comes time to make the final deferred payment, I can only hope Unique is still employed with you and I can have her take care of my transactions. After what I have been through with phone calls and extra fees, I feel I can only trust her. I hope this is sent to the President of the company so Unique is recognized and he/she is aware of what customers are going through to try to pay their loan.

Regarding your deferred payment setup, unfortunately switching to the 18-month deferral option is not available once a project is marked complete and funding has been issued. This change would have needed to occur before installation was confirmed. Additionally, the 18-month deferral loan is no longer offered on new projects as of October 1, 2025.
