A lot of waiting around for coaches. Disappointed in the time allowed on the Husky and Reindeer rides, also the Snowmobiles, roughly around 3/4 minutes on each one! Food available in the hotel didn't have a lot of choices. The kids enjoyed the snow and the experience of it all, but overall disappointed considering the cost of it

Absolutely amazing time from start to finish. From the 2 elves that met us at the airport to rudolf, the elf that met us at the airport and stayed with us for the whole trip. He was brilliant with the kids from playing games to singing christmas songs. The only negative about the whole trip was the visit to Santy. It was extremely quick. He knew nothing about the kids. Asked basically no questions. Didn't ask them what they wanted for christmas or didn't know even though they filled out the santy letter that day and handed it to staff. It was the only let down of the trip which when you think of it it should be the most magical part. Other than that everything was brilliant

Our trip to lapland was amazing from start to finish. As soon as you step into the airport the magic begins. The sunway reps were amazing too. Everything was included in the price. Would definitely recommend sunway if your booking a trip to the north pole

I brought my 9 year old son to see Santa in Yllas and he had a wonderful time. It was a fantastic trip but there are a few tweaks to be made. The reindeer, husky rides and snowmobile trip really is poor. You get less than 5 minutes at each attraction and there's absolutely no interaction with the animals and there is a lot of standing and waiting around. We were there for over an hour and everyone was finished within 20 mins. Santa's secret village is fantastic, so magical and that's what made the trip. The elves that are on the trip with us are fantastic. Whatever they're paid is not enough, they go above and beyond constantly and keep the kids entertained. The only point that I would like to stress is that this trip isn't suitable for children under 6 or 7. The cold is almost painful, yes the suits provided keep your body warm but all the young children would be crying because their face hurts. Not forgetting that the suits weigh a considerable amount and walking all day in them is a bit much for the younger guests. There was a lot of very tired, cold and crying small children that had to be carried around all day.

Lapland really is a wonderland. The magic was sprinkled by our elf Tonttu . She was spectacular. We were disappointed with the rides to be honest . They were very short snd commercial . The festive dinner was marvellous and Santa's secret hideaway. Overall the trip was let down by the activities outdoors

There's mixed things about this trip. There is obviously a magical experience for kids and that is the main thing that is being sold here But the rest of things leaves a sour taste in your mouth. You pay almost 3k a day and you end up having to sleep on a crappy fold up couch, you go to a reindeer sledge ride which lasts about 45 seconds. You go to a husky ride that goes around a 200metre track and lasts about 30 seconds and then a snow mobile ride which very very slowly goes around what is equivalent to two football fields. So it's definitely a rip off in terms of price, 3 of the major events are very "fr ted tunnel of goats" but then the kids do love it. So there's a mix of positives and negatives and you get good photos but after most things the adults look at each other and quietly say "seriously, was that it?"

It was an amazing experience. We were a party of 13 with 8 adults and five children, aged 2 years to 8 years. From the moment we reached the airport terminal, the fun started and although the trip was short the one full day was packed with activity and fun. Everyone worked hard to keep it authentic and the elves in their very large numbers made it magical. The children were totally bought in. Our expectations of the hotel were low, given the type of holiday but we were very pleasantly surprised and enjoyed it all - food, pool etc. I would highly recommend the Lapland experience with Sunway.

Fantastic trip from the minute we got to the airport meeting the elves Pixie and Sparkles who kept us entertained for the whole flight.. Being met in lapland by the elf Happy Tontu who was amazing with the kids. The whole trip was an amazing experience.a trip of a lifetime.
